We would, but we're not typical fans. I mean, there's a reason you never see it happen, it's because usually people just want to see the heel get his ass beat by the face and that's it. They need to have someone they can root for. If two heels are fighting they won't care about who's winning or what's going on. They'll probably just switch the channel.

Yep, cause people just love those!

That was when Chris was feuding with like 5 different people at the same time. I'd rather see them as a team anyway than Steiner just plow through Jericho again. And you know he would. Because he's bigger. They won't even let RVD get a win on him. Jericho and Steiner actually make a pretty good heel team though.

Goldberg has admitted in interviews that he has apologized to Bret. When was that? I know he finally admitted he was responsible for what happened and he said "It's not ballet", but I don't remember him apologizing. Here's Bret on Goldberg. “Would love to kick him in the head the same way he kicked me” "Goldberg definitely ended my career." - shoot tape "Unfortunately his skill was nil and six months later he ended my career with a mule kick to the side of my skull that nearly ripped my head off and sent my brain rocking like jello. " - last month's calgary sun Remember Goldberg gave him three concussions in one night, not just one.

Something like that. I always thought it was funny how everybody makes fun of Shawn for that line, but Bret did the same thing. Notice he didn't come back until right when Shawn lost the title.

The NWO was at its height in terms of drawing power in 1997 and early 1998. You're thinking of when it reached its creative peak which is different. When the NWO was drawing its best ratings was when Undertaker & Bret Hart were champs and both of them drew better than Michaels did a year earlier when the NWO was still in its early stages. Compare Taker's Revenge with Better Friends Better Enemies. Wrestlemania13 with Wrestlemania12. As awesome as Austin/Hart was with some of the best storytelling ever, it didn't do good business until Canada/USA came along. Ratings didn't start going up until HBK came back.

Neither did Charlie Haas, but his numbers are substantially higher than RVD's. Charlie Hass also hasn't been treated like total shit for a whole year now. I mean, what do people see when they turn on RAW? RVD getting his ass beat by Kane or a three minute curtain jerker (always the lowest rated of the night) where he gets pinned by a DDT or something. So he never had the opportunity to draw.

Maybe because he was the only big name still around besides the Undertaker? That might have something to do with it. Bret Hart left to go and find his smile. Diesel left. Razor left. Well that would explain why Hart/Bulldog in dec 95 (a PPV that didn't have Shawn) did so good.... Oh wait, it was the lowest buyrate for a WWF PPV ever. And after Shawn lost the title in 96 and Bret came back, he brought the WWF down to a .35 for It's Time. Lower than Degeneration X. Shawn wasn't on that one either. King of the Ring 96 did better than Final Four. Shawn also wasn't there for that one. Hey, I think I'm seeing a connection. Bullshit. Ratings went from low 2's in the summer to high 3's right before Wrestlemania. Bad Blood had the highest IYH buyrate of the year. But would it have been as high? Over the Edge did lower than some of Shawn's from 96. One of them headlined by HBK/Diesel! Spend allll day figuring that one out. I'm about the biggest HBK mark there is and even I wouldn't pay to see HHH vs HBK for the third time. Who the hell would? How is that Shawn's fault? And according to the ratings break down, Shawn does bring in ratings.

This man tells the truth if you actually watch the matches. Every RVD match in ECW followed the same formula. RVD, the overconfident cocky ass was always playing to the crowd behind a series of flashy moves in the beganing of the match. The opponent during the match would BEAT the cockiness out of him within five minutes. 3-4 minutes into a ECW RVD match, you would be hard pressed to see him stalling and playing to the crowd. And his matches were a lot longer in ECW. It's hard to keep up the same fast pace constantly when you're wrestling a 30 minute match.
-
RVD is a lot closer to Godfather territory than Hogan. Just look at the recent ratings reports. Benoit & Eddy are drawing 5x what RVD is with the same push. RVD is similar to Shawn Michaels. He was always a terrible draw too despite his fan support. When was Michaels ever a terrible draw? And RVD never had the opportunity to draw.

A hot crowd does not make a good match. Otherwise Andre/Hogan would be the best match of all time. Hot crowd + hot smark crowd on the net = a good match

I know. He had a whole line this time.

Talk like people. Taste like crabs. Craaaaaaaaaab People.

Why the hell did they just drop Professor Chaos? That's where my name and avatar came from. It's like they forgot all about Tweek and Butters when they brought fucking Kenny back.
-
Kenny should have stayed dead btw. He doesn't bring anything to the show. I want Tweek back.

when all the world is metrosexual, the crab people shall reign supreme, hah

metrophobics!

Paul Heyman vs Eric Bischoff Those two in charge of two WWE shows. How weird would that be?
-
Yea, but all you need to do is to look at the Raw thread to see everybody was entertained by it except you. It had decent wrestling (tag team, goldberg/shawn, womens, orton/booker, flair/maven) and orton and flair were funny. About the only thing that was pure crap was Dudleys/La Resistance. Oh and Austin in the beginning. Save your bitching for Smackdown if it's the like the last two weeks. That was cool.

7) Stop being a whiny bitch. It was a good show. And He got the same reaction he always gets.

RVD is awesome.

Trish is overexposed. Gail is new... not exactly rocket science. And when she's in the ring without Trish..... you can hear a pin drop in the arena.

So back to DT.... If there's one thing I'm worried about with the series, it's how King's going to finish it. King's always been real spotty on endings, that's one mark against the guy. He's so good at making the suspense that often he can't deliever on the hype. That's when you'll get things like "Oh noes, it's the deadlights! Wait, what, it's a giant turtle?" or "The hand of God" coming down to save the day or something like Shadow Puppets. That doesn't happen on his short stories or small books. Books without a lot of characters or complicated plots. Shawshank Redemption and Misery had pretty good endings. But obviously he's got more riding on his shoulders with DT than anything he's ever written before. Can he live up to that hype? I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

I said I didn't think it was bad, so I don't know what you're talking about. Tolkien was very creative and it's amazing how much effort he put into making the world of LOTR. That said, a lot of it was slow and it got boring after awhile. Tolkien was a little bit too descriptive. I think it makes a better movie. He inspired King (and Martin), but DT isn't like LOTR. King doesn't bog the reader down with useless details. I always liked how he didn't have to write 4 pages of description on the scenery to get you in the story. He writes just enough so you know what's happening. A lot of people actually look down on him for that though because he's easy to read, as if that could be a bad thing.. There's a lot of genius in simplicity. I still say King will get close to the same amount of respect as Tolkien after we're dead. Because frankly, not only does DT kick LOTR's ass, it rips it's head off and rapes it's skull. ......but they might not go that far.
