Texans resigned Andre Davis to a 4 year deal. I'm glad they got the deal done, but it sounds like they overpaid. Sixteen million for a #3 receiver and kick returner, with $8 million guaranteed? Ugh. Still, good to have at least one potential weak point shored up. Now just a LT, a secondary, an every down RB, a center who can play more than 4 weeks without getting hurt, and maybe an LB or two and we'll be ready to go to camp.

Never Back Down I think it's called. Yeah it looks like crap. Who would have thought that the first real MMA movie would be about meathead teenagers. -
13 game actually. Nice performance by the Rockets last night. Sure it was the Wiz, but a 25 point win and holding the opponent to 69 points is still pretty impressive. Adelman played Deke for 23 minutes and he seemed to be able to handle it with little difficulty, but for a lot of the game the Rockets went Golden State lite, with the tallest guy being 6'9" and basically swarm the ball handler. Scola and Landry at the 4 and 5 might actually match up pretty well with the smaller teams, and it eliminates the problems the Rockets had with perimeter oriented teams (see last year's playoffs when Yao was stuck on Boozer). I'm still not terribly optimistic, but at least they aren't going to roll over and play dead.

Kennedy taps in 2 seconds. Again, I'm SHOCKED! Edit: At least he got a little bit back by hitting the Mic Check. -

The Garden popped loud for him also, as did Houston. Philly and the crowd last week, really booed him the most since he's been back. Yeah, but Philly boos just about everything so that's not that big of a deal. -

Well, I wonder who's going to take the pin in this match? One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just don't belong... -

I don't check the news thread, so I guess I'll ask. Are they using this as an excuse to write out Hornswoggle, or are they planning on a return for him? I don't really care either way, but I guess I'm curious. -

Kofi with the commercial build up? Nice. Any chance they could throw him in the MITB? I'm sure he could come up with something big off the ladder. -

I agree. Just look at this match. Blown spots, fans couldn't get involved. What a disaster. -

I'm interested to see how Floyd handles wrestling. I hope he's going to work out well. We know he's got the athleticism for it, and he can probably pick up the basics pretty quickly. I just don't know if a returning Big Show is who you want to stick a rookie in there with. -

Well obviously, if you believe the racial undertones of Episode I, it's because she was white a human among blacks weird slave animals. Or it could have just been that the humans and Gungans were two separate nations, hence the Gungans living underwater away from the humans with their own leader who felt secure enough to basically ignore Portman until she acted in an appeasing manner. That's what I always though it was. I'm going to blame Lucas for the fuzzy political structure on Naboo. -

Awesome, but unless they beef it up it's not going to be much of a song to play. Not much for the instruments to do for the first third of the song and the lyrics are pretty simple. Still going to be fun to hear though. -
They're going to bring some team like either the Jumping Bomb Angels or The Galmour Girls out of retirement to drop the titles properly.

It was a tough choice in going for an O-Lineman or for a Safety. With the ever growing need for a running game to get started in Houston in order to protect the QB, the thought of picking up someone on the OL became more clear. Put him on the left side, which has been an area of concern for the Texans since Boselli's injury/retirement and the number of sacks should go down. BOOOO!! j/k Really though Otah's got talent but I'm concerned about if he can fit in to the Denver zone blocking scheme Kubiak and Alex Gibbs are going to be installing. Haven't seen much of him, but 6'6" 340 isn't exactly the "smaller, more mobile" OLinemen the style usually calls for. Personally, I'm enamoured with the 2 RBs still on the board for the Texans, but hey, at least with this scenario the gaping hole at tackle the Texans have had since forever is hopefully filled in.

Can you imagine Malibu getting interviewed by Hogan? Might set the world record for most uses of "Dude" and possibly "Hangin' and bangin'" in a TV segment.
