I think the 8 o'clock one is a clip show actually, but I'll check the DVR. If you're recording the show, make sure to tape until 11:30 just in case, especially since people have not been getting the whole episode lately. I'm sure ABC will try to sell as many ads as possible Wednesday.

As a teacher in a high school setting, the problem I have with cell phones is text messages and students taking picture of others without their knowledge.

Is Yoakum pretty sweet in concert? I'd think it'd make for a pretty fun atmosphere.

I can't believe Omar Epps did not get the role as Blade. I heard he and Wesley Snipes look a lot alike.
-
Yes they did. I believe at different times though. Since the sickness that Rousseau was talking about did not seem to occur with anybody else in Season 2 (besides Shannon maybe?) is it possible that while drugged up they convince Rousseau to kill her crew? (Or was she not abducted and tested on while pregnant like Claire?)

Another thing that interested me after re-watching it was when Michael explained that he, Jack, Hurley, Kate & Sawyer could only go because they were the only ones who knew about them, when in fact so did Locke, Eko & Sayid (The ones still alive) So were those four on the list because they were bad people? And if so what is Jack & Hurley offense?

Perhaps Terry was mad he got tackled by two guys and all he got out of it was a jump ball.... And since the refs had let more transpire without blowing the whistle, I had no problem with it being a no call.

Metal Maniac check out lostlinks.net, they should have the preview up. Sayid's line of "I don't know, but we have one more night to figure it out" gave me goosebumps. Good stuff with Charlie, although I am concerned about his future as his character has come full circle, getting rid of the drugs. Might be time to die a noble death. I agree those questions may be answered, but vaguely. For all we know we may just see the plane's malfunctions in the cockpit and not actually what made it crash. Great scene with Michael & Walt, I'm sure he's still hated by most, but it let you sympathize with his character some.

Yeah if you're Dallas and you're told before the game that Duncan was going to go 11-11 in the 1st half and score 28 points and you'd still be tied they'd take it. But Dallas is still playing the game they want to play.

I too am looking forward to about four matches, which has to be a first for a brand only PPV. And the Taker-Khali match is going to be such a great train wreck.

I wonder why Eko wants to stop building the church, maybe because he is focused on pushing the button all the time. Funny they never really did explore Charlie's true reason for helping Eko did they?

Hey Okur had a pretty good season, he played great while AK-47 was injured. While I do think the TV networks do go overboard on showing celebrities, I do love how they kept showing Phoenix fans doing their LeBron imitation "chomping away" last night. Cena's Writer, I think you're right about latest game ever. I turned the TV on at about 12:45 hoping to catch the tail end of Inside the NBA and there were still three minutes left in regulation.

As long as they don't mess with the sweet Saturday Night Sci-Fi original movies time slot I'll be happy. Although nothing in those time slots goes over 2 **'s so maybe ECW will be a good fit.

I woke up with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter, needless to say I'm glad I did. I don't mean to pile on the refs, because I know it is popular as of late, but how bad does this "moving contact" (I refuse to call them screens) have to get. Elton Brand just blantantly floored (Barbosa/Diaw?) to free open Sam Cassell for that three towards the end of regulation. That was the example I remember the most, but it was happening for both teams tonight, and has been going on throughout most of these playoffs.

Sportscenter is an entertainment show. ESPN NEWS is the old school format. I know, not everybody gets ENews, but the bottom line is Dama, if people are watching ATH/PTI, The Best of Mike & Freakin' Mike at nights, they want the characters and commentary and not just the news. I don't mind the LeBron hype, because he is doing things that no NBA player at his age has ever done. Now does that mean I'll stop watching the NBA playoffs if they lose the next 2 games. No, but I understand the point of view of the networks and the leagues in general. Build up the individual for the league to blossom.

Curry Man, I'd be shocked if Kasey Keller did not start all of the Cup games for the USA. He started every meaningful Cup qualifying game since Brad Friedel retired. I think Adu was not selected because Bruce Arenas stuck to his guns of taking the best players and Adu was simply not one of them.......yet.

