    Hardcore Holly Illness Update

IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMNIT! Really though, if you do believe in karma, wish him a full recovery.

    2006 NFL Off-Season

Right now Reggie Bush is head and shoulders over everybody else. Reggie Bush has to run the ball. Vince Young's concerns: - Delivery (I don't think it's that big of an issue and certainly not as big as).... - Texas Spread Offense. I think he will initially struggle with this as well, he won't be able to see as much of the field to make checks. I'm still torn on which QB I would take, and I do think VY will be successful in the pros, but Reggie Bush is still head and shoulders above the rest. Can we start a NFL Draft thread here pretty soon?

    LOST

He's one of my favorite characters, but how much more will a second Eko flashback tell us, it seems to me it all got wrapped up mostly in his first one. (I look forward to people proving me wrong, and I'm sure when the episode happens, it will be cool.) As far as trying to avoid finding out who dies, I'll try my hardest too, although when the second season ends, I'd like to debate who you all think will live or die by the time the series ends. I thought it was interesting how the show decided what points to focus on from season 2 and what to omit.

    WCW's greatest matches DVD...

If it's just from November 1988 until the final Nitro, I'd have these matches: Steamboat-Flair (Clash 6) Sting-Muta (GAB '89; I don't know if this is their best match, its the only one of theirs I've seen) Flair-Funk (Clash 9) Sting-Flair (GAB '90; Huge moment at the time in WCW history) Doom-Anderson/Windham (Starrcade '90 Questionable pick, but I think it was a great brawl that should be highlighted) Sting/Luger-Steiners (Superbrawl I) Rhodes/Steamboat-Enforcers (Clash XVII) Pillman-Liger (Superbrawl II) Sting's Squadron-Dangerous Alliance (Wrestle War '92) Simmons-Vader (WCW Main Event; Big since it was first black HW Champion) Sting-Vader (Superbrawl III) Vader-Flair (Starrcade '93) Sting/Steamboat-Flair/Austin (WCW Saturday Night; this was a good match, probably not essential, but I think given the names and that it was a rare match, I'd like to see it on there.) Hogan-Flair (Halloween Havoc '94; I'll skip the Hogan match, since this was the better match.) Savage-Flair (Starrcade '95; this also is questionable, as it's not their best match, but its short, and its a Flair title win.) Mysterio-Malenko (GAB '96; to me, this was the 1st great CW match in the CW renaissance.) Benoit-Sullivan (GAB '96) Sting/Luger/Savage v. Hall/Nash/Hogan (Bash at the Beach '96) Mysterio-Guerrero (Halloween Havoc '97) Sting-Hogan (Starrcade '97; has to be on there.) DDP-Benoit-Raven (Uncensored '98) Goldberg-Hogan (Monday Nitro) Goldberg-Nash (Starrcade '98) Booker T-Jarrett (Bash at the Beach '99 or '00; I must be getting old I can't remember.) Booker T-Steiner (Monday Nitro) Sting-Flair (Monday Nitro) I don't have enough '99 - '01 matches that stand out to me that the masses would like on DVD. Granted I'd like to see the Horseman-Flock Spring Stampede and other matches of the sort from various Nitros.

I also liked how one of the Japanese wrestlers had the grapple move when someone was on the apron was to powerbomb the opponent onto the floor. Great to eliminate yourself from the match.

Hey Chris, does it focus on the drug testing and doping allegations leading up to the 6th one, or more of a background on him battling the cancer? Or both?

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

With the 55th pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select...... Kamerion Wimbley, DE/OLB, Florida State I think there is no chance he falls this far, but this would be a great pick-up for the Bengals, as he was my second choice behind Tye Hill in the 1st Round. I am guessing he will be mostly used as a LB for Cincy, but will be able to be used as a DE on certain downs, much like David Pollack.

I always thought it was cool how the wrestler's attire would change on the intro as well if you changed them from the edit feature.

