I am going to work tomorrow, which will be at a elementary school, which lately has been a pretty extraordinary occurence. Yeah at school's you do have to be careful though not to go overboard. Make sure its P.C. I'm just gonna tell my second graders they will get candy, and then eat it right in front of them.

Pro wrestling and the music industry has really shitty retirement plans.

Yeah I thought the delay may be for the fear of losing their jobs. I don't know, I think this is frivolous, (and that I spelled it wrong) but at the same time I believe that 85-90% of what occured did actually happen. So will WWE try a divide-and-conquer and pull the "independent contractor" card? Or will they try to stay united in saying that this is a hoax. Was there anybody on the flight that is not with the company anymore that is not either deceased or accused? It would be interested to see what their testimony would be.

Yeah it looks like the Celtics will get that last spot. Unfortunately I don't think my Utah Jazz will either, but we'll see.

Yeah I gotta think LeBron gets it if you base it on which one has done the most for his team. I have to give a lot of props for Kirk Hinrich too, he has played a lot better than I imagined he would, albeit on a terrible team. And seriously what will the Bulls do this off-season. They are going to have a top 5 pick again, and already have about 5 lottery players from the last 5 years. Is there anyway they can end this cycle?

Amen. And the Jody Shelley moment of the year had to have been when he face-planted right in front of his bench after missing a check. And although I did not like the firing of Quenneville, I will still be hoping for the streak to continue.

Yes I remember them too, every Memorial Day our church goes camping, and as a 6 year old pussy boy I hated that weekend. It looks like Fear Factor is going to be running shows this summer, and why doesn't PETA beat down FF's door?

What was with the ref's putting their whistles in overdrive in the second half of the Xavier-Duke game. Myles committed no foul on his fifth, and while Shavelik fouled Chalmers they called his on Sato shot, where there was no foul. Should be solid games, and the gambling man in me is hoping for UConn over GT in a re-match from MSG so I win the office pool.

Unusual day at Bristol with full green pit stops. I guess it was a good gamble by Kurt Busch. The politically correct interviews by McMurray and Kenseth were hilarious. And it was funny how McMurray described his pass vs. Kenseth's (McMurray bumped Kenseth more than once as well), Kahne had to have been smiling after that although I'm sure he wishes he was racing. Although I am not a huge Rusty fan, you had to feel bad for him after the post-race interview.

Well, my parents are UND grads so I guess I'll have to root for them, although it would have been nice to see Miami advance, go Sioux!

So ESPN was talking about it today, so I'll ask, who is getting the #8 seed in the West, (Utah 36-34), (Denver 37-35) OR Portland (35-35)? One streak is going to end for sure and possibly both postseason streaks. Right now I really think it could be a toss-up, and I'd say Portland right now, but really its anybody's game.

It's funny my friends were talking with me about Sapp on Friday, and I said, it'd be good if they got him, but Sam Adams was a done deal three years ago and he bolted. Nice bait-and-switch deal, but if the Raiders want to grossly overpay him so be it. Dillon knew he couldn't just half-ass it anymore so that's why he wants out.

Amen, as a UD fan, I got a sick feeling in my stomach when they were up on Texas by 12 with about 2 minutes left, and at that point I was just praying that UC would not lay an egg against Illinois. I gotta give a lot of credit to the three final four teams from last year still in the tourney (Syracuse, Kansas, Texas). Between them they lost 4 of the top 12 picks in last years draft and Syracuse lost Edelin in February and they all made it to the second weekend. And all three have a reasonable shot of making it to San Antonio.

That's funny, I am a diehard UD fan and cannot question that statement. I was at my friend's house watching the game last night, and he had a great observation going into the second OT: "This would be one of the greatest tournament games ever if BOTH teams weren't playing so shitty." UConn had to be salivating last night.

I would blame the victim, I mean she did hit her head right? Seriously, I would have loved to have been the cop taking the police report from those women. Did they even write down their statements or just arrest them on the spot?

I agree, I can't believe Utah State did not get in. Wisconsin at 6 is a joke, and their game against Richmond is going to be "bowling shoe ugly" as JR would say. I am impressed with UK's full-court press, and that even though they have no real superstar, they are playing this well.

Well the field of 65 is pretty much set, because of the five title games tomorrow, no team will gain or lose an at-large bid.

Interesting note from the Velocity preview

It'd be nice if they only had four guys in a ring at once, then a new one comes out when another is eliminated with Chavo going out last. But I guess that would differ the "Chavo vs. 9 guys" theme. -
I love the Blues, but until they prove me wrong, the longest streak in professional sports (24 years I believe) will be over.

Sorry about the double, I'll try to make something useful from it. OK State is up 6 against Texas Tech with 14 minutes to go. Duke is up 10 on Georgia Tech with about 9 minutes left. Illinois is about to finish up Michigan.

Florida A&M has clinched a birth to the NCAA tournament at Dayton, OH next Tuesday with a record of 14-16 with an amazing RPI of 291 out of I believe 326! Sorry if I seemed testy M-Slayer, I've been debating for a week now about how the top four teams in the A-10 could get into the tourney and at least win a game. But then again about 45-55 at-large teams could do that this year.

Really did I? Please tell me which fourth Big Ten or Pac-10 team will get to the tournament? Michigan? Iowa? Oregon? Watching basketball can make it easy to come to that conclusion. Earlier you said And ESPN.com has three Big Ten team's getting in, three Pac-10 teams getting in and three A-10 teams getting in. However, one can get that conclusion just from watching a lot of basketball so, my bad. Although in fairness Dayton seems about 60-40 being in with the analysts. Clark Kellogg had Air Force in over them. Here's a question, although I am not sure if either team will get in Colorado or Richmond? The committee says that they look for the 34 best at-large teams. Colorado had 10 wins in the Big 12 this season. Richmond had 10 wins in the A-10 which is obvious nowhere near the level of the Big 12 (Don't worry I'm not delusional!) But I think Richmond has a higher SOS and RPI, and they beat them out in Colorado. A big problem with the A-10 is that 4 of the 5 best teams play in the Western Division. If Richmond doesn't play UD 3 times, Xavier twice & GW twice they may be hovering around 23-24 wins, but of course the RPI would be down a little too.
