I think that Karl will bastardize his legacy (PPG Average) because he seems to be a lifer who will play forever.

Sadly, I will settle for 5-11 or 6-10 as long as they are competitve in all games, something that was sorely lacking in the 2002 season.

Karl has an ego, but don't forget he has a hella work ethic too. I think with just Kobe, Shaq & Karl he could still get plenty of shots. With GP too its hard to say, but if Karl & GP really want the title they will gel. Plus don't believe that Karl will only play two more years, he could average at least 15&6 until he is 45.

I have always been pissed by this, and after reading the Bonds 500-500 thread I wanted to bring this up. Why are baseball writers such assholes and holier-than-thou that they will not make someone a unanimous selection to the HOF? I know that the argument that "no one else has", "Ruth didn't have steroids", "the ball is juiced", "everyone in this era hits home runs", etc. Seriously though, if they look at the stats, why should someone who has the power and honor these writers do not vote for Bonds, by the time he's done he'll be at least in the top 3 in HR's, only 500-500, what 4-5 MVP's and a shitload of Gold Gloves (as you can see my research is getting worse). Do they make these votes public, because I want to hear the reasons why, and when Bonds gets with 97% of the vote because the media doesn't like Bonds enough to have the record for highest % of votes, it will certainly make the term "journalistic integrity" quite the oxymoron.

Yeah I think on some show on ESPN they were talking about how Carlton Fisk (I think), was not voted in his first year because many voters did not want more than three people inducted in the same year.

My problem isn't whether someone is unanimous, its just that fact that a voter will hold a grudge because they are unkind to media, or not perceived as good as the heroes of their youth. Sorry if that came of too pro-Bonds as I really don't care for the guy, but the stats are great.

Yeah it was GAB96 - it doesn't matter how many times you hear it, you just never see it coming. That match, while being pretty regular hardcore brawling now, still stands up today - the crowd was going insane and were all up ons. Yeah but unfortunately if the WWE edits WCW matches like they did on the Rey DVD, you wouldn't even get the loudest reaction, when Benoit & Arn started kicking the shit out of Sullivan.

If I were WWE, I would think they'll put Foley-HHH Hell In A Cell from No Way Out 2000 and the Foley tribute video on the Bad Blood DVD. I mean you put Foley on the card to try to get some heat, why not put more of him into the DVD, because I don't think Bad Blood will be flying off the shelves. (Especially after the upcoming Steiner Flop edit!)

NEVER compare him to Austin. What O'Haire 3:16 doesn't have a good ring to it? Seriously though, I bet it will hardly be mentioned, O'Haire and Piper were done with Eddy & Tajiri after that match anyway, so O'Haire will probably just float around and then attack someone after a match that will really lead to nothing. As for Vince, lets be honest, he's no saint, but when the cameras are rolling he's gets into his full character mode. Is he an ass in real life? It will be interesting litigation once somebody stands up to them and refuses to settle, but I guess when they throw at you that you might have to pay 150-10,000 dollars per song, some might want to settle. Not sure if those dollar amounts are right though.

It sucks how they edited out Jericho's middle finger but did not cut out Vince's. I always thought the Cena rap would not make it to the DVD because it used likenesses of Jay-Z and Ludacris.

I loved Bilas's comment on how Ridnour couldn't guard his chair. I was a little confused by the two picks of Memphis, but if JW believes he has his starting 5 fairly set I guess it isn't terrible to go after some role players.

I was wondering if anyone has stories at fitness places where things have disgusted you or pissed you off. Today I had to wait about 15 minutes to use a Lat machine as one guy sat on it for 15 minutes. And the reps he did were hard to describe, but instead of the full range of motion, his was about 5% of the motion. Of course he is ripped as hell, so I don't know how he does it, but it works. Its funny when its crowded because everybody flocks to the machine when he's done. Also today I was on the stair master and there was this hot girl next to me. About 2 minutes later a guy who was "roughly" 350 pounds plopped up next to her. That I don't give two shits about because I really don't like to socialize when doing heavy cardio, but he then proceeds to tell her the whole storyline of Bend it Like Beckham, which I WAS going to see later that night. And his mouth was moving a lot faster than the treadmill was (probably 2MPH). He even acknowledged to her that he usually does not go this long, but he was "feelin' it" today. And he was done less than 5 minutes after she was! I always feel guilty come Christmas time as I see all these people come in and throw their money away. I feel bad because the head manager talks about how great the club is, but will hardly give them the time of day once they sign on.

I like the guys who will show off their weight they are throwing around, and have just terrible form. "Its a good thing your back is get a hell of a workout on these bicep curls. And why the people who bench around 400 and are bending the bars have to use different ones that AREN'T bent every time!

My question is, couldn't a guilty party just say that they were unaware that this was happening, that someone else must have hacked into their files, I know lawsuits are not exactly like the justice system, but couldn't that be an out? And whoever said a 10 year old knowing copy & pasting can outsmart them is right.
