Wigan Athletic 19. Manchester City 20. Reading Now, i'm not expecting a huge surprise team, but I think Sunderland will have a good season.

I obviously speak with biase, but the general concennus (sp?) is that Billy is going to bring in a LOT of new players, we aren't in ANY financial trouble any more, we haven't been for over a year now (£1m for a 31 year old striker in january last year) and I have a feeling if we can stay up this season, with the money coming in the year AFTER, we might just start to do something special. Obviously, if we can keep hold of Davies the manager, and Barnes, and to less of a degree, David Jones, who I think was the best complete midfielder in the championship last year. We're getting linked with everybody from Robbie Fowler to Dia Kamara and Robbie Earnshaw. Oh, and the Daily Mirror is trying to get us relegated already, they're constantly linking us with Francis Jeffers. David Nugent was spotted in Derby last week too, but that was probably just visiting half of Preston's old coaching staff who work at Derby now. It's certainly an exciting time for Derby, we're entering the season with NOTHING to lose, and everything to gain. How about we make some predictions for the end of the season? I might just write up a 1 to 20 league standings at the end of the season in a bit.

Ah, I forgot we have a resident Pompey fan on here.
-
Our start isn't the worst. Portsmouth, I think Man City and then Tottenham.
-
This West Ham thing is still dragging out. The Premier League fixtures for next season are released tomorrow. There's a strong rumour from a reliable source that Derby's first game is at home to Villa.
-
Yeah, with a few weeks of buildup, any of those could be credible.

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.

You know, no matter how many times I re-read this, the part about Mysterio walking around the ring doing McMahon's power walk, if only for the mental image, is pure gold. -
The email thing is a good idea. Is there any way of measuring the 'ratings' for the show?

He's Paul Heyman's personal project was the last reason.

I'm not able to watch Raw tonight, but I think we've not established that Jesse Ventura hasn't aged well.

Taker probably wants some of those jobs back, i'll give you that. Batista and Khali won't go long..
-
Who the hell is Khali going to fued with on Smackdown, apart from Kane, again?
-
Yeah, I think that was the TSM Radio he referenced. If I'm still up over here in England and can call in, I might just.

HTQ, I have no knowledge of WCW in 93, but Too Cold Scorpio defeated Chris Benoit(16:57) Scorpio pinned Benoit. Would he have been that much of a jobber to go nearly 17 minutes on PPV?
-
Actually, that kit DOES look a lot more like Portsmouths on closer inspection.

Yeah, as Zio just said, if you don't believe his words, simply watch the video. -
If that's right Jingus, you've just answered a question about my forum that's been bugging me for months.

I don't know, it's a nice off the shoulder look..

WWE General Discussion for June 2007
TheFranchise replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Funny you should say that, when Lance Cade came out sporting his latest makeover, he looked a double for a Stunning Steve. -
Sheffield Wednesday are set to sign Derby County goalkeeper Lee Grant, according to the player's agent. Grant's current deal expires next month and he has rejected Derby's offer of a new contract. Owls manager Brain Laws is on the look-out for a new keeper and is understood to have agreed terms with Grant. And a move will be finalised when Grant returns from holiday. "Lee is very much looking forward to joining Sheffield Wednesday as first-choice goalkeeper," agent Gino Culbertson told the Sheffield Star. "Terms have been agreed. The formalities will be completed when Lee gets back from holiday."
-
You might as well have Lee Camp while you're at it. There was once a chance when he was the next England keeper of the future, but for some reason Bywater's been preferred.
-
Actually, Lee Grant is being released. Top class keeper, his only fault was being at a club with a good turn out of quality keepers.
