Yeah, level 8 is a big turning point. Boosting all your gear and adding to your custom equip is nice. I'm fully boosted and ready to go. Level 12 run stuffing DT ready to go do grunt work for another season.

We're in the process of going paperless with a new computer system and RF scanner system...after 23 years of using our current processes. The start dates have been pushed back constantly for two years now. My departments were supposed to go live May 19th, that's been pushed back to June 9th. The other areas that have started the new system back on March 24th STILL struggle badly. In other words, I feel your pain, my fellow warehouse worker! Did you get the memo about the new cover sheet for the TPS reports? I'll make sure that you go ahead and get a copy of it. Anybody know of a reputable 3rd party 360 repair place, preferably in or near Houston? I got the E74 error message so I suck it up, pay out the $107, and send it off to get repaired. I get it back today with a form letter saying that they didn't repair it because it "violated the limited warranty agreement". I call them up and I was told that they repair center found evidence of "tampering". Now, the only thing I've ever done to my machine is switch out my face plate so I'm understandably upset/pissed. I ask them what they're talking about, and the operator says that it'll take 24 to 48 hours to get the exact information from the service center for some reason. I'm more than willing to fight this as far as I can, but I guess I need to start finding alternatives if they keep stonewalling me.

The umps are having a rough time of it this year. BTW, after a very rough start, I'm beginning to see a method to Ed Wade's madness for the Astros. I'm still not sure that surrounding Roy Oswalt with a bunch of 3rd and 4th starters is a great idea, but the offense surely does seem to be coming around. Matsui's going to drive pitchers nuts (esp. with Bourne distracting them by stealing every base he can find), and Tajada is hitting like he didn't need to stick a needle in his ass for all those years.

Thirding Cowboy Bebop. I love the music and the characters are all great. You'd think that the characters are all rather stereotypical (hero, femme fatale, sidekick, kid hacker) but they actually take the time to establish their backstory so you see that they are more than what you expect. Did I mention I love the music? 'Cause I do.

Hey tek, if you like Excel Saga, find/buy/download Puny Puny Poemi. Hilarious, and probably even cruder than ES. They squeeze a lot into 2 episodes. Plus the DVD (and some downloads) include the commentary track by the English VAs. Good stuff. As for recs, I'm not a big horror fan sorry. Maybe something like Black Jack, even though it's not horror (I think)? Death Note? I don't know. I'm a sucker for the wacky harem comedies.
