Is this why no new episode is On Demand?

Jefferson Keane was a good character. His scenes with his brother towards the excution were also good ones. If alive during the riot, I bet he reverts to his old ways only to survive. I wonder if AAA (Adebeisi) was supposed to take off as well as he did or received such great reviews that they centered more of the show around him?

I am SHOCKED that the producers of Oz did not send the truck driver who fell asleep on the road that caused the bus to swerve off of the road at the start of S5 to Oz. In fact with all the shit they did in Seasons 5 & 6, I don't know how they didn't do it.

That was one hell of a baseball game. Great game Perez, great game Suppan. I don't think I've ever been as quiet and not fuming after a catch or great play that goes against my team, but it was just that great of a catch by Chavez. About the strikeouts in the 9th, Cliff Floyd watched the whole game right? The home plate ump was calling strikes all night on both teams.

No need to echo the statements about the Schillinger-Winthrop scene, yeah unnecessary. Donald Groves was a GREAT character because everyone knew how crazy he was. I wasn't opposed to Said dying because it continued the storyline of Arif being an inept leader, but for someone who was a backbone of the show, it was an incredibly weak way to kill him off.

Jason X, you are spot on with your thoughts on Alvarez and O'Reilly. The fact that Alvarez was put back in Gen Pop after gouging out the C.O.'s and then killed The Missing Link in S4, and still was released back at the start of S6. I liked the Ryan O'Reilly character, but did not like the fact that he could always duck the wrath of people. At one time or another every faction had beef with him. He should not have been able to survive that long. Hell, I love when he got the shit beat out of him in the first episode. Here's a question, what was your favorite flashback crime committed? Like I said earlier, I liked Cutler's. Buried a guy up to his head, and then ran him over with his motorcycle. Just hideous. I also liked Glen Shoupe's killing a guy by chucking a dart in the back of his neck.

Game 3 and Game 5 is one game? Maine did awesome tonight, as a Cards fan I was disgusted to see him get out of the first inning, its like you knew "damnit if the Mets score first, they are probably going to win tonight, Maine will settle down. Carpenter pitched well too tonight, just too bad he had to leave the game to be PH, but I understand the move down two runs. For Mets fans, it has to be optimistic to see Edmonds and Rolen reprising their role in the 2004 World Series (1-18 combined I believe). I hate to bash people on the team that I like, but these guys aren't even making productive outs. Game 7 should be fun tomorrow night.

You got the spolier tags because everyone stopped watching the show before the last episode. I LOVED Oz, of course like later the Sopranos & The Wire I never watched it live, all through On Demand. Its funny because my roommate kept telling me that it went downhill after Season 4 and outright ridiculous in Season 6. He was right. I agree about the series finale, and the last season in general. I'm technologically sound so I'll skip some lines, but here's who I can remember were killed in Season 6. Augustus Hill (Technically S5 death, but we don't find out until S6. And why is it the Italian who did it in front of everybody, still in Em City in S6. What because he tried to kill Redding but got Hill instead he got a hall pass? Beecher's Dad (C.O. was paid off, so I'll overlook the fact that someone is allowed to walk by himself in a max prison) Timmy Kirk (So over the top and outlandish, I enjoyed it) Franklin Winthrop (Who knew he loved the cock that much?) Kareem Said (Once again, drunk or not, how does the gun get into Oz, Idzik's reasoning equally a reach.) Hernandez (I'm cool with that death, nurses have done this in prisons before) Enrique Morales (See above, didn't think he needed to die, as a leader you'd think he'd be more untouchable) Peter Schbetta (His death would have meant more if he wasn't simply brought back after three years to be killed.) Mayor Loewen (Eh, conspiracy stuff.) Jaz Hoyt (I liked his because he knew that if he ratted out what happened to Sideshow Luke he be killed) Brownie Man (Yeah when watching On Demand, I had to hit pause and laugh hysterically that someone was on the show all of seven minutes. Was he Tom Fontana's son?) Warden Leo Glynn (Unnecessary, although it was fun to see Don't Fuck with Querns) Cyril O'Reilly (The problem with his death is I felt they should have done it in Episode 6, which in my opinion the last 20 minutes of the episode might have been some of the best of the series, (preparation for Cyril's execution).) Verne Schillinger (Black Lushus, you're right. I'm baffled as to how Schillinger would ever volunteer to be in a play) Wolfgang Cutler (Great character, horrendous crime to get to Oz. Would somebody really be stupid enough to allow someone to hang them, even if its better than getting "a blowjob by God"?) Chris Keller (I understand character wise it had to happen, for closure between him & Beecher) Omar White (Almost forgot about him. Watching Omar become John Nash, and figure out why he could not kill Idzik was humorous.) Throw in the 1 C.O. and 2 Aryan brothers who were killed by Keller's anthrax, that puts us at least 20 people in 8 episodes, and I probably forgot others. There were decent parts of S6, but my one gripe was that most of these men were in prison for a long time, that could have been enough closure, "these men will be in prison for a long time". Mix in a death or two.

Well she's getting pretty old, Kidman needs to get younger.

I am not impartial, but the refs bailed out Tampa on a Justin Smith sack, called it driving him into the ground. Worst call ever.

Well don't get me wrong, Im not impartial here, I'll be rooting for St. Louis, but if I'm the Mets, I'd like to think I can win ONE game in St. Louis. Tomorrow should be an interesting game with the exciting Perez-Reyes matchup.
-
Yeah its not like the Mets' bats didn't make the trip to St. Louis. That being said, I like the Cards chances to go back to New York with the series lead.
-
I think he wanted to see who he could get to release him as he gleaned information. That is interesting though to see what his interaction with Locke is in the future. Spike, the girls on my tennis team got mad at me when I said "see why Jin treats Sun so bad on the island?" Your comment was better, but probably would have got me in trouble!

I love Maggilo Rodriguez and I consider myself a longtime Tigers fan since I went out of my way to see them lose #120 to the Twins in '03! (Damn you Twins for clinching the division so early!)

I really feel Jack's pain too, but only because I am a Cardinals fan. Its funny though, Jack obviously has to do something "devious" for Ben to go home, but who would he go "home" to? His Dad is dead and his ex-wife wants nothing to do with him.

The website says he is doing a "short bit" in Jessup on his first serious adult charge. I'm guessing he doesn't come back until Season 5. And I think that this episode coming up this Sunday was the best one of the year so far.
-
I like how Season 4 of Oz was like an unofficial tryout for so many actors that are on the Wire now. Carver Herc Daniels Rawls Norman Wilson (Don't FUCK with Querns) I really dig Snoop after that opening scene to start Season 4.

I'll be the Third Amigo for the Cardinals fans. I think St. Louis wins this series in four or five. Yeah the month of September was embarassing, and their offense has a penchant for letting Pujols do all the work and everybody else taking October off, but I think this team will compete every game, and I think Carpenter has a slight edge over Peavy.
