I hope I don't have to take calculus 2 again. That would suck... a lot. I recommend not picking CS as a major.

Is this high school? 10 pages on what?

You can make VII like that too, it's just up to you who has the steal materia, who has enemy skill and who has slash-all or whatever. That's the problem. Every single character can do everything. In FF6, you have to make do with what you have. You can't just laugh and switch the skills to whoever you want. You'd think so, but more options really take away from the strategy because it doesn't limit you as much. Since every character can do EVERYTHING you want them to do, it doesn't take as much effort to stay alive. It lets you turn them into gods. FF4 leaves you with the disadvantage of not everyone being able to cure and not everyone being able to attack. Each character has strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes you won't even have a white mage or black mage in your party. Or they'll run out of MP or die and then you'll be screwed. One character will have to use a life potion if you have any and another will have to use a cure potion if you have any and maybe another. Then you have to think about if you should even use a turn to use life since they might kill her as soon as she comes back when you could be curing somebody else or attacking. For FF6/FF7, all you do is use life2 with anybody. If a monster is weak against fire, well use Fire for everybody! You don't have to worry about silly things like fire and ice weapons. Like someone else said, they could have easily made it where Barret's cure magic was much less effective than Aeris's, and Barret could have had strong weapon skills that Aeris would've been able to use. And someone could have had strong attack magic that no one else could use. Everyone shouldn't be able to use the best spells. Just so they would all be different and useful. It doesn't make a tiny bit of difference if you stick with the same three characters the entire game because they're all identical. Where's the strategy in that?

One more comp sci...

Just like Bret Hart leaving, Diesel leaving, Scott Hall leaving, and Nitro starting to pick up might've had something to do with 1996 buyrates. See this is why you have to look at more than just who main evented a show. If that's all you go by, then you have to admit Bret is the worst draw ever since Bret/Bulldog did worse than HBK/bulldog. Hell, HBK/Undertaker did better than Austin/Undertaker. And HBK/Diesel in shitty 1996 did better than Austin/Foley from Over the Edge 1998. I agree, but I think HBK is a draw just due to the fact that he didn't sink the WWF in 1996. He was all by himself, and ratings/buyrates didn't drop any from 1995. Besides, look at how ratings jumped in late 97 when he was at the top.

I'm not a big fan of VI's gameplay either, but at least Locke stealing, and Sabin's blitzs, and Cyan's swordtechs, and Strago's lore set them all apart from each other. You had set classes for 9 and 10 too, and they still gave you some freedom with it. In 10, you could break out and change classes if you really wanted to, but that would take a lot of extra work.

Because everybody can do the same attacks. There's no strategy involved at all. The characters are just a bunch of materia slots.

He said he might, not that he would....

ROFL.. Cena owns.

So now we'll never know. Good job. Goddamn mods.. Btw he may have actually been joking you know..

You know..... Austin main evented PPVs in 1997 too. Look how great they did. Hey, maybe it was just a bad year...
-
Swerve of the year. It's Kamui. Who else would make 160 posts in 3 days?
-
They were low but never as low as Bret/Sid at It's Time, the worst buyrate of the year or Bret/Bulldog from Dec 95 which is the lowest WWF buyrate of all time. Bad Blood 97 also had the highest IYH PPV buyrate of that year, even beating out Canadian Stampede. So if Shawn couldn't draw a dime, what does that make Bret?
-
Hmm... He did pretty good in late 97, early 98.

You think they all come from one site?

Let's all hope.

Nah, this is Kamui. You've probably never seen a Godzilla. You won't ever see one on this board cause of the mods. A godzilla would be like someone coming in here hating Benoit and then flaming the piss out of anybody who disagrees with him. For weeks and months until the whole board gets caught up in it. Everyone in a flame war arguing against the one guy.

some people on gamefaqs are assholes.

It's incredible if you read it all the way from the beginning. The fairy tale romance he was expecting ACTUALLY happened! I want pics.

C'mon, Jericho had this look on his face like "WTF are you smoking?" and Christian was jumping up and down going "YAY! I LOVE IT!!!"
