Going back a couple of years to Beltran and Delgado up until now (Alou, Burgos, possibly Rodriguez) it's like he's trying to corner the market on Hispanic players. What? In my opinion, you oughta stay away from the "clost but not quite" words. You do that, you're more likely to slip up and let one fly. Just stick to inarticulate screams of rage and you should do fine.

That's what I want to know. If they're allowed to swarm (i.e. it's just you and a swarm of the little bastards and someone shouts "Go!") it'll be difficult to last very long just due to overwhelming numbers (too many people have seen the Matrix's Burly Brawl with that "swing the kid like a weapon" stuff). If they attack "black ninja" style and come one at a time or in small groups of up to say, 4 or 5 until you drop from exhaustion it might make things more manageable and increase your KO numbers. I thought about this too much.

Let's see. I actually don't have a ton of games (unemployment STILL sucks) but multiplayer wise I have.... Gears of War Call of Duty 2 Fight Night Round 3 Dead or Alive 4 (although I think I've played it like twice) Saint's Row Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Splinter Cell Double Agent (I need to get back to that one though)

Well, I've stopped the main plotline and started doing all the hunts and sidequests and I've found XII's version of the maddening chocobo race in X: the fishing. I swear to God, I was about ready to break my controller on the Upstream area, and the worst part is, I can't get past that section until I get an item I can ONLY get from fishing the area! It's pissing me off. I just had to vent.

Hey Bob, in most small towns around Texas, high school football isn't 'inane'. The town FNL is based on (Odessa, Texas) makes Dillon look laid back in comparison. The city lives for it's HS team. Seriously. I even played for a small private school in Houston and the parents there were bordering on fanatic about it. Just with less cursing. Then again, maybe you meant "insane" instead of "inane". In which case I totally agree.

Looks like that would be either Peavy or Jennings if it happens. Probably Jennings. Peavy's got a very reasonable contract (until 2009 IIRC) and would probably need a ton to get in trade. Jennings might be had for Burke (if the Astros want to trade him, although apparently they don't) and spare parts. If Pettitte goes to NY, look for the Astros to make a fast push for Schmidt. Apparently his contract demands aren't anything huge, and would fit in well with the Astros budget.
