    Your Top Five Anything

I can live with Luger as number 1 because he had long reigns as both heel and face. As far as top crowd pops. I will skip honorable mention and say Undertaker's run-in at Judgment Day '00 has to make the list.

    All-Time NBA Roster Draft

Sorry about the delay, didn't think this many picks would roll out this quickly: Wes Unseld/F/C I like this pick mostly because Unseld was more concerned about grabbing rebounds and playing D, and that there will be scorers in later rounds.

Hold on, I will pick in 5 minutes, can't believe we made 30 some picks in less than two days.

Sorry, I view Oscar as more of a 2 guard, but I obviously wouldn't argue his credentials.

    All-Time NBA Roster Draft

I agree this thread is better than the early game. Basically although Payton may have been a little early for 29, without another pick until about 50, I was worried about the level of PG that would be left at that point. I like Payton over Kidd because of the defensive skills. Stockton v. Thomas................I am a HUGE Jazz fan, and I am biased. If I had a gun to my head I probably take Stockton for the assists and steals. But if people tell me they think Isiah is the 2nd best PG of all-time behind Magic I am not sure I could argue.

    Beware of Dog

I thought I had read something about the time that USA had to edit a lot of the Goldust-Undertaker stuff because of the "homosexual interactions".

    Beware of Dog

    1. Diana Smith, good or bad? Not good as in good looking, but does she do a good enough acting job to make a piss-poor angle at least somewhat believable? Or do you just say...wow, get off my television. I don't think she did a very good job, but I don't think it had a chance to succeed with her being aligned with the heel. Unless Shawn truly was hitting on her and was doing a double turn, it was doomed. 2. Double pin finishes, good or bad? Hmm, I spent 24.95, had to tune back in two days later to see the result, and then no conclusion. I hate the concept. 3. Yokozuna...why in the world is he employed at this point in time? Was there any possible benefit from having him around? Freak show. Plus name value, I had no beef with Yoko being around at the time. 4. If not for Marc Mero's injury later in the year, how far up the card could he have risen? Also, is he related to Little Richard? Hard to say because Ahmed was rising up the card and Sid and Warrior were yo-yoing up and down the card when the other wasn't there. 5. Goldust vs. Undertaker...who in the hell thought up this one? Do you like the matchup? Hate it? I actually liked it. Loved it as a transitional feud. The only part I didn't like was the gay overtones because it seemed like once they brought Marlena out and they were interacting, they could cut the "Is he or isn't he?" stuff. 6. Last one, would a strap match be a good gimmick to bring back into the current landscape of the WWE? Or is a bullrope match a perfectly acceptable alternative? I could live with as an ends to a feud or a second PPV match between competitors.

    The 2008 NFL Draft Thread.

I think Ryan goes to Atlanta because St. Louis stands pat and goes with Dorsey at #2. The real interesting part of the draft comes at #5 when KC picks. Before the Jared Allen trade, didn't everybody have KC picking Branden Albert. Now they can take Chris Long, Vernon Gholston or Sedrick Ellis and hope that either Albert, Chris Williams or Jeff Otah will fall to them at the #17 pick now.

    This Week in Baseball 3/30 - 4/6

You know there probably is not much reason to logically worry since I am a Cards fan, but does Brewers management think they should have used the 10 million dollars as toilet paper instead of paying Gagne. That was horrible and it was GAME ONE. I hope the Kaz Matsui comparison does not mean bad things for Fukudome's BUTT. The Pirates being the Pirates is just another rite of Spring. Anybody in the NY area, how bad was that rain today? Any chance that game could have been played in the evening?

Whats the first pay per view you saw live?

First ordered PPV, Starrcade 1994 (Who could resist ordering the Triple Main Event of Hogan-Beefcake, Sting/Avalanche and Mr.T/Sullivan First Live PPV: Great American Bash 1995
  21. I also loved the nWo beatdown when the Giant turned. I believe it was an 8 man tag between the Dungeon of Doom and the Horsemen. The heat was tremendous and the beatdown last for a long time.

    LOST

I thought it was a pretty good episode, still trying to piece together the future and the present, as weird as that sounds. I agree I didn't like the ending, it was a pretty important storyline and they devoted about 3 minutes to it. I agree, I dig Miles, and that was a great, subtle touch with the "your names not Kevin", line. Watching all of this go down really makes me want to know what or if anything goes down between Sayid and Desmond. So if the Oceanic 6 are (Jack, Kate, Sayid, Sun, Aaron & Hurley) we know that Jack and Sun were on the beach, Aaron & Hurley were with Locke, Kate is in limbo and Sayid is on the boat. It leads me to believe we know which side (Widmore v. Ben/Island) wins "this battle", but the how they are the 6, is still what intrigues me. Pardon my drunken ramblings, just watched the episode and curious to see others opinions.

NCAA BBall Tournament, 1st and 2nd Rounds

It made my heart smile to see teams like Clemson and ESPECIALLY Vandy who can do their work at home and get a high seed, bow out in the first round.

    College Hoops: 3/1/08 - 3/16/08

If Illinois State gets in I will not be happy. No signature wins, NONE. I wish Dayton would get a closer look by the committee, I am a Homer for them, and I am not sure they pass the eyeball test, but they have tremendous numbers, good wins, and dealt with injuries to multiple top players. I can live with the three bad losses argument.

    College Hoops: 3/1/08 - 3/16/08

If I am UK I dont know if I want my players playing twice in one day. And if I am Georgia, I sure as hell don't want my only chance to get in the NCAA tournament hinging on winning two games in the same day and then having to play another game on Sunday. I love hearing Gottlieb battle for the A-10, good stuff.
