even though the game is over, had he gotten the record in OT it should have had an asterix in it Give some love to the Juice, as he got his yards in a 14 game season. Jamal getting over 2,000 is cool, as hard as that is for me to say as a Bengals fan. Oh and at Paul Brown Stadium the axle of the Bengals bandwagon exploded. It was kind of embarassing as a shitload of "Bengals fans" were whining all day. Shit, I didn't like it either, but sometimes you just have to take the punch instead of crying, and these clowns who showed up for the last two games, will probably get better seats next year because they'll plunck down the PSL money. Sorry, small rant there.

I'd like to add Favre's consecutive games streak at QB and whoever has the consecutive games streak at all positions. And Jerry Rice is not around to pad his stats, it wouldn't matter anyway, as his stats are just out of anybody's league. It'll have to take somebody with the mixture of his caliber of talent, work ethic, and longetivity.

Looks like picking with my heart cost me.

If the Ducks would have won Game 7 and the Stanley Cup, you could've bet the farm that Game 6 would have made the list, with Kariya's heroics and whatnot.

I was watching the Flair DVD today, and in one of the features it has a Steamboat interview talking about how Flair's last shot is at Wrestle War, then Steamboat has to "move on". So my question was in Steamboat's 2 1/2 month title reign, did Steamboat defend the title against anyone else besides Flair? Thanks

Well, I guess Mr. Lazy will have to use Mr. Searchy, thanks though for the tip! What fourm was it in? I can't find it now.

Well the ACC will enjoy the pre-season rankings and September and October, but will lose out on their investment on VT in November-January. It's funny I just left my room to check out to see if the game was still on right when they were lining up for the kick, and sadly I stuck around for about 2 minutes to see if a fight broke out!

Wow, there are some craptastic games this week. NY Jets 16 points Buffalo at New England - New England Seattle at San Francisco - Seattle Philadelphia at Washington - Philadelphia Chicago at Kansas City - Kansas City Cleveland at Cincinnati - Cincinnati Dallas at New Orleans - Dallas Indianapolis at Houston - Indianapolis Jacksonville at Atlanta - Jacksonville N.Y. Jets at Miami - Miami St. Louis at Detroit - St. Louis Tampa Bay at Tennessee - Tennessee Carolina at N.Y. Giants - Carolina Minnesota at Arizona - Minnesota Denver at Green Bay - Green Bay Oakland at San Diego - San Diego Pittsburgh at Baltimore - Pittsburgh Wow, my reserves may only get 8 out of 16 games this week.

I'll give this a shot, but I may get the order wrong. 10. Steelers v. Titans (AFC Divisional Playoff) 9. Tennessee v. UConn (Reg. Season w/Turasi HT buzzer beater, I really do not care for women's sports, but from the video package the game looked great) 8. Colts v. Buccaneers (MNF comeback) 7. Arizona v. Gonzaga (2nd Round NCAA Tourney 2OT) 6. Andy Roddick v. Younes El Anouyi (This was a great match, but I am a tennis nut) 5. Anaheim v. Dallas (Game 1, 5OT) 4. Giants v. 49ers (NFC Wild Card) 3. LLWS game Texas v. Massachusetts 2. Miami (FL) v. Ohio State (Nat'l Title Game) 1. MLB Playoff package Overall good picks, the number one choice was a cop out, but there were tons of great games. And now my main gripe, as a huge Ohio State fan, I understand the controversial call, but they didn't even mention in the Giants-49ers game how the refs blew the call at the end of that game. Quit hating on the Buckeyes damnit!

I believe you gotta get permission from a coach to participate in spring drills. But since they may not be able to "coach" at that point of the year, just find out where it takes place and see if they need an extra person, help set shit up, just be useful and I'm sure they'll help you out.

I didn't see the MC Bowl, so if the color guy already said it I'm sorry, but yeah I heard that during the BGSU-OSU game because they were talking about how she was a track star at OSU. Those kids are gonna be quick! This Cal-VT is great, and the missed FG before the half may have been the best kick of the season.

