Mystery partner = that Aryan looking guy from a week or 2 ago.

OK I'm convinced. Gerwitz has ADD and can't concentrate on booking for more than 30 seconds without throwing someone else into a segment.

Tommy freakin' Dreamer!? He makes his monthly RAW appearance.

Yep Shawn I think the Marines could be considered the best at beating people up.

I would just like to throw in my vote for modded boxes. Bought mine from a friend and it has emulators for ALL the systems dating back to the original Nintendo, Atari Jaguar, etc. up to the Playstation and the GBA. Feel like playing ANY of the old Final Fantasies (including the Japanese only ones)? No problem. Any of the Metal Slugs? Sure thing. Plus I'm not a big fan of online gaming so the loss of Xbox Live isn't that great for me. Anyway, as for the question at hand, the games I've been playing the most on it are: Halo (I hate being the worst of my group of friends at it) D & D Legends (Yes it's a Dark Alliance clone but that's not a bad thing) Deathrow (I agree with NCJ, VASTLY underrated) BTVS: Chaos Bleeds (I didn't think I'd like it, I thought wrong) Otogi (Beautiful game, but kind of frustrating) Panzer Dragoon Orta and of course, Star Wars: KOTOR

I think its time for another anime thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Renegade's topic in Television & Film
OK I figure this is the most suitable place to put this, even though it's a question instead of a statement. Anybody know how many episodes of Macross Zero were made and released? The first two were saved on my friend's Xbox when I bought it so I checked them out, being a big fan of the original Macross series. Despite the differences in the story and the different animation style (computer as opposed to old school cel) I found it very enjoyable. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anymore (always getting old Macross series on Kazaa). Any help you could give me offhand would be appreciated. -
The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
I remember Joss and crew saying that they wanted a lighter tone this season after last season's constant doom and gloom. I don't mind it though since I always like the incongruity of a show about vampires, supernatural, death, and evil being almost comedic. I still want to see the mailboy go lucha on someone though. Angel's pseudo-Sliced Bread #2 was a good start. -
Yeah I've whacked him out of Sin Harvest several times. I think (it's been a while so I might be off) Sora's about 65-70 when I finished the game. I tried Seph. on a whim and got whacked around a few times. Then I read that you could cut off the Sin Harvest so it basically became a contest of me flying around and trying to land behind him after he tries hitting me or going for Harvest. I actually managed to get about 2 bars off him (man it takes forever to get his health bar moving) before I ran out of elixirs and got nailed. As for the Ice Titan, I just never got the knack for whacking those icicles back at him. I either swing to early of shoot them off in the wrong direction. I actually am going to go back and try expert one of these days. Just amatter of getting the time and energy together.

1) I actually remember the show creators mentioning Bruce Wayne before season 2. Originally they were going to have Bruce show up as a dark and brooding friend of Lex. I guess they got a little tied up in the storylines last season but yeah it'd be cool. 2) Well they've mentioned the Daily Planet often enough lately and even had a couple of establishing shots of the building where it would be possible. Maybe Chloe still writes for the Daily Planet every once in a while and Perry is some big shot field reporter moving his way up the ladder. It could easily be worked in. 3) On one hand Lois just showing up and them foreshadowing everything would be cool (see the "Fortress of Solitude" comment about the hayloft from season 1). On the other hand Chloe seems to fill the Lois role rather nicely. I suppose as long as it's something like what you'd like (one shot deal, etc.) there's not a real big deal.

Kingdom Hearts isn't terribly difficult on the normal difficulty UNLESS you do the optional boss fights. Sorry for spoilers but it's just names so no one should be hurt. I never did beat Phantom, Kurt Zisa was a pain in the ass, the Ice Titan got on my nerves after about 10 attempts, and don't even try Sephiroth unless you like getting whacked by something called "Sin Harvest" and spanked like a naughty 8 year old. I'm currently messing around on a newly purchased modded XBox (from a friend). Trying to become a Halo marksman (I play with guys who are nationally ranked and will 3 shot you to death with the pistol) and having a ton of fun with Deathrow. I highly recommed it despite occassional camera problems. Still a blast to play and any game that uses "Fuck" and it's many permutations gets bonus points from me. I still plan on getting Rogue Squadron 3 and saving/returning Gladius and SSX 3 on my XBox. After that nothing until Halo 2.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Conspiracy_Victim replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Just a quick thought on Spike's whole physical presence thing. Since he's apparently not a true ghost I'm sure Joss can mess around with "the rules" if he wants and maybe this is one of them. Spike is able to come into contact with things (Angel's chair, the car seat, etc.) when he wants to and concentrates on it. Otherwise he's insubstatial and able to pass through walls. Hence when he went through Angel's desk it happened because he didn't think about it. Otherwise he would have crashed onto it. Kind of a flexible substantialism, if you will. I doubt Joss will think too much about it, but it's a possibility. BTW I marked for Angel staring at the mail guy with the lucha mask. It's funny how people are noticing it but not saying anything about it. So far I guess it's regarded as odd, but simply one more wierd thing about W&H. -
It comes out next week?? Crap, and me so poor I can't afford a free glass of water. I'll scrape it together somehow.

Actually has a release date of Nov. 18 according to Gamespot. Here's hoping it sticks to the deadline, although I don't have any damn money to buy it anyway.

Saving Private Ryan? oh please What was nominated that year, because a weak year for Oscar caliber films is the only way SPR was the best movie that year. SPR was a mediocre war movie with a great 20 minute opening sequence. I think the fact that Shakespeare in Love beat it out because Miramax rereleased it a month before votes were due in and invited a bunch of critics with votes to screenings with gift bags and such is what put it over the top for me. To me, SPR deserved it that year. Sorry Lord but I thought Thin Red Line sucked. The enlisted men were almost indistiguishable as characters and they totally marketed it as a war epic, not a film where a guy spends 7 minutes pondering the beauty and significance of a leaf. It's the only time in memory my dad was willing to walk out of a theater before the movie was over.

Hmm..interesting move by the Rockets. Traded Glen Rice and draft considerations (reported differently in several different sources, seems to be a protected 1st and at least a 2nd) to Utah for Don Amechi and a 2nd, possibly another 2nd, and a $6.5 million trade exception. Then with the last of their Middle Class Exception (MCE) they sign Jimmy Jackson. Well, this trade if nothing else makes Cato and his contract expendable possibly. Cato and/or Mobley and the trade exception could equal a pretty good player. I guess we'll have to see if anything else goes down in the next few days, although the trade exception is good all the way until this time next year.

Week 4 Pick Results for Braves/kkk contests
Conspiracy_Victim replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
I'm right there with you. He's my opponent's starting QB in fantasy this week. Raise your hands if you think Gus would throw for 4 TD's and 267 yards this week! *crickets chirping* Didn't think so. Shit he's also got Charles Rogers and Ashley Lelie. I'm in trouble. C'mon LT and Charlie Garner, get me some points! -
Week 4 Pick Results for Braves/kkk contests
Conspiracy_Victim replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
I don't want to sound malicious, but I'm curious, why did so many people lock the Jaguars and a rookie QB on the road against the Texans? I know Houston had had a couple bad games against good teams, but Jacksonville is not a good team. And with a couple of good CBs in Aaron Glenn and Marcus Coleman (and, as it turned out, Kenny Wright who knew?) Leftwich would figure to have a difficult day. Anyway, just curious. -
