It still took Edge longer than it took Diesel to win the belt. Edit: If Kennedy hadn't busted up his arm, would they have hotshotted the belt to an unproven commodity like him? Had him playing up waiting until WM then come out and vulture the busted up champ, or would they have gone ahead and given the belt to someone like a Batista and built to either Kennedy/Batista or waited until UT came back abd win the belt for UT/Kennedy? Or would they gone ahead and had him drop the shot to Edge with the promise of a huge build-up as a face later on for Edge/Kennedy?

This is a hell of a setup for the dick-heel finale.

Timmy, I hope there's a backstory behind that chokeslam. I can't even imagine how they convinced him to not only sell, but almost oversell (he nearly jumped out of her reach) a chokeslam from a 5 foot tall 90 pound Asian woman.

Well, other than the fact that he doesn't fill one of Houston's glaring needs (a legit starting PG or a banger of a 4), any ideas how to pull it off? He's not going to take the MLE just to return to Houston, and the Rockets don't have many appetizing contracts for a S&T (unless for some reason the Soincs REALLY want Juwon Howard). I'd gladly give up 1st round picks for him until the cows come home, but that can only get you so far.

The Houston Rag (or Chronicle, if you prefer) is still saying that Van Grumpy is planning on coming back, but the owner isn't sure if he wants him back A) at all or B) as coach. Who knows at this point what's going to happen.

Yeah, that's been my big concern since it was announced for the 360, and an IGN hands-on preview does say that the control system works, but that later on in the game it's hard as hell keeping up with the computer's actions because the controller doesn't work as well as the mouse/keyboard setup. I'll still give it a shot though, since I'm a sucker for C&C (although I like the Red Alert games more than the Tiberium games as a whole).

Personally, I'm getting C&C (actually, C&C and .Hack/GU pt. 2, but that wasn't one of your options). Spiderman games are pretty fun (I liked the inclusion of Black Cat in 2) but for some reason this one just screams "same old, same old" to me. I'll wait for the reviews. If they're positive I'll probably pick it up at some point.
