Funny most of the security was on the floor unsuccessfully trying to keep Pacers from going into the stands instead of doing it themselves. Its funny to because this lasted about 4 minutes before Pacers started leaving, and of course EVERYBODY was crowding the Pacers tunnel, hardly any security, until after they were getting pelted with shit.

I tend to think the same thing when ESPN showed it too. I don't get ESPNews so I've only seen it live and the brief bits the ESPN studio crew has shown, probably get a lot more at halftime of the Kings game, but man, it's fucking HILARIOUS if that isn't the guy who threw it! He sees Artest coming and just stands there laughing, says something, and Artest fucking tackles him! If Artest was that close to me and I thought I done him wrong, I'd probably be making my peace with God, not laughing!

When that guy was being restrained, Stephen Jackson came from behind and gave him some CRAZY hits. BTW... the next game between the two will be Christmas day in Indiana. What NBA? Shaq v. Kobe isn't enough for Christmas Day? As always the NBA is fixed.

I just meant use it as a scare tactic for the future. But if you think Jackson is only going to get 8 games, you're crazy.
-
That logic is flawed on a few levels. First, what if someone actually came to the game with that nerd, if you see Jackson, who was not directly involved go after your friend, you could be just as obligated to enter the fight as well. If the fans cannot come onto the court without repercussions, then the players have to be punished too.

Doesn't get into trouble? The guy went right after 3 or 4 fans. No matter what was thrown or said to him, he will be getting in trouble for that. Same go for "Action" Jackson. You're right, if one of my students spits on me, I can't beat the shit of him without getting fired. Artest should get less than Jackson though. Just make Artest's suspension 20 games and then through appeal knock it down to 8 or 10 games. That way he gets the standard fare for going after fans, but the league can still say that in the future unless there is strange circumstances like this you will get 20+ games.

If Artest didn't, Jackson certainly did. Too bad Jermaine O'Neal didn't get any of those fans throwing shit on him.
-
I don't blame the Pacers for going after Artest, but when Jackson went right by him to go after the fan was also a catalyst for fans going nuts. Unreal scene in Detroit.

Parents are home at 9:00 o'clock at night?

Good, I want to check out Shaun Livingston's game, since I did not get to see him during the free League Pass week. And I am not going to pay 20 dollars more. I'll wait until the first price drop.

I don't think it'll be a blowout, remember this is Henne's first trip to the Horseshoe. I do think OSU's offensive ineptitude will be the difference, and Michigan wins, unless Ted Ginn Jr. runs about 4 punts back. I really wish Wisconsin had won last week, so both games had much more meaning, I think Wisconsin-Iowa will be a great game, if Wisconsin isn't down from the loss.

Dama, as a Cards fan I will just laugh at the comparison, OU would love to be the St. Louis Cardinals of college football. My guess is that this year's Heisman winner gets the lowest number of 1st place votes.

And a rival with far better talent than their record indicates to boot. -=Mike No doubt, this is a great move for both Spurrier and and South Carolina. I like how people are saying how he can't win there. I guess Florida was really a superpower before he got there. This makes a great SEC conference even better.

Remember though to it will be tougher for any coach these days to win 3 Nat'l titles. Football is so much bigger at other places across the country and there were less variables in winning the National crown than now.

The Thursday games are ridiculous. As for the Monday flex game, I say it would suck if you are a team like Cincinnati and you have a MNF game for the 1st time in 15 years and then lose it because their may be a better matchup. And really isn't the NFL popular enough people don't really give a shit about the matchup?

I think the Bengals will play Pittsburgh close. This is the same time last year the Bengals had a home game facing a team with the longest winning streak in the league, and the Bengals can get their record to 5-5. I won't "guarantee" it though.

What happened to my tie? Sorry I forgot to submit picks again, although I am 2-0 when that occurs and 1-6 otherwise.........

I hope all 3 teams lose before the Orange Bowl, because lord knows we're not arguing enough now! Right now I like USC & Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl (if I chose), but the last two games for both teams will be a big factor.

Pace getting kicked out was very WWE-ish.
