What's the deal with Estes? Didn't he have a good first two months? Then it seemed like he couldn't keep the ball in the park.

Will they show UT-Flair edited the "F" out?

So is WWE gonna promise nudity in the first 30 minutes of Raw the rest of the season, once the "I want him right at the beginning of the show" dies after about 4 weeks?

Jennifer Capriati, biggest chokejob ever! Anybody else who watched that match now that when Henin-Hardene broke her at 5-3 in the second set there was no way Capriati was winning the match? And they must get along great that after the 3+ hour match we got the "no eye contact handshake"!

Makes a Cubs fan mighty happy to see that one. Sure, Estes was his usual unimpressive self, but the Cards didn't exactly light him up, nor did their pitching (starting or relief) make things look too good, since they'd give up the lead almost as soon as they gained it. As not just a Cubs fan but a baseball fan, seeing this entire series brought a smile to my face. The Cards/Cubs rivalry has got to be one of the best in baseball right now and this series was just full of emotion, memorable moments, and just about everything you look for in a good series. The Cubs would've been happy to take three-of-five, but they ended up taking all but one (and even that one is a little questionable, since Alou's would be double was ruled foul). Who knows who'll come out with the Central title, but the Cubs impressed me quite a bit this week, as their bullpen really stepped up in the first game on Tuesday, they actually got offensive production when they needed it (especially today), and they just looked like a more solid team. Of course they still have their flaws (like the Cards do, or any other team for that matter), but they looked to be taking care of those flaws in this series. It could very well be back to normal tomorrow, but color me impressed with the outcome of this series. I wanted to do anything but break my TV while watching these games. It's what any great rivalry should be. I'll eat a little crow, its funny I didn't realize Tomko was pitching against Estes that day, when I saw that I knew runs would be scoring. I will say this I was impressed with the Cubs B-Pen as they caught a lot of shit from that last series in St. Louis. And Izzy blew a save against the AAA Reds tonight, the bullpen is pitching with ZERO confidence right now. They get behind in the count and are afraid to throw anything besides right down the pipes. And yeah I'm pretty sure the Central will come down to the last three days with all three teams.

All countries that harbor terriorists and have WMD's!

My second league looks a little better at least: QB: Culpepper, Green, Plummer RB: Portis, Lewis, Thomas, O. Smith WR: Owens, Horn, Porter, Chambers, Andre Johnson TE: Heap, Fauria K: Elam, Wilkins D: NY Giants, Buffalo

While I think Gary is a decent back, he is not as good as Denver's O Line made him look.

I like Agassi or Hewitt in the men's, although you are right, Roger is on a roll right now. I'd love to see Younes El Aynaoui pull off the upset and set up a re-match with Roddick in the semi's. I'll take Kim Clijsters on the women's side, although she may have a tough match against Mauriesmo.

I think Goldberg-HHH will go longer than 8 minutes. If we use our HHH conspiracy theories, HHH will want a long match that will bomb with the crowd sending the Goldberg title push spiraling down, for his big comeback.

Yeah I'm just worried about the solid but unspectacular core of my receivers, because I had T.O. & Burress last year. I may drop Morton for either Fauria or Dan Graham, it'd be at lot easier if only one was there on the Pats.

I think my team this year makes me cry. I'm in a 12 team two keeper league, and we throw out the TE postion, but you can use them at WR. QB: Donovan McNabb, Matt Hasselbeck, David Carr RB: Deuce McAllister, Tiki Barber, Jerome Bettis, Zack Crockett WR: Donald Driver, Ashley Lelie, Chris Chambers, Darrell Jackson, Jimmy Smith, Johnnie Morton K: Mike Vanderjagt, Matt Stover D: NY Giants, Jacksonville I'm scared of my WR's and receiver by committee is a pretty safe description.

Hey I'm a pretty big TNA fan and consistent viewer since July, I got about the first 6 PPV's, and then none until this summer. What would you guys say are the top 5 or so matches in TNA, (as it obviously seems AMW-XXX is a lock) Thanks a lot, just thinking about it leading up to the best matches PPV in two weeks.

Cool, its weird because they have Smith on the nfl.com depth chart. But the RB by committee could work because of Faulk's versatility. I was hoping you were online when I posted it originally because of your banners/sigs, but I just didn't remember your name, thanks man.

I was on OurLads and looking at depth charts last night and I saw Kevin Faulk as the starting HB and Antowain Smith as the backup. Is Faulk starting Sunday against the Bills?

Was the XXX-SAT match from earlier shows?

I have a strange feeling that lady will be my ex in about ten years. -
Right now, I'd love for John McKay? (first Bucs coach) to be alive and managing this Tigers team.

I think they were just doing it to sell more jersey's just like Oklahoma go retro yesterday.

I thought early in the day, nothing could scorch my eyes like the Illinois ultimate orange uni's. But those Oregon ones were just brutal, no amount of alcohol intake could make them look good!

Show was pretty good, and Cena easily owns now since he sported the CHAMBERS jersey! I wish Stephanie would have inserted herself into the triple threat match. Thought she would at least. I don't really mind Brock losing, if he ain't the champ, he doesn't have to win every match except for against Kurt.

Hey I was reading the Lance Storm post in WWE folder, and I've only seen Joe vs. Whitmer at Dayton on August 9th, and while I wasn't impressed with that match, I won't write him off after only one match. Maybe just because we were 2 1/2 hours into the card and it was roughly 110 degrees in the arena, but I just haven't seen what is so sweet about Joe.
-
Thanks Bob, I didn't want to be that guy hating on someone when I've only seen one match, which is the best card out of those dates?
