According to a new IGN article, "Paint it Black" is indeed a master track. Also found out that they couldn't find the master for "Cult of Personality", so Living Colour actually came in and rerecorded it (throwing in a guitar solo that is apparently a bitch on Expert). Finally, they revealed two new tracks: "Priestess" by Lay Down and the master recording of Pearl Jam's "Evenflow". I love the opening to Evenflow. it's going to be fun. Also have a couple of early gameplay videos. They're going for a more realistic appearance which I suppose works. I just prefer the more cartoony look of 1 and 2.

IIRC from one of the manuals/strat guides, Solid Snake is partly Japanese, actually. His "father" was a naturalized American of Japanese/British descent. Hmm, learn something new everyday. Solid still isn't quite as...Asian... as the cosplayer. He did a good job looking the part though. Although I have no interest in actually doing it, I'm curious as to what I could pull off. A 6'2" 290 lb white guy is kinda hard to cosplay, unless it's Zangief (and I ain't gettin' no mohawk).

Good Aeris, but the Asian Snake? Yeah, I just can't stretch my disbelief that much. Although it looks like Kojima (??) digs it.

Thrawn would work as an antagonist, but I always liked him actually. Had an answer for everything that was thrown at him, and even years after his death everyone's scared that he's going to return. THAT's respect Personally, I think they need a broader enemy than just Thrawn. Since I doubt they'd want to go TOO far ahead in the timeline, say that the Ssi-ruuk came back at some point after their defeat at Bakura. Not just an expedition fleet, but a full scale invasion. That way you can make it shoot em up or a strategy type game like Empire at War (the game would start after they had already conquered a few important planets on the outskirts of the galaxy). Shoot, you could even do what Rebel Assault didn't succeed at and try to combine aerial/space warfare with ground combat.

Ain't no cosplay like a Japanese girl cosplay. Although just from an aesthetic viewpoint I like the Nightmare. Must have put a lot of work into that one. The Cammy is good as well. Strictly speaking from an accuracy viewpoint of course. The small round glasses from the Japanese Cammy a couple pages back would've capped the image, but I'm not complaining. Whenever I need a smile and proof that God hisself has blessed us, all I need to do is peek in on this thread. Happy times.

That's what I was thinking (at least, something along those lines). When he was talking to Hiro about his destiny and pulled the sword out of the scabbard, they showed a reflection that wasn't (I believe) George Takei. That's when I started thinking that he actually was Kensei.

On another board I frequent the people in the wrestling thread LOVED the Boris Alexiev promo vid that's on YouTube, so maybe he's over because of that. And frankly that was a good promo, now all we need is for Santino to bust out the takedowns and submissions. And Russian accent, of course. The one where he's talking about destroying people while they play highlights of him? That's a nice one. He actually seems scary in it.
