Not that this would be easy, but I would like to see security try to keep fans off of the field until the visiting team has left the field, it seems like they did that during the OSU-Wisconsin game. I may be wrong, and obviously it is not easy for the crowd to be refrained, but that may be a good practice.

After working with budgets in athletic offices at the small college and high school level it makes me wonder if all of these moves are going to backfire in the long run, because travel costs are just going to kill the small sports.

Is there any positive thinking in Boston? Would Red Sox fans still be criticizing Grady Little even if you win the World Series?
-
He might, and I didn't see the show today, but I heard him on Kornheiser's radio show, he already said it was over, almost sounding like trying to give it the reverse jinx feel. Oh well, didn't work. And I don't mean to start any trouble, and if I'm wrong I apologize in advance, but Mik, were you busy with schoolwork when the Cubs were up 3-1?

Made Billy Beane a what? Your third post I believe Ripper hit the nail on the head, it is an VERY complex game, especially on offense, because on offense you rarely change your gameplan based on the defense. And as a Bengal fan the comment of getting timing down is true, as I have heard that for the past three years! While Lawyer Milloy and Randall Godfrey are good examples you also having to remember both have tremendous supporting casts ( Milloy: Winfield, Clements) ( Godfrey: Simmons, Brown)

We'll see in about 2 innings!

Are they delaying the start of Marlins-Cubs until this one is over, because this one probably won't end until after 8 as this inning is trudging along? And there may not be the lawlessness at Yankee Stadium that there was in Fenway, but all the garbage on the field makes for a nice visual.

Thanks, Ripper.

Its difficult to gauge since the persont that died was in the accident with him. If he had hit someone else, he would be gone for 3-5 without question, but in this case, he very well could get off. But now there is this big rawkus over Juran Boulden(Falcons Cornerback) getting prefrential treatment after his arrest and it is all over the news. Sadly, this might make the state go after heatley more to show that they aren't soft on atheletes with all this bad press they have now. Ripper what's the story on the Falcons' CB?

Rumors have it that Philip Fulmer voted Michigan 8th on his coaches poll ballot to try and shore up enough points for Nebraska.

Biggest problem with your scenario, you are assuming everything happens the same, who's to say Conine doesn't try to hit for contact and slap a single into the outfield scoring two runs knowing that there is two outs. Hey its shitty, it wasn't Game 7, Wood's a gamer. Just wait until tomorrow night to start bitching.
-
I am rooting for the Cubs to win tomorrow night, that way the next time the Cubs start out 0-10, beer at Harry Caray's will only be 3 cents instead of 45! As far as the play, 2 outs different story, if he reached over different story, but really do you think he was checking to see where Alou, considering where he was sitting?
-
I think your last line sizes it up nicely, both teams actually tried to make moves to get over this.

Shit, he could have avoided much jail time if he was drunk,............. Leonard Little?

Raven books his own stuff- It's quite obvious that this is Raven's doing since it mirrors other feuds he's been apart of. You know, i think that if Raven was booking his own stuff, He'd probably have the World Title and CM Punk wouldnt be his fucking cheerleader If Raven did that, would it make him any better than Jarrett since he's giving himself the world title? And since he's the #1 face he has no need to have the world title, that makes TNA stronger. With the DVD's, if the matches are uncut like announced, will that affect the quality?

No kidding. The Marlins don't even know who's starting game 6 for them...that isn't going to help anything. Prior + a rowdy Wrigley crowd should make for a very tough predicament for the Marlins. I'm just thankful Beckett won't pitch again in this series. Florida is seriously lucky they weren't swept in this series. Give them credit for bouncing back time and time again in game 1, but they were only one or two pitches away from losing that one, and thus the series. I like the Marlins, but I think the run is over. Obviously you never say never, but as I've said before, their chances aren't real good. Can you really be lucky to not be swept if you've won at least two games in a series? And really the Cubs are just as lucky that they won Game 3.

I'd like to add for NBA the Lakers-Rockets game that was the first matchup between Yao & Shaq, great game.

TPWW7, what's your Tiebreaker score, I can't believe the Jets outscored my point total..........IN ONE HALF!
-
Yeah, I look like a fool again, I swear that 75% of the TD's or big yard games my guys have is when they're sitting on the bench!
-
In the league I'm in we have 6 WR/TE's and we play 3. Here's my 6: Donald Driver Ashley Lelie Chris Chambers Darrell Jackson Jimmy Smith Johnnie Morton Of course last week Driver, Smith & Morton were on my bench so I sucked it up at points at WR last week. I am going with Driver & Jackson, but should I go with Chambers or Lelie as my third? Thanks for any help.
-
Thanks everybody, I am leaning more towards Lelie right now because besides Tom's reasoning, he seems to play very well at home as well. And I have a feeling Ricky will have another 40 carry game tomorrow. But I'm sure whichever three I pick, the other three will score TD's!
-
My question is who the hell is #4 after today? Does Chris Gamble play Cornerback or Intercept the Hook pass? I guess he found out not every route is that.

I just graduated, and our school only had one place to eat, and I didn't mind it except on weekends, where there were only two different types of foods they had for each meal, meaning you would see the same thing every two weeks, no wonder nobody ate there Saturdays.

What makes me mad about the second half Vern, is that Michigan really only beat Minnesota deep downfield once, and yet they kept giving up that damn screen pass, if they were only going to rush three or four, couldn't somebody have been watching Perry? Good lord there is a lot of rain on that field in Tallahassee.