I just read Season of Life by Jeffery Marx. Real quick easy read if you're into inspirational type stuff or sports. Currently I'm reading Wooden on Leadership.

    LOST

Maybe it was the lowest rated Lost because people thought it was going to be a re-run.

    LOST

Just watched the episode tonight, (it killed me to see the thread grow without looking) and I DID love the episode. I guess I am soft for the happier ending. Count me in on the Michael is turning theory. Although I think he may have been drugged, and does not have genuine ill will. Although the thought to see Walt again would make him be desparate. The Rose-Locke connection was fascinating to me because I thought for sure the first person who knew about Locke's condition would be someone who is in a conflict of interest and therefore Locke would have to silence them. Obviously this is not the case. The fake Henry Gale continues to be a great, complex character. While hearing Locke lamenting and then seeing his smile was sinister, I still cannot shake the cowardly "I'm not a bad person!" from last week.

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

Bing would be a pretty good pickup for the Rams. I wouldn't mind banging out another round, but it looks like we'll stagger to the end of Round 2.

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

I don't think there's a chance Gabe Watson drops that low, but this would be a pretty great draft so far for the Bills. Great athlete in Vernon Davis and they a DT, another need. Way to let Tyler's dumb ass shit talking get everybody fired up.

    Probation

Yo Darth, I work at a school with about 1/3 of our students on probation. It'll probably go like this. Make sure you attend all of the scheduled meetings ON TIME and they'll probably have you piss once. I would bet if you have a year, they'll let you off after 4-7 months based on good behavior/clean urine.

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

I'm sure you'll catch it, but I'm not marked down for the Bengals in the 2nd Round. I'll hold on to them to. Gotta commend you, I never would have thought we'd get through a first round in less than a week!

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

With the 27th pick in the NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers select..... Ernie Sims, OLB Florida State Carolina needs help at the linebacker spots, and people seem to love how he is on game film. He is undersized, but seems to have great intangibles in order to succeed at the next level. I'm down for multiple rounds with both Carolina & Cincinnati.

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

With the 24th pick in the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select...... Tye Hill, CB Clemson Since the Bengals signed Dexter Jackson & Sam Adams in the off-season, they do not have to look for an immediate starter at this pick. They could probably look at almost every position on the defensive side of the ball to add depth, especially at LB since Marvin Lewis is thinking about switching to a 3-4 defense. However, it seems like Tye Hill is the best player left on the board. He won't start this year, but with Tory James turning 33 by opening day this will be a good future value pick. Hill also will probably immediately grab the starting punt return spot.

    LOST

I thought tonight was a great episode, maybe filler in the grand scheme, but many memorable moments. - I loved Dave telling Hurley it all a dream, a nice wink at some theories. - The look on Jin's face when Sawyer & Hurley were fighting was priceless. - "See you in another life" reminded me of Desmond. I guess what struck me the most was the vast differences in "Gale's" demeanor. Cold and arrogant with Locke, and pleading and weak with Sayid. Granted Sayid had a gun, but it is still a noticeable 180. Anybody ever notice too how everything Locke becomes emotionally invested in (Father's surgery, con games, Helen, The Outback trip, possibility of the Hatch being fake) he always gets burned? The Libby being in the hospital thing wasn't that shocking, just more unpredictable. Perhaps she was in the process of being programmed or deprogrammed by a group who needed her brainwashed. Just my 3 am .02 cents.

    2006 TSM NFL Mock Draft

I'm guessing with Indy at 30 and Pittsburgh at 32, I just cannot see him dropping out of the first round. I'm sure Indy would rather see Maroney fall to them anyway, but they'll take him if he's there. How do insert a picture, just click on the image feature?

    2006 NFL Off-Season

With the schedule coming out tomorrow, does it officially make me old if I am actively rooting for no home Sunday or Monday night games for the Bengals? The McNair situation is hilarious and makes the organization look petty. You signed to an absurd number. In good faith couldn't you let him workout. He is the team leader.
