    Raw Rating...

That was awesome Rudo. The best part was the "I see.. I thought Chris Benoit loved this business and wanted to be the best" line. Vince saying his whole name makes it. You could picture him saying something like that.

    Geek Pick-Up Lines

I've been told this one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey baby, I wish I was sin(x)^2 and you were cos(x)^2 because then together we would be 1.

    Raw Rating...

8.1, only time Raw ever had an 8 rating. Owen's death was on all of the news channels, while Eddie's seemed to be just MSNBC. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

Crying over a wrestler's death is pathetic

I was under the impression that the "room is spinning" line was just an exaggeration used by BX to mock DH about the Bossman's death. Maybe I'm wrong, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I searched for it, it was Czech. Sometimes I just skim through the RAW threads without reading the names. I didn't realize it was Czech being sarcastic. The Bossman comments were ridiculous. They deserved a thread making fun of them. Nothing said last night was anywhere near that over the top. Frigid is just being an asshole.

Crying over a wrestler's death is pathetic

Yeah, I can't believe anyone would ever cry over someone's death man. You're a fucking idiot. Shut the fuck up. The room spinning and vomiting was overboard, but there's nothing wrong with anyone crying. If people do it for movies and fictional characters dying, it's certainly okay for to do it for a real death, especially if it's somebody that they've watched every week for 10 years and may have looked up to.

    Eddie's autopsy report

I almost wish it was that too for a different reason. That fact that he died pushing his body to the limit to entertain everyone, even when he wasn't feeling good and should have been either at home resting or in a hospital just makes it more sad. Kennedy has to be most relieved person in the world though.

How is that "classic" Eddie Guerrero? Classic Eddie Guerrero would be five-star matches in Japan with Chris Benoit and the like. That's just stuff from his racist caricature persona of the last three years. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And of course no one liked that persona at all.

    Test speaks out on Eddie:

Even with the safer style, WWE gets more injuries than more violent promotions ever did such as ECW. So I doubt blading and chairs have much to do with it. It's more what Test said, wrestling 5 days a week every week with no breaks. How can any of them stand it? As can be seen with all the neck surgeries and deaths, they can't stand it. Human beings need some type of recuperation time.

    Test speaks out on Eddie:

Maybe it's time to finally have an off season. Or at least limit the days per week they perform. You know he's right about what he said about Eddie not being the last one to die. Something needs to change.

You're right, pwtorch originally reported that he died after they eat breakfast. Now they're saying Eddie and Chavo ate together before they went to sleep. Still, in any case it's not like he was suffering for days if Chavo didn't sense anything wrong a few hours before hand. And it must have been sudden if he died with a toothbrush still in his mouth.

The OAO RAW thread - 11/14/05

Well said. We're all sad because we'll never see him again but he had a great career and he did finally get his due unlike a lot of other wrestling deaths. Owen for one. He went out respected by millions of people around the world and at the top in his profession. His death also seemed to be pretty quick since Chavo had just eaten breakfast with him and didn't know anything was wrong. Eddie didn't even have time to take the toothbrush out of his mouth. I feel bad for Benoit, Malenko, Mysterio, etc.. and his family, but I honestly don't see much reason to feel sorry for Eddie. Eddie had an awesome life and died having fun. If I had the option right now of dying a fast death at 38 with everything I've ever wanted to do accomplished in life surrounded by lots of friends and family, I'd be more than glad to. So when you watch moments on Raw, try not to think that he's gone and you'll never see him again, but instead try to think of how much he was enjoying what he was doing at the time and how good he was. Like Fishy said, Raw isn't a funeral, it's a tribute.

ESPN Radio Host makes comments on passing

These radio hosts are obviously a fan of the Vince Russo "any publicity is good publicity" train of thought. You know, it's pointless to send them letters. They have to know saying something like that would be offensive and they're only saying it to get a reaction. To get hate mail and to get people posting about them on forums. Maybe if the letters were sent directly to ESPN.

    Favourite Eddy Guerrero moments

According to CRZ, it was July 22, 2002. That was also the match where Eddie pulled out that fucking awesome counter to the Rock bottom.

    Favourite Eddy Guerrero moments

His promo against the Rock where he talked about how he ripped the Rock's poster off the wall and burned it to teach their kids a lesson and he's got the people's mullet. Still makes me laugh my ass off. "Orale, orale, La Roca. Ese, man, who do you think you are, holmes? You know, man, I gotta problem with you, ese. You see, hey, yeah, you I'm talkin' to you, Rock. You see, I got dos chavalitas at home - I got two little girls, ese, and they WORSHIP the ground that their father walks on, they idolise me, man. And you see, man, the other night when I walked in the room to say good night, for them to show their father the respect that he deserves, ese - I saw something very disturbing. See I looked at their wall and not only did that have a picture of me, but right next to that picture was a poster - of El Rey a la Scorpion, ese - The Rock. OOH, ese, ooh - Mr. Big Shot, ese - the movie star man. You know what, man? In my heart, I *knew* I had to teach my little chavalitas, my little girls a lesson - I had to show 'em discipline. So I got your poster, man, and I got it and I ripped it up and I burned it! And they ran after me going 'Daddy? Papa, papa, por queeee, por que, por que, whyyy, why did you rip that poster?' SHUT UUUUP! Don't disrespect me!" "Ese ese, you know what man, that's exactly, that's exactly what I'm talkin' about, holmes. You don't respect NO ONE, ese. Huh. You know what, man... The reality, ese - man - you're jealous. You're jealous of me, man. You know what, man - see, you know and all these gavachos know that I'm the better wrestler, holmes. I'm more good looking. The People's Champion? Orale, ese, hey man - lemme tell you something. I got the hottest haircut goin' on in America today, man. NOBODY, ese, nobody can wear the mullet like I do. I mean, ese, come on, man, this should be called the People's Mullet."

I think Bret's a better authority on what was a better match with Owen then you are. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then all of you have to agree with me that Bret/Shawn ironman is one of Bret's best matches ever.
