Grant Hill out with an appendectomy? Sucks for him this was not the 'wearing down' that most people thought of, but it could be a blessing in disguise for the Suns and Hill for later in the season.
-
Today's early entries include Michigan WR Adrian Arrington and Clemson RB James Davis.

Eagles are what 18 or 19? Either way you go best player available. Offensive weapon if he helps, but don't reach too far.
-
Crow, crow crow crow, CROW! But seriously Herbie is an idiot. The bottom line is if a Big 10 team goes undefeated they will go to the BCS Title game, one or two losses? In the herd with everyone else.
-
I fail to believe that it would have been better. West Virginia and Ohio State looked like the exact same team before the Pitt game. I think its close tonight. I am a homer so I will take Ohio State, but I cannot really see it being a +7 point game either way unless there is a late score.

Kevin Smith, a RB from UCF has declared. I thought he had announced previously he was not coming out. Seems like a good move from the standpoint that he has had a TON of carries in 3 years. RB is going to easily be the deepest part of the draft, especially if Jones and Stewart both declare.

LT crying again? Look I got no vested interest in Chargers-Pats, but what generalization do you hear more; LT as a whiner or a Pats team as classless?

Hopefully it has a decent amount of AWA matches. Didn't he and Scott Hall team up there? Vs. Blue Blazer at WM V. Fun, short match. Both I-C Title wins. I haven't seen the Tito match, but they would be nice to have for historical value. SNME Battle Royal from 1991. Both Bret matches. (I know people may be mad that its on Harts DVD, but they were two of his better matches.) Savage-Perfect v. Flair-Ramon from SS 92. Hopefully War Games 1997, because to me that was his only notable match in WCW. Thats the thing with Hennig. I think the documentary and vignettes will be good, but I can't think of a dozen matches that makes me think I WANT this DVD. That said, with the right mix of everything it could be a good one.

The Hardy's one interests me in the fact that the documentary part will be interesting, at least if the WWE lets it be. Best of Starrcade I would settle for it done like the Flair DVD where they have the people talk about it briefly before the matches. I don't think it was a big enough event to warrant a long doc.

Hey did you get my PMed picks KKK? Just wondering because it wasn't in my "sent items" folder.
-
So if all of those are true, the non-PPV DVD's consist of: Stone Cold Steve Austin Triple H The Hardys The Rock Best of Starrcade Mr. Perfect Hell In A Cell Edge Macho Man Sting Well done WWE, you will take a lot of people's money this year, as I can honestly say that each one interests me a least enough to think about purchasing it.

I agree, its one of 32 unique jobs, so somebody will be happy to take it, but I think they will lose some candidates because of it.

Another good win by the Hornets over GS last night, their 5th straight. If they stay healthy (which it looks like they will) they make the Western Conference playoffs even more of a battle.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Gert T replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
It is sad that over half a million has to be spent to decide this. -
I don't know with the NFL draft it is tough. I think some of these guys are just tired of playing without pay and they think one year of pratice squad pay ($64,000) is worth it and the league minimum is around $225,000 correct. But people are right that not everyone has player's best interests at heart.
-
Early entries from today include Texas RB Jamal Charles and Florida DE Derrick Harvey.
-
I agree 2Gold, I think he will go as the 5th QB after Henne, unless somebody absolutely loves him. Buzz around him kind of reminds me of Trent Edwards last year. I think he could go late 2nd round.
-
I think its possible the Panthers go with Baker or Clady in the first round.
-
Just watched Judgment Day 2002 while sifting through the DVD collection. Its amazing how many gimmick matches the WWE threw in there. Hell In A Cell Hair v. Hair Handicap Match Tag Match w/Manager wrestling Mystery Tag Partner Match "One Night Only" Cornermen to overshadow Womens match But all in all, a fun little card.
-
I just meant they have two serviceable QB's thats all. As long as Jake's elbow is still attached he will be the starter.
-
Hmm, you're right. It's a no win situationn.

The Bears pick #14 now. Here's the 13 teams ahead of them. 1. Miami (Anything is possible, but I would be shocked if they went QB) 2. St. Louis (Just signed the Bulge to huge deal in '06) 3. Atlanta * (Possibility much to Ripper's delight) 4. Oakland * (Russell #1 last year) 5. Kansas City * (This is a long shot because they have too many holes to fill) 6. NY Jets (Too many holes and I think they will stick with Clemens longer) 7. New England (Going defense or trade) 8. Baltimore (This is a possibility with McNair retiring) 9. Cincinnati (Carson Palmer) 10. New Orleans (Drew Brees) 11. Buffalo (They are pretty excited about Trent Edwards in Buffalo) 12. Denver (Jay Cutler) 13. Carolina (With Delhomme coming back and Matt Moore's play, they will not go QB here) So realistically I think -maybe- two teams take a QB ahead of the Bears. And I think if Atlanta wins the coin flip for #3 they look to address other needs.
-
I am rooting for Washington just so I don't have to see Hasselbeck's coin flip prediction played over and OVER again next week.
-
He's a big guy, 6'6 I believe. And I am pretty sure he transferred from Pittsburgh when Palko was the starting QB there. Led Delaware to a 1-AA title and a Finals appearance this year. Gotta think he will be the 4th QB taken this year behind Ryan, Woodson and Brohm. Brennan's stock I think took a Troy Smith level dive last night.
-
The coin flip between Atlanta, Kansas City and Oakland will determine picks 3-5. Oakland can get no lower than the 4th pick since KC finished ahead of them in the AFC West.
