I'm interested to see how Artest looks, although against this competition he should dominate.

Tomko didn't make it to SD!, show him the pink slip.

Who does Toronto go with Granger, Vanquez, I'll throw in Antoine Wright since Dick is having an orgasm about him? They took a center last year, so I assume they'll go with a 2 or 3 guy.
-
Granger or Gerald Green at #5 to Charlotte?
-
Thank you Utah for making the trade, a PG was desparately needed. I think the Lakers should take Ike Diogu or Joey Graham.
-
Anybody think that Atlanta should take Deron Williams or Chris Paul? Since they would have to get Josh Smith, Al Harrington, & Josh Childress into the lineup with Marvin Williams too. I understand not wanting to miss out on the "next big thing", but when coaches have average tenures of 2 years and GM about 4 years I sometimes you have to figure out what can make your team better now. But then again coaches are getting fired even after they take teams to the playoffs too.

Agreed, without Sir Charles making fun of Craig Sager it does lack a little bit. The Jazz officially have the #3 pick now, and it sounds like they gave up #6 & #27 and a future first round pick. I'm glad they didn't have to give up Kirk Snyder like it was rumored last night. I love Chris Paul, but I think Deron Williams is better in Utah's half-court offense. Its amazing how this trade doesn't happen if both Milwaukee & Portland don't leap-frog the Jazz, but I would rather them make the trade because neither would have been there at #6 overall.

^ I think it might have something to do with Nehemiah telling Wes that Melinda is using him. I thought I heard him say that.

I've only seen the 1995 Draft article, so I'll give the 2000 Draft a shot. Actual draft order 1. Kenyon Martin NJ 2. Stromile Swift VAN 3. Darius Miles LAC 4. Marcus Fizer CHI 5. Mike Miller ORL 6. DerMarr Johnson ATL 7. Chris Mihm CLE 8. Jamal Crawford CHI 9. Joel Przybilla MIL 10. Keyon Dooling LAC My top 10 1. Michael Redd (#43) I know its either him or KMart, but I think the fact that Kenyon is already gone shows how highly they thought of him as a franchise player. But I think its either Redd or Martin. 2. Kenyon Martin (#1) Toss up between him & Redd and easily the second best player from this draft at worst. 3. Desmond Mason (#17) Great player as the second option had a career year this year. Would a #2 option be worth the third pick overall? Probably not, but this draft class was weak. 4. Jamaal Magloire (#19) I expect to get reamed for having him over the next two players, but I think that he has had a solid career at center, while the next two have had good years recently. 5. Quentin Richardson (#18) Based on this year, I think he'd be higher, but I want to see how he does with the Knicks, in a more important role. 3-5 years from now if this is done, he could be higher. 6. Jamal Crawford (#8) Just like Richardson, had a great year last year and shouldl continue to rise. 7. Mike Miller (#5) Solid but unspectacular player so far. 8. Darius Miles (#3) After all that has happened in Portland, its even tough to put him here. 9. Stromile Swift (#2) Very apparent he is still a one dimensional player, but he is improving in Memphis. 10. Primoz Brezec (#27) Yeah the stats are probably padded because of playing for Charlotte, but it looks like the numbers still have the potential to go up.

This should serve as future reference for people who are in a situation where you are outnumbered and the fight is imminent. You absolutely be the aggressor and try to surprise them. Kudos to your strategizing on the spot. Did the other 2 guys that beat the one kid up bolt after the fight was over?
-
That was one hell of a cheap shot punch, no doubt. I liked Wes's line about he's gotten into tons of fights like that over stupid shit. My guess is he was at the business end of most of them. Johanna while hot, should get all of that shit for the fight happening. Lying about the story (although extremly intoxicated) to cover your ass. Charming.

I haven't read any spoiler tags or online stuff, but with all the speculation about other survivors, if they meet up with the original 48 (whatever the number now) I hope one person saw Locke getting carried onto the plane, I think that could create an interesting angle, does Locke feel threatened that someone knows his secret? Or does anybody else know about it now?

I got the wrong quote, I was referring to the 1st Team NBA All-Hatred team. I think that would be an interesting topic in itself. I'll have to think about mine. Hey Ripper, did you like that ESPN magazine article about your boy Bruce Bowen??? As far as the confused Laker fan, stick with your team or jump, but if you do jump make a clean break, you can't go back when the Lakers start winning again.

I guess its easy to say stop trading away thr prospects for a quick fix, but I think it would also be wise to set a reasonable budget eachn year. I believe a team should be able to spend as much as they want, but I think if they set a good budget it could pehaps improve their evaluation process. (Weighing how much a man's value is to the team versus the money it will cost to keep him).

I don't think he'll ever win a match, so I just assume we'll never see it.

What are the free standing Hindu squats, I'm ready to piss some Dr. Pepper. Actually if they're what I think they are, I don't know if I could do 10.

Pardon the spelling error that will occur, but how close do you think Posednik will get to Ricky's 130 steals? If Chicago is running away the division all year, he may have a shot.

With the 48th pick, the Cincinnati Bengals select Fred Gibson, WR, Georgia. Peter Warrick and his agent are the only people who say he is 100%. And Kelly Washington seems to have a firm place in Marvin Lewis's doghouse. The Bengals could go D-Line or Center here, but taking a chance on potential boom (or bust...) Gibson is understandable, to surround Carson Palmer with more weapons.

Baseball during sex, that is a keeper. I broke a blind date once last year in a baseball related reason. Me & my roommate went down to a Cards-Reds game at GAB last July. His woman tried to hook me up with this woman from her work. We met at a bar across from the stadium and talked for about 35 minutes. Then she finally noticed my Cardinals hat and said "wait you're not really gonna root for them?" It went cold after that. My question is this, would you really not date someone based on their teams? Hell, my current interest is a Browns fan and a Red Sox fan, (both of which are lowon my list) but would any of you be that picky in choosing a significant other?

While I agree with most of what Skip said, I love how he had to drop how many miles he runs. And being able to run long distances is different than the quick, infrequent start-stop movements baseball players make. But its good to hear you're such a warrior Skip.

Florida Bill Would Allow Students To Sue Teachers
Gert T replied to Hogan Made Wrestling's topic in Current Events
I was wondering what you meant by this specifically, since I am back getting my Master's degree in Education (my BS was not in Education) Thanks. -
I'll be rooting for Michigan State, but not Wisconsin and their Big Ten football style offense. But three Big Ten teams in the Final Four would be ironic in their "down year".

I said take it to the hoop (shakes fist) Good game, refs whistles stopped functioning with 1:30 to go. (For both teams)
-
Salim, give it up to Hassan Adams to take it to the hoop....

This is what happens when I send a picture of myself in a Salim jersey saying this is what I will wear next Saturday at a party. That was with 3:28 left and a 12 point lead.
