    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

Both good choices. I was hoping people wouldn't think less of Rivaldo just because of the way his career tailed out.. in his prime he was the best left winger/attacker going.

Gert T isn't picking yet so MFerXtreme87 is offically on the clock. I'll pm him anyway.

Cheers Hawk. Good pick with Red too, shame his career was derailed.

Jorge, you need to pick again, and 909 is on the clock as well because of the 12 hour rule.

Triple H vs The Rock First Smackdown Shawn Michaels as the guest referee.. this match is by no means a classic, but Michaels turning on Rock at the end with the superkick (only not to be seen for months after!) made this match for me.

    All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

Gory Guerrero The head of the most famous wrestling families in wrestling, and the inventor of the camel clutch (or as he called it, the La de a Caballo) and of course, the Gori (Gory) Special. A premier wrestler indeed.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

I've taken Derby from the Championship to third placed finish in the Premier league with this tactic in three years. It's not bad.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

Gert T won't be making his pick as he's away and couldn't send me any names, so he's asked to pick when he gets back, so if we get to Gert T, just pass him by.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

The man that puts Steven Gerrard into central midfield and rips away the right-wing spot for his own.. The star of the 1970 world cup, scoring seven goals, and the 1974 world cup.. Brazil's own.. Jairzinho Sivy has his defensive partnership.. they'd up up against the Brazilian partnership of Jairzinho and Pele, who together worked wonders. In fact, here they are: No defence in the world could stop them.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

Sivy has just text me, his Internet is down so he's sent me these picks: On behalf of Sivy Two central defenders, in fact, when both fit, are England's current defensive partnership, the two best English defenders in the world today, and an asset to ANY team due to their ability to work together. Ladies and Gentlemen.. Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand and Chelsea captain John Terry.

The "Night of Champions" PPV Thread

Due to this past week on Raw, i'm probably even more excited about this NOC than I was last years (and due to the Benoit/Punk match, I was very looking forward to it. Nitro/Punk didn't disappoint). And Jericho not having a match yet but all titles being on the line suggests we might see something very impromtu. Either way, if I lived in America, i'd even consider paying for this.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

One of the attacking midfielders who will play off of Pele and give him tons of assists, and score a ton himself, is Liverpool's own talisman, the man who almost single-handedly took them to the 2005 Champions League final and win.. Liverpool and England's driving force.. Steven Gerrard

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

He's a midfielder but he does play very forward and contributes a lot of goals playing just behind the front men. Huss, your formation seems to have one constant.. 909, Sivy isn't your number one fan. He wanted Baresi and will grit his teeth though, he has awesome backups in central defence.

    All-Time Football (Soccer) Team Draft

On behalf of Mysterio Eskimo Wiki: Lothar Herbert Matthäus (born 21 March 1961) is a German former football player and now manager, currently managing Israeli club Maccabi Netanya. In 1990 he was named European Footballer of the Year and World Soccer Player of the Year after captaining West Germany to victory in the 1990 World Cup. One year later, he was also named the first ever FIFA World Player of the Year. He has played in five World Cups (1982, 1986, 1990, 1994, 1998) more than any other outfield player, and holds the record for the most World Cup matches played (25 games). He also won the 1980 European Football Championship, and played in Euro 84, Euro 88, and Euro 2000. In 1999, he was again voted German Footballer of the Year. He is the most capped German player of all time, retiring with a total of 150 appearances (83 of them when the team was called West Germany) and 23 goals for the German national team. Maradona said about Matthäus: "he is the best rival I've ever had. I guess that's enough to define him". During his career he usually played as an Attacking Midfielder or Defensive Midfielder however later in his career he played as a Sweeper. He was renowned for his perceptive passing, positional sense and well timed tackling as well as his explosive shot.
