That's how I maxxed out Yuna's white mage ability. I just klept praying every turn and she kept racking up AP's. Plus since most of her abilities don't take a ton of AP's, she learned everything quickly. I'm right near the end of chapter 2, I'm glad another dressphere is coming. I'm waiting to put Paine in the Samurai outfit just to see how she does. However, this goddamn publicity campaign for the Calm Lands area is slowing me down. Yes I know I don't HAVE to do it but...must..do...everything. On another note, what grids are you using for everyone? Trying to figure out how to make sure everyone can get to their best outfits but still able to get to thier personal one if neccessary. For me, it's: Yuna = Mage, Gunner, Gun Mage Rikku = Gun Mage, THIEF, Black Mage Paine = Warrior, occassional thief or black mage Still gotta diversify so they are well rounded.

LOTR: The Two Towers Special Extended DVD
Conspiracy_Victim replied to The Dames's topic in Television & Film
Well I just want to throw in my .02 and say that I thought most of the added scenes added something to the plot without being to distracting, but I guess Hollywood execs figure we can't sit through a 3-1/2 hour movie. By far my favorite scene is Sons of the Steward, as Sean Bean = good in my estimation. It showed why Boromir acted like he did in LOTR, and made his (and Faramir's in TTT) sacrifice to let the ring get away even more noble. -
I wouldn't say I'm a fan of VIII, but I tolerated it enough to go back and FINALLY finish it. As another FF (specifically X) fan, I just now got though chapter 1 after a little less than 10 hours of gameplay. I'm going through it as completely as possible so I can catch everything. So far it's been fun. Dresspheres are an interesting way to go, although to be honest I miss the sphere grid. Side jobs are weird but kinda fun (a couple gave me a WTF? kinda feeling). Hedy Burress has done a much better job voicing Yuna this time around, and Paine talks about as much as Auron did in X (not much) but she seems to be well voiced as well. Rikku is Rikku (i.e. badly in need of a Ritalin drip). Good to see how the characters have developed in the past 2 years, although some have gone farther afield than others (those of you who remember Issaru are going to laugh at what he does now). Still kinda waiting for the main plot to develop, so I'll see how chapter 2 goes.

What's his name? Damian 666 or something like that? I can never remember it for sure. I always thought that would be a great gimmick. Calling out a superstar then using one of his signature moves would make for a fun match if booked well, although it might take some mystique out of the moves when someone hits like 4 or 5 "finishers" in a row. Unless he just finished off a match with different finishers. Anyway, not a lot to look forward to, although I always get a laugh out of Cena's raps. Sticking slugs with talented wrestlers (i.e. Benoit v. Jones) usually doesn't make for good matches. I'll still watch it though.

Actually in the book that happens when one of the scientists comes back "affected" be repeated trips into the past and wanders off the lab they had constructed out in the middle of nowhere. I don't know I'm willing to give it a try when it hits the rentals, but it has earned my wrath by violating my 1st Commandmant of Moviemaking - Thou shalt not make Paul Walker the "star" of your movie.

From left to right: Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro, Paul Sorvino, and Joe Pesci. And yes I love Boondock Saints. I eagerly await the sequel "All Saints Day". Apparently the brothers go back to Ireland to visit their mother and somewhat starts copycatting them back in Boston, except they're killing people the brothers wouldn't. So now the brothers are in trouble with everyone and have to clear their name. That's what I've HEARD, I make no claims about the veracity of the report. However, Sean Patrick Flanery, Billy Connelly, and Norman Reedus will all reprise their roles. Haven't seen Willem Dafoe anywhere so I think he's taking a pass.

Man Goldberg had better not job to HHH's Indian Death Lock at SS. That'd be almost as bad as jobbing to the Main Event Sleeper of DOOM! -

Storyline wise, technically, isn't D-Von half white anyway? And damn, I forgot all about Goldberg/Batista. D-von is adapted? No...DVon's dad was black and Bubba's White mom hooked up... I thought Big Daddy Dudley was white and he slept with D'von's mom, who was from "south-central Dudleyville". -

Maybe it's Big Bossman's triumphant return. Booker got transferred to Cobb County from Harris for a short time or something. -
