    the jericho/trish angle

Guerrero. He's massively over for no other reason than he's extremely charasimatic and fun to watch. Just think if they took him all the way and pushed him to the top. The US title for a month and getting beat by the Big Show is well, the opposite of that. Jericho could be another Shawn Michaels. He's got everything it takes, but WWE never saw it and never had a clue on how to use him. You could go back as far as Fully Loaded 2000. He stole the show with HHH, and what happened? He was stuck feuding with Kane and X-pac. Look at the last couple months. It's not as if he's been playing second fiddle to HHH. Because he's gone and nothing has changed. Now there's no top heel whatsoever. He had a semi feud this summer with Michaels that didn't go anywhere because Orton was Shawn's real enemy. Now he's been feuding for months with someone who can't even wrestle. If the WWE wants to try to make Jerichos perception changed, the first thing he needs is a big match with a clean win. That's just the beginning. Angle could have been the next Bret Hart. All they needed to do was feed this guy inferior wrestlers back to back, and just give him one title reign that was long and worthwhile. How hard is that? Yet he spent too much time being a goofy character and being a transitional champion. Twice for Brock which is just mind boggling. It's probably too late in his career now. But there's Benoit. I already covered him, but I'll do it again. The fans were willing to accept him at least three times. The first time he got injured. The second and third time, they just fucked him over completely. He does have in ring charisma, people do like him, and he's actually got decent mic skills. About as good as Bret Hart had in 92 and 93.

no thanks. i dont really want to give away any ideas without being paid for it. my ideas would actually get on tv. they are worth money. on offense to anyone i hope. Oh dear god. Yes your ideas would get on air. Why? Because they suck. We've read your wonderful Austin/Steiner idea. Your wonderful Jericho/Trish idea and guess what!? They all suck! They're the same shit that is over complicated and makes no sense that is polluting the TV right now! Listen...YOU SUCK. YOU ARE A TERRIBLE WRITER. YOUR IDEAS ARE SO BAD THAT WCW PROBABLY WOULDN'T EVEN HAVE USED THEM. Maybe now it'll get through to your dumbass. Oh and if I were running a wrestling company it would fail? Hmm...well my ideas(and everyone else here's) is pretty much on par with what they were doing in late 99/2000. Hmm....if I remember right that drew big ratings and buyrates. Meanwhile you're ideas are what's going on now and what drove WCW into the ground. And yet your ideas don't draw ratings.....so hmm....who would drive a wrestling company to failure? Looks like you would buddy. whats worked then wont work now. you dont have talent to keep it interesting. the story must be your focal point. btw you saying im a bad writer just goes to show how stupid you really are. my stories have suspense and are complex and well written. yours would probably be on par iwth something my 10 year old brother would write . you would never get a job with wwe or tna, because you dont understand whats going on or why the storys are the way they are. i bet you wouldn't beleive me if i told you that all your predictions and "expert analysis" of current stories are there because the writers programmed you to think that. you dont have a clue. take your mickey mouse crap somewhere else loser. Do you realize you posted 150 times in a little over 3 days? Of course what worked then would work now! How many times do we have to drill it through your head that in 98 there wasn't any talent. They MADE talent because they had to. WWE has the talent right now, they just either don't feel like using it or aren't smart enough to use it. See the difference?

    the jericho/trish angle

Jericho doesn't genuinely care about it. He just sees it as another means to mess with Austin. Perhaps that's where they're going with it. Jericho won't abuse Trish, but he will use her and she'll realize it sooner or later. Yeah, it's fine if he doesn't care. An abusive relationship makes no sense however. It would go against everything he's been doing for months. For months Jericho would lay into Austin giving the crowds logical reasons why he should be fired, why he's a hypocritical jackass, etc. It's better for him to want Austin to get fired for real reasons, instead of simply not liking him. WWE needs more shades of grey characters. It's got the asshole department already filled with Test and Steiner. I don't want to see Jericho turn into another Test.