I heard "base" instead of barracks but the ferry stuff is spot-on. I think the ferry might be the "OMG" moment in the preview next week that has everybody all open-mouthed and shit. I was thinking the same thing that, the OMG moment may be another plane crashing/boat crashing or landing, since it appears they were on the beach. Rando dumb question: Earlier in the year Walt would appear and seemingly warn/advise the survivors about future events. Would he appear to anybody and warn them about Michael's intentions?
-
I've heard this before (The Henry Gale leader theory), it would be interesting, but I just don't think he'd put himself in that much danger. Granted with constant surveilance, I'm sure help could have been on the way, but I still think it would be too risky. I'm sure we'll see more of Libby in flashbacks on the last two episodes, to tie up what she was in the hospital.

The dream that Locke had of Eko falling was great. Especially with the symbolism of him waking up before he hit the ground. I agree that next week looks great, and should answer more questions for those impatient people. I wonder if Michael has a plan, or if it was merely a show of faith to whomever has Walt. And who was that bearded guy sleeping next to Eko, I haven't seen him for awhile.
-
Me too, but if I had to guess, I'd say its a Boone-esque vision (regarding what was in the preview). I have a question to ponder. When Locke was pounding on the hatch after Boone dies and said "I've given you everything" (obviously not word for word). Do you think Boone qualified as a "bad person" and that's why Locke saw him with a broken neck in his vision?

Chris Paul won Rookie of the Year today. Not a surprise, the only surprise though is that he got all but one vote. The other vote-getter. Deron Williams. As a diehard Jazz fan even I can say that was a joke. Paul had better stats across the board and played for a worse team. It could be argued that Williams wasn't even the second best rookie PG.

That's a whole lot of yellow for me not to be tempted to click on. I'll try to be strong. Unfortunately I read a newspaper article today, which talks about how in love Abrams is with the season finale, and then proceeds to give a small synopsis. While it gave no apparent spoilers for that episode, it certainly gave away some of the going-ons for this week. Oh well, I guess my fault for reading!

The Worst Wrestling Show of All-Time
Gert T replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in General Wrestling
My personal list: 3. King of the Ring 2002/Bad Blood 2004. I was at both of these shows live. The best part of KOTR 2002 was the Rock/Booker/Goldust skit. RVD/Jericho was OK, not good enough to offend Jericho. Flair/Eddie was crap, and UT v. HHH was a slow death, but not as slow of a death as...... Bad Blood 2004, with 50 minutes of slow death in the HBK/HHH Hell in The Cell match. It was better than '02, but I just wanted to vent about the HIAC match, and that the Columbus crowd was unfairly shit on by people on the Internet. HBK & HHH must have spent at least 15 of the 50 minutes laying on the mat. 2. Starrcade '94. Vader v. Hacksaw Jim Duggan for the U.S. Title may have been the best match of the night. Here's the whole card, keeping in mind Starrcade was WCW's big event. US Title Match: Duggan v. Vader Alex Wright v. Jean-Paul Levesque TV Title Match: Johnny B. Badd v. Arn Anderson (Honky Tonk Man walked) Nasty Boys v. Harlem Heat (I can't remember if this was for the tag titles, it didn't affect the match quality.) Mr. T v. Kevin Sullivan Sting v. Avalanche (John Tenta) WCW World Title Match: Hulk Hogan v. Brutus Beefcake 1. Road Wild '98. Not only was this PPV during WCW's late summer-early fall stretch where they obviously did not care about the PPV's. Your card. Meng v. Barbarian (The Faces of Fear Explode!) Public Enemy v. Alex Wright/Disco Inferno Saturn v. Raven v. Kanyon Rey Mysterio Jr. v. Psychosis Stevie Ray v. Chavo Guerrero Steve McMichael v. Brian Adams Chris Jericho v. Juventud Guerrera Battle Royal w/Goldberg, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Konnan, Curt Hennig, Sting, Scott Norton, Lex Luger & The Giant DDP & Jay Leno v. Hulk Hogan & Eric Bischoff Good thing Road Wild was on a Saturday Night because it seemed like a TBS show. I'm pretty sure that WCW only announced the Main Event, Battle Royal, Jericho/Juvi, and 3 Way Match before the PPV started. Oh well, I guess that makes me stupid for ordering it......
