Not to rain on your parade NCJ but Starcraft: Ghost has been moved to 1st quarter/half of next year. I did forget LOTR: WOTR and Ninja Gaiden though. Man I really need to go into debt or something for this stuff. OK family Christmas is cancelled I need to fill my own needs first this year!

First, I've messed around with Rainbow Six 3 and even though I'm not the biggest fan of tactical team shooters it's pretty fun. Vast amounts of weaponry to use is entertaining. Second even though I'm still messing around with Gladius, I plan on picking up X-2 ASAP (mercifully already prepaid for back when I had extra cash *sigh*) and somehow getting Max Payne 2 and hopefully Prince of Persia. Everything else is on a wait and see basis.

The boat bombing one with the RC planes is easy. Don't drop any bombs to start and roll around the pier with your plane and kill all the gang members by running into them. They won't shoot at you. Then when they're all dead the boats don't go anywhere and it's home free. I don't know if they fixed that for the PC version or will fix it for the XBox version, but that's the easiest way to do it on the PS2. The Seaplane one is annoying, it took me 3 or 4 attempts. The boatrace was slightly easier, I did it on the 2nd attempt after trying to take a turn too tight and flipping my boat on the first attempt.

For the breaking windows mission, I heard it's really easy when you break them all by doing drive-by's on a motorcycle. When I first played this mission, it took me forever to beat it. I never thought of using the motorcycle. Or you can rip the sports car (I think it's the Infernus) that's sitting on a stand on the first floor. That way you don't get flattened off the cycle by a random rent-a-cop in the mall when you start breaking windows. Drive by the 1st floor, drive to an escalator, then run around the second floor grabbing clothes and shooting out windows as neccessary. It took me several attempts to do it so take my advice for what it's worth.

OK that's the first time I've seen the Smackdown commercial. Excellent, as far as WWE commercials go. -

Last we saw of Paul wasn't he getting splattered by Lesnar? Ergo, wouldn't Heyman WANT Undertaker to beat the shit outta Brock? Good to see Paul back though. -

Ugh... At least he didn't bring back the "Genetic Jackhammer" catchphrase. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread

Next week looks great. Spike's little comment to Angel upon finding him had me laughing. -
While I would definitely like seeing Thrawn kicking major ass on screen, I doubt it would happen. For some reason, while Lucas probably likes the money they bring in, he doesn't seem to care too much for the book SW universe. I've seen it posted before on places like supershadow.com (it's a fan site, but done by someone who definitely seems to have an ear close to Lucas) that George doesn't like how his characters are portrayed a lot of the time. So, basically, it would probably end up something completely new. However, since there is a rumor that an expanded universe character will make an appearance in Episode 3 (and, intertestingly enough, Thrawn's arrival from the Unknown Regions would seem to fit in to the timeline of the movie fairly well) Lucas/Spielberg etc may do it if the money and demand are right.

It's a pretty decent rail shooter. I agree it's not GREAT, but pretty decent. I actually sat down last night and played Freedom Fighters all night. Great game, lots of fun. Recruiting is a blast when you can get a squad of about 5 or 6 guys and send them in on a frontal assault then flank the Soviets and blow them to bits. Kind of short, but still recommended.

So poor...picked up Matrix then dug around in the 5.88 bin at Wal-Mart. Actually found a bunch I liked, including some admittedly awful guilty pleasures. Besides Wall Street, I picked up Harvard Man, Jackie Chan's First Strike, Suicide Kings (Jay Mohr's the shit), and Campus Man (80's schlock, but still campy fun). I'm still waiting for the Battlestar Galactica set on October 21st. No way in hell I'll be able to afford it but the fact that they shaped the set case as a Cylon helmet makes it a must own.

I'm shocked they haven't made a "Kill Bill" reference yet... They've been trying to kill Bill all night long! And Lawler goes ahead and makes the reference to set all our minds at ease.

You know for once I can't WAIT to hear SKeith's recap of this RAW. Booking on speed AND Qualuudes at the same time!
-
Jericho protects the divas...Austin attacks them... Jericho gets the #1 diva on her side...showing further proof to linda that austin is crazy. It's simple booking that actually made sense for once. Holy shit Choken their booking actually TRIED to make sense for once! My hat's off to you and everyone else who called it. I didn't think they'd actually go that far for it. Aryan man arrives!

That's Collyer huh? Finally, a face to go with the EWR name. Needs to work on his lines if he wants to go to the big show and get squashed by Brock or Undertaker though.