    the jericho/trish angle

Here's the main reason the idea is shitty. It makes no sense. If Jericho doesn't have a problem with abusing women why would he care about Austin beating them up?
  5. chaosrage

    the jericho/trish angle

could be, but that would be disappointing. jericho should use this get into the me again. as i said before if he played trish or trapped her in an abusive relationship, he would gain piles of heat from male and female viewers alike. im not talking about one fued here, im talking about jerichos character as a whole. But they already have several feuds revolving around this already! Test is abusive to Stacy, Steiner was nice to Stacy, then when he had her, he became abusive. Austin beats Stacy because she won't drink beer with him (!). If Jericho jumps on the woman beating bandwagon, people will start to not care. And if all we have on RAW are these woman abusing angles, people will walk away or will tune in casually, see what's going on, and add more fuel to the fire that "wrestling is for rednecks." Jericho needs to do something to make him stand out from the rest of the guys on RAW. no one cares about test. do you? i dont. i will remember what austin did to stacy, as well as steiner. speaking of steiner, he would work well with victoria as his main freak. You missed the most important part. It's just been done already. Actually, it's still going on. How about doing something different? Why does Jericho have to be good or evil? Why can't he be in between? He could be a heel and he could still be in love with Trish.

Hahahhahahahha!! Oh my god, this deserves it's own post. If this was true, RVD would have been a world champion in 01. No questions asked.

    the jericho/trish angle

Who's talking about early 90s? We're saying 98-00. Vince didn't win ratings with shock TV. Vince won ratings with Austin/McMahon and by building up intriging characters and making people care about simple storylines. Shock TV is what Russo used on WCW near it's death. He thought like you and decided people only wanted to be surprised. Well here's a surprise for you. Come to find out, no one really gave a shit! 2000 in WWE had relatively little shock TV in comparison to 99 and whatever garbage Russo was doing at the time and it was the best year for the company.

Wasn't one of your arguments about how times have changed? Well, times have changed from the times of the Monday Night Wars. What worked THEN isn't working NOW. Hence why whatever they try now is NOT helping them boost their status anymore. A new direction is needed. I'm not saying that the direction suggested by everyone here is the RIGHT one, but it COULD be. The thing is the willingness to give new things a try. That's how the New Generation came to be. That's how the Attitude Era came to be. And that's how another new era will come to be. yes, something NEW. what you guys want is old school. no one else wants that. Yes, actually, people do want that. That's why ratings are down.

He didn't lose faith in Benoit. Benoit went on to beat Jericho at SS, face Angle at WM, and there was one awesome time in the summer of 2001 where he was the number 1 face in the company. He looked like he was on the verge of getting the world title from Austin. He was so over that you knew if it didn't happen in one month, it was definitely about to happen soon. The problem? He got injured and the brain donors in charge of the WWE brought him back as a heel. He has in ring charisma, that's what made people cheer him. It's too bad we have no way of knowing if he would have been a draw or not because they wouldn't take a chance on him. Worse, it's almost like they purposely brought him down because they weren't ready for the response he got. Whatever you think about Benoit, it doesn't matter if you think he's world title material or not, doing absolutely nothing with him after the Royal Rumble is just simply moronic, period.

And they're certainly doing a good job of that. Because you know ratings are so much better than they were in 98-00. one reason ratings were so great then is the talent. with austin and rock being used properly, they had some of the best entertainers of the century on the same show. there is no possible way that cant draw. What the hell are you talking about? In 1998, the only big names they had were Austin and Undertaker. They built the Rock, HHH, and Mankind up from nothing. Something they can't seem to do with Rob Van Dam, Jericho, or Benoit despite every opportunity they've been given to do it. There's no excuse when a guy like Benoit gets a standing ovation at the main event of a PPV and then instead of using that to make him into something like they would have in 98, he's suddenly lumped into a tag team, losing matches every week, getting no mic time, and missing PPVs. They have no talent now because they insist on using the same wrestlers at the top and that's really all there is to it. Thank your soap opera writers.

well your entitled to your opinion. the only thing you probably do care about is 4* + matches and if thats the case im not surprised. puro in america is dead. Yet the crap you are promoting doesn't draw ratings worth shit. Yeah that makes sense. And what's that? Puro in America? There never has been Puro in America. What you just said makes no sense. how would you know what draws ratings? you seem to like storys that well, you would like. there are millions of viewers, and they dont represent the smark subculture. What!? I know this crap doesn't draw ratings! Because it's not! So actually I would know more about what draws ratings than you since you're trying to actually write this shit and get it on air. And it doesn't draw ratings now...so why would it when you're writing the same damn thing? Oh that's right...it wouldn't. and what makes you so sure that if vince abandoned his current direction and changed to something more suited to you that the ratings would rise? Because the current direction made it fall?

