USC tonight, rest later.
Sorry
-
Agreed. I put it on my match list strictly because the live show personal memories.
2001 Pillman Show was shitty because it really became too much of an "it" event and the A-Hole fans were bashing Jeff Hardy WAAAY too much.

I really thought this was a fun card, as WCW had strong wrestlers at most spots in the card.
Of course in simple WCW logic, Konnan beat OMG for the U.S. Title one week before the PPV.
I HATED when WCW did that shit.

The interesting question is, can they (Dan & Memphis) convince both Keesha and Jerry that the other one is who needs to be evicted next week? Dan and Memphis have a good chance to win HOH next week, but since it is all in one person's hands for eviction next week, can they convince Jerry to vote out Keesha and vice-versa. If it came to that.
-
Good nominations by Jerry. I think he knows that this week is more about the POV and who the two voters are.
It should be interesting to see how the in-fighting between the Alliance of 4 continues.....

No shit about Halas, didn't realize Papa Bear wasn't taken, although Coaches and QB's were going to be the ones with the most snubs, with only pne slot per team.
-
Obviously I am happy that my team won, and I think we should try to do this after each season during the playoffs. Then maybe we can pick the actual year, since thats how Whatif? does it.
Thanks for the love for my team, and for those who thought my team was weak, what didn't you like? I mean that from a perspective of trying to spark debate, not smugness.

Don't be ashamed, welcome back!
I bet CBS is pissed that the Double Eviction fell the same week as that. It will be a blip on the radar.
Ollie is such a bitch. I am glad that my proclamation on Page 1 still stands. The best part was in the DR after the POV ceremony that Ollie proclaimed that Dan has done nothing in the house.

After watching tonights show (and disregarding the spoilers for now), I really do not understand why Dan is doing this. There is no way that everybody will happy and not mad at him by Thursday night. He's got a 40% chance of going up next week anyway, why put up perhaps the closest person to you?
When is the POV ceremony? Gotta make sure my BBAD are taped when the shit hits the fan. Hopefully BB supplies the HG's with a case of beer that day!
-
Rubio actually had a pretty big write-up in either SI or ESPN the mag last spring.
-
Has the POV been played yet? I don't want to read these spoilers yet if it already has. For once I do want to see how it plays out before I read it. How many of these posts can I read before it has been listed? Thanks.

With my final pick in TSM's NFL Draft, I select:
Len Dawson/QB
7 Time Pro Bowler
2 Time All Pro
Pro Football HOF
Super Bowl IV MVP
I also considered Cunningham, Kurt Warner, Aikman, and Jim Kelly for these spots. Not too seriously though since, Dawson was 10th on my list of QB's when I made my list. Great QB who I think would have excelled in today's game.

-
Can I go ahead and make my last pick since I am the only person QB-less?
-
This may get to Howie level from BB6 as dumbest HOH move ever. If he does want Memphis out, that's fine, but you do not put an ally up.
It just makes me think that Dan wants to be known as this great player with these master plans. Yet he is going to look like a dumbass either way.
Has he not told Keesha about the plan? If not when she finds out he becomes a target for a different reason.
The POV becomes more important than the HOH once it gets about to 7 or less. So I think Dan is either crazy, arrogant or too chicken shit to want to break a 2-2 tie.
-
That would be smart nominations. Could always BD Michelle if need be.
-
Benoit v. Regal from the 2000 Pillman show. I am sure it may not have held up as well on the DVD as it was live, but all the elements together made it my fav.
-
I am against it. I started drinking at 18, but I don't like the fact that 18 year olds could buy beer for 14 and 15 year olds like 21 year olds do for 18 year olds now. While 14 and 15 year still drink now, its harder for them to get the alcohol now than it would be if it were 18.
-
Thanks for the love. I think the Dirk pick was good for my team because he has always had to be the #1 guy in real life where on this team, he is probably a #2 or 3 option.
-
I still think that backboard was rigged for total Shaq destruction.
-
Yeah, I just didn't want to spill that I know. Not that it'll be a secret much longer:
With my 25th round selection. I take:
Ray Donaldson/C
6 Time Pro Bowler
228 Games Started; #2 All Time for Centers
Basically it was between Ray and Bulldog Turner. I like Bulldog Turner, but Ray is 6'6, and 311 lbs. And he wasn't exactly a slouch in his "dominated an era at his position. Clearly behind Webster, Hillgenberg and Dawson, but thats about it.
