I'd be pretty surprised if Adu does get selected. Although Arenas has a good open door policy, he'll take guys from MLS or from European leagues. Barring any injuries I just see too much talent at Adu's position that has had a lot of International or Cup qualifying experience.

I'd still like straight up picks, but I am cool with whatever.

Once again put me down as not too upset about not getting the seed. To garner respect we have perform well on the biggest stage. We had a few key players out as well Caboose. That being said England probably does beat us 9 out of 10 times straight up. How did you guys like your draw? I think this summer will be the year you conquer the Swedes.

I'm not too worried about the U.S. draw. Don't get me wrong Italy & The Czech Republic are great teams, but if the U.S. believes they are getting close to the upper echelon in the world, they should be able to get some type of results. Group D & H look a little weak, or at least real predictable.

Jeez, I can't remember the last big game Shelden Williams hasn't been in foul trouble.

Well I associate World Cup soccer with a decent amount of drinking, so if I can find a reason to start at 3 o' clock, good enough for me!
-
Actually I think Cincinnati fits that closer than the Seahawks, don't get me wrong, I can still see Seattle as the #2 or #3 team in the NFL, but I don't know if Seattle is better than Cincinnati at this point. Although the Colts are a clear #1. Man the Jags are talking a lotta shit, good for them though, might as well at least sound confident.

What time is the draw for you guys? It's 3 p.m. over here for me so I gotta haul ass to get home in time after work. Fortunately the boss is not going to be at work tomorrow, so I bet I'll slip out before hand. FIFA has only announced so far that Germany is in Pot A & Brazil in Pot F?

Good for Oregon, load up the non-conference schedules.

I feel dirty betting against my team, but thanks to the T-Wolves for making me some money! Seriously though Eddie Griffin had one hell of a game!

Tyler, you and Joey Porter can't call us the Bungles anymore (Although I really cannot disprove your theory, the Dayton area does seem to have a lot more Bengals fans they I remember pre-Marvin Lewis ). My hatred teams are the Steelers (but much respect to the organization, Rooney's have always known their shit, and I hate having to play Cowher twice) Broncos - My Dad's favorite team. Browns - Shitload of local fans (mostly because Browns have been around longer) Not a big fan of most of the NFC East teams, mainly because we always have to get certain match-ups on PrimeTime every year whether the teams are good or not.

For you legal types out there. A question about DUIs
Gert T replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in General Chat
Yeah warrants and they can jack that fine up. -
The best is that they both got arrested in a span of 15 minutes. Those mugshots are proof postive that the tailies have had it worse.

Being able to see your work from your window is a nice luxury, one I do not have (35 minute drive) Congrats.

Wacky Theory: Hurley somehow figures out a way to prove that he is indeed worth 150 million, and thus will win over Libby due to his "personality". I also think Eko will find out or knows that Locke couldn't walk/was in a wheelchair before the crash.
-
RRR, my theory was that Kate killed her father, (which I guess she did) although I thought it was the Army Dad. And hell yeah for my "what cliffhanger would they give us for 6 weeks"? That's pretty good. I was the same way, "don't push the buttons Mike." Do you really think Locke & Eko are enemies; I didn't catch the dialogue?
-
If they're try to raise morale of the troops, why are they putting them through a Show-Snitsky match?
-
Well since the scene-by scene thing was posted I won't throw out my theory, but I have to fight the urge to look at it before the show. What will be our cliffhanger for six weeks?
-
The Bengals will head into December in 1st place. Oh yeah! Although it really means nothing unless they win next week. But tell that to the Bengals ticket office who want 253 dollars from me by Friday, bastards. About the Colts going undefeated, I really think the Jags game was the only one that was legitamately in doubt, and that's coming from a person wearing orange and black striped glasses. I'd say its 50-50 right now, and if I had to bet on 16-0 I would say yes.

Just saw the episode today thanks to the DVR. I thought it was pretty good, I enjoyed the ending yet also had the cynic in me that thought Bernard's odyessy was not going to end well. I hope the next show delivers since from the preview it seems to deviate from the central themes this year. (Although I have not seen the other trailer). Any possibility that it was Goodwin that was in the Hatch with Desmond earlier? I guess the Desmond backstory and where he's at now is what I am interested in the most right now. Mark me down as someone who also enjoys the flashbacks, its a change of pace, and if it does add some depth to the character, I'm for it.

Well I guess from looking at the trailer for tonight's episode, I'm guessing that Eko gets the better of him somehow, although I don't think he got tied up without putting up a fight.
