Folks, where was Rhyno when he went out? I may be hazy but hadn't he just get finished in the Hardcore belt chase with (among others) Raven, Test, and Big Show? Then the Invasion where he played Heyman and Steph's attack dog until the injury. He had some high profile matches (Y2J/Rock vs. Booker and Rhyno, for example) but he didn't seem to be an upper card, main eventer wrestler. On the cusp, but not quite there. Now, the main event scene is a bit clogged with guys that have come in since his injury (Brock, Hogan, maybe Rock in the short term). This will be a nice little upper midcard placeholder for him until someone leaves. Then he can go either face or heel and get the push to the upper card. Until then, enjoy watching Rhyno destroy cruisers and probably Shannon. I would like to see Rhyno/Brock though. Don't let either one talk, just go out there and beat the shit out of each other.

Good call Zack. I can see Matt coming out with the CW belt on, Kidman comes out wanting his rematch. Matt says, "Sure, but you gotta beat my MF'er first!" Billy, thinking it's Shannon, quickly agrees. But, Rhyno comes out of the crowd, gores him through the ringpost and first several rows of the crowd, and pind him in 30 seconds. Good television right there.

I love Vice City's soundtrack (big 80's fan) but I actually sometimes just jack a car and listen to the public radio and talk show stations. That NPR rip off is one of the funniest things I've heard in a game.

OK so we've got Rikku the mage of some kind (dark?), Paine the..samurai? And Yuna the...uhhh...got me. Kinda looks like a dark mage, but not really sure.

I thought their little whatever it was was pretty funny in a "what the hell" sorta way. "They're Los Guerreros! They lie, cheat, and steal! Viva la Raza!" I just hope it doesn't herald the arrival of Konnan *shudder*. Any talking about "cheddar" or "salad tossing" and I change channels. It kinda looked like they're being painted as way over the top heels. So over the top that everyone plays along with it, gets a good laugh at the antics, and they're pseudo-babyfaces. All about the shades of gray.

Good lord... "In the beginning, there was Angel in LA, and it was good. Then he found a demon helper and Cordy, and he saw that it was very good." I couldn't even begin to piece all this together from the beginning.

I can see it now. "I may not be a hu-man but I know what love is Buf-fay." Yeah it seems more like Buffy just wants someone to be comfortable with more than to be in love with. That's why she said that she wasn't ready for Spike to go. Still though, Spike has been my favorite character since his debut, and I REALLY hope Joss doesn't kill him off in some suitably heroic fashion.

In the series finale didn't they eventually reveal to the whole world the existence of Immortals, Watchers, the whole deal? I seem to remember it ending with Duncan, Methos, and Amanda standing somewhere (I'm thinking atop the Eiffel Tower?) talking about how the world is going to change or something like that. If that's so I kind of remember the episodes. Yeah definitely not their best. Still, it let the show end on an optimistic note rather than Duncan surrounded by his friends bodies or something.

Yeah I was wondering about the wording they used as well. Calling her the Last Protector seems to indicate that should they win (I'll be an optimist) they find a way to close the Hellmouth. Then Buffy, as some sort of reward or something, gets to retire while Faith (pretty please) takes over the mantle as full time Slayer. In other words, I agree with LaParka. As for tonight, seeing Spike with the leather coat and laughing as he fights the demon made me hope that Spike won't become Mr. Wuss for the rest of the year. Since he's got a soul I guess Spike won't turn full on bad, just sinister. Then he and Woods can duke it out and end their little story arc. Also, not enough Andrew, although they seem to rectify that next week. His little presentation with the board was great. "I made it myself!"

OK thanks DrTom. After writing it I looked her up on IMDB and saw what episode it was and that she DID appear in season 6 in some capacity. So, I'm not completely senile yet. By the way, they have some great Methos lines in the "memorable quotes" section. Never realized that he did get just about all the really good one-liners. Edit: I can't believe this was my 500th post and it wasn't even about wrestling! I feel so..unfulfilled somehow.

I didn't mind them killing her. Like many I thought she was pretty decent eye candy (not as good as Elizabeth Gracen, but not bad), but annoying as hell. Then, they go and bring her back, IIRC, when some Immortal uses plastic surgery to make a new Tessa to distract Richie and Duncan, or something like that. By that point (I think it was season 6) the show was starting to drag for me. But then, I'm a huge Lambert mark so I always preferred Connor to Duncan. As a matter of fact, I like Methos more than Duncan too. Anyone who can joke about being one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (Death, as a matter of fact) and MEAN it is ok in my book.

Good lord I loved that movie, and still do. The scene in the neighborhood is priceless. I mean, the family has their little Norman Rockwell scene with the Christmas tree w/presents and sitting down to a perfect Christmas Eve dinner then BOOOOOOM! Everything turns to flaming crap! No rhyme, no reason, just random acts of violence. Digging Norris out of the wetlands, gtetting all the terrorists into ONE BUILDING, then having Chuck go in there and single handedly handing this highly trained terrorist group their collective ass (especially blowing up, nay disintegrating, the leader with a bazooka in slow motion) with a sneer on his face and a one liner in his heart brings a warm fuzzy to my being. Delta Force was good, but this is the shining pinnacle of Mr. Norris cinematic career.

Is that the match with Lance delivering the Erik Watts dropkick level chair shots? If so yeah the match was pretty good. Must have been fun to have Paul tell them before the match, "Go out there and just do your thing for 10-15 minutes or so and it'll be great!"

I personally loved the first one. Johnny Cage was just enough of a smartass, Raiden was the man (Christpher Lambert rules it all) and Talisa Sato and Bridgette Wilson provided enough of a babe factor (although Cameron Diaz was originally cast as Sonya, think about THAT one). Throw in a couple pretty kickass fights in Cage/Scorpion and Liu Kang/Reptile and you end up with an above average video game movie (apart from the bad Goro). The second was..well..WOW was it bad. Killing off Cage was unforgiveable (even though they did it in the game too ( to the decision on both counts), Raiden was bad, and the bad guys were pretty much awful. I mean, at least in 1 you had Kano to despise before he got punked out. Here, you had Brian "I was Cyborg dammit" Thompson as Shao Kahn. By the way, where the hell was Stryker? I wanted to see him blow someone up dammit! Well, I guess I'll wait and see how 3 will turn out. Yep, Mortal Kombat: Domination is in preproduction. It's got the same woman from 2 playing Sonya (Sandra Hess), the same guy back as Jax (Lynn Williams aka American Gladiators' Sabre), and Robin Shou back as Liu Kang. Plus, they'll have Kenshi, baby! I'll give it a wait and see attitude. P.S. Dude, the guy who's playing Kenshi was a Power Ranger! He was the "Quantum Ranger", whoever that was. Discuss if you wish.

Growing Pains. Episode "Second Chance". Drunk Driving. Dead Chandler (okay, so Matthew Perry's character's name is Sandy). 'Nuff said.

I thought it was marginally humorous until the whole "coming out" thing. Then not even Bruce Campbell (aka THE MAN) could save it. EVERY EPISODE became about Ellen's struggle to be accepted as a gay woman. It sounded like a friggin after school special put on repeat.

OK bad jokes aside I haven't heard too many complimentary things about chocobo breeding in the past, let's hope they "adjusted" it a little. Other than random musings all I can say is, "How many of those extra things do you actually think will make it over the Pacific for us? Yeah, me neither."