Just focus on maintaining or improving each time, like someone said before about not trying to overdo it right away. Rome wasn't built in a day. In high school, tennis and baseball were the same season (spring), I chose tennis because I knew going in I'd be one of the top three versus having to wait a year or two to crack varsity in baseball. But it's really not a regret, just wish the seasons were different.

Maybe LaVar can sign with the NFL's merchandising department now, since he's overpaid for a LB, his name and likeness can be "underpaid".

I'm not even sold that Orton will be in the Rumble. Have an I-C title match, with the false finish like Shamrock-Rock '98. Of course Rock was in that Rumble too. And I haven't seen Raw in three weeks, so if he's already been announced disregard all of this.

San Diego Chargers keeping Marty Schottenheimer
Gert T replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in Sports
While I don't think Marty would be leading them to Houston right now, the Chargers were shot in the off-season when they cut loose Seau and Harrison. I understand that the way the NFL's salary cap works these days it was just not plausible, but that D is wretched. So is the one minority coach that's going to be hired Dennis Green, Lovie Smith or Ted Cottrell? I think Smith has a good chance, and if Green wants to come back, he'll find a spot. -
NY Jets 13 points Atlanta at Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay Kansas City at Minnesota - Minnesota New England at N.Y. Jets - New England Baltimore at Cleveland - Baltimore (C'mon Browns, it'll be the only time I root for you) Cincinnati at St. Louis - St. Louis Detroit at Carolina - Carolina Miami at Buffalo - Miami New Orleans at Jacksonville - Jacksonville N.Y. Giants at Dallas - Dallas (This one's going to be tough, as the Giants will be fired up) Tennessee at Houston - Tennessee Washington at Chicago - Chicago San Diego at Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh Arizona at Seattle - Seattle San Francisco at Philadelphia - Philadelphia Denver at Indianapolis - Indianapolis Green Bay at Oakland - Green Bay

One day I am expecting Marvin to go all Rod Tidwell on the field for like 15 minutes then grab a camera and just scream "DO ANY OF YOU REALISE HOW FUCKING GOOD I AM!!! I AM FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!" And I wouldn't mind at all. That would be the greatest celebration ever.

Was Fassel a GM too? Because if not then it definetely is not his fault as whoever the GM is could not get playmakers who could get IN to the end zone. I got a feeling this Giants team is going to be bad for the next two years. Like they were saying on Sunday night, that front seven is aging and if they just slash and cut the waste, they'll be in cap purgatory from cap hits even longer. Fassel should take Tiki's hands as a memento of his job.

I agree. Sure maybe he can't bring it in the ring, but the build has been good. It's a simple reason to feud. One man broke the other's neck.

Obviously New Orleans winning their last 2 is paramount in getting to the playoffs, but who has the tiebreakers if Dallas, Seattle, New Orleans, Minnesota, or Green Bay finish 9-7? (Obviously one has to win the NFC North, and if they're tied Minnesota gets the tiebreaker)

If anyone's near a TV, go turn it to that Missouri-Gonzaga game, going to OT, and even since the second half this game has been unreal, although I think about 5 guys will foul out in OT.

Flyers, that's a pretty sweet jersey.

1981 Dodge Aries K Car Split pea soup green (shit you not) It had an 8 track player in it, the AC was dead, and heating in the winter as well as de-froster was "questionable". We had to drive it back to Ohio from North Dakota and the alternator blew in Iowa. My parents sent it to the glue factory behind my back, and I have a 95 Honda Accord now, but like you Damaramu, this car holds no candle to the K Car.

You're exactly right. It is going to come down to how much money it will take for Lennox to put his legacy on the line. Remember 10-15 years from now, not everyone will have seen the fight or remember Vitali was leading, just the visuals of the assualt on his face. If he gets enough zero's, Lennox will fight, and if he is motivated (Rahman re-match) he could dominate, but since he still has the title he may not be that motivated. And even then Vitali may be able to take it.
