Man, the Ags have had a chance to build their lead here in the last minute. Can't believe Law missed the layup even with the challenge. Now Memphis gets the last shot. I hate this. My teams always seem to lose on the last shot. Having horrible flashbacks to last year's game vs. LSU.

ALMOST got EBA today, but went with Trauma Center instead. I'll probably pick it up before too long, even though I'm terrible at rhythm games. Portrait of Ruin was part of the package I got with the DS, so I didn't have any option. I'm a longtime Castlevania fan though so I'll probably enjoy it regardless. Might have to get Dawn of Sorrow when I get around to a GameStop. Thanks for the input.

Well, finally picked up a DS yesterday. So far I love it. Got some games for it (both Phoenix Wrights, Trauma Center, FFIII, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin) and been messing around with it. Playing through the first Phoenix Wright (first two cases are fairly easy, but the Steel Samurai case ramps it up quite a bit IMO) and the first chapter of Trauma Center (lots of fun, but man you can NOT mess up with the stylus). The opening cnimatic for FF made me realize how far the video game market has come when you consider what handheld games were like 20-25 years ago compared to now. Any other ideas for games? I was thinking Advance Wars (I like the more offbeat games), maybe even the next Pokemon iteration (yeah they're pretty brainless but they are time eaters).

As an Aggie fan, the Memphis game concerns me. Sure they play in the CUSA, but their record still speaks for itself. I really hope the Aggies don't try to get into a running contest with the Tigers, because I don't think they have the athletes for that (outside of Law and maybe Kirk). On the other hand, if they can draw Memphis into a half-court, physical type game (which Memphis will do) I think the Aggies will pull it out. Not a whole lot of teams will out-physical the Ags. Of course, this is dependant on the refs not calling touch fouls. A&M has a tendency to get in to foul trouble when they get a ref crew that calls a tight game.

No one else even in the running for Exec of the Year? I think you could make a credible case for Carroll Dawson. The man built a team that withstood injuries to it's two stars (again) and will go from 34 to 50 wins in the Western Conference. He got Battier for Gay and a handful of magic beans, got improved bench depth (Tsakilidis, Snyder Howard/Hayes [whichever isn't starting], Deke, etc.) and has built a team that doesn't air it's dirty laundry in public (if it had any. I haven't heard anything bad about this year's Rockets team). I'd say he's done as much as Colangelo this year.

Judging by the score, he was probably so bored he went off to a bar to watch the other games.

Something about Vince making a stupid match between Ace Steel (in Trump getup) vs. a Rosie lookalike. Trump called it stupid, Vince got upset, etc. etc. I'm not sure if it beats shampoo or spilled coffee as a reason to feud.

What gives you the idea that Triple H might bury the long(ish) haired blonde guy when he gets back from a leg injury? It's not like that's ever happened before. Apparently Edge is aware also seeing as he is doing all he can to avoid working with Triple H. I don't blame him. Working with Trips can be hazardous to your career.