    My school problem....

Anyway, with Calc, as long as you can understand that the derivitive (slope on a graph) of x^(a number) becomes (the number)x^(number - 1), example: x^3 = 3x^2. the derivitive of 14x = 14. derivitive of x = 1. Any number by itself = 0. and the anti derivitive of x^(a number) is x^(number + 1) divided by (number + 1), example: x^3 = (x^4)/4. you've pretty much got the whole course. Later you'll get into intergrals where you have to subtract the anti-derivitive of two numbers. And sometimes you'll have to multiply derivitives. To do that, you take the derivitive of the left number and multiply it to the right and add the derivitive of the right number multipled to the left. To do limits, you usually just have to take the derivitive of the top and of the bottom. Either that or divide everything by the biggest X in the bottom. But most of it comes down to algebra.

    My school problem....

Alright, well then you didn't do bad on the ACT only because you're bad at math. Your school was just shit. How did you do in Algebra and Trig when you took it in college? Like I was saying, I don't think Calc is that horrible. The first time I took College Alegbra, I failed it and took it again and passed it with a C. Then I took trig and barely passed it with a D. Two years later (after I forgot everything about math) I took Calc 1 and passed it with a C. Now I have an A in Calc 2. Go me. But maybe I'm just getting better at it. (shrugs) What I do is try to make index cards of all the problems the prof works in class. It's calc so that only comes to around 4 or 5 a day. When the time comes to study for the test, you just sit down and try to do the problems. If you don't remember, you just flip the card over and see what he did for it.

    My school problem....

What maths did you take in high school? I made a 18 on the math part of the ACT but the highest my school went up to was Algebra 2. There was a lot of trig and calc questions on it. And I really don't think Calc is as hard as everybody makes it out to be. Trig was tougher.

    can steiner do it?

See, I don't know why they do stuff like that. It never turns out good. Like the time HHH came down to the ring and everybody thought he was gonna help Rock. The crowd was deafening. They had WANTED to cheer for HHH. But then he turned, and they ruined it all. It didn't make him a stronger heel like they thought it would, it just didn't do a whole lot of anything. Because they wanted to root for HHH and WWE didn't let them. What good does pissing fans off ever do? It didn't help ratings, that's for sure. As for Montreal, it didn't only drain the energy outta that one segment. Before that, the crowd was hot. After it, everything was quiet. It killed the whole entire night. When Jericho came out later, he didn't get cheered or booed. He got no reaction at all. So I don't think that's a good way to go.
  21. chaosrage

    can steiner do it?

I'm saying that everyone really hates Steiner now and it'll turn Jericho unless they do something with him to make him really evil and heelish. Which would only make them both get apathy from the crowds. Think about the time Jericho turned on Montreal after Shawn just ripped on them for about 10 minutes straight. You could just feel the energy draining out of that place.
  22. chaosrage

    can steiner do it?

Your explanation was something like "I think it would work because they're fun to watch" And the answer is no, because of course the crowds need someone to cheer for and get behind. Or else it'll put them to sleep. They would cheer for Jericho, but that would turn him face and that would be horrible. Jericho sucks as a face, seriously.
  23. chaosrage

    can steiner do it?

But it would matter. People won't watch when guys they hate are the only ones on the TV screen. That can't work and won't ever work. What would happen is the fans would probably turn Jericho face. Yet then it's not heel/heel anymore.
  24. chaosrage

    can steiner do it?

Damn, I thought I was the only one. They looked and worked pretty good together. Steiner is the big power house and Jericho is the work horse. We need more teams like this. No one has really been able to get it right since Bret and Anvil, IMO. Yeah, exactly. At least you know with Steiner and Jericho, it won't be the pussy team that Christian and Jericho was. Steiner will dominate people and they'll let Jericho carry his own weight and keep up with him using his speed.
