I think that Darryl Hall is a great vocalist, but never gets any credit simply for being a member of Hall & Oates. Damn that Oates.

I love The Final Cut. I think it's their best album. I love the theme, the music, the lyrics, etc. Waters' nasal whining is the only thing I don't like about the album. Gilmour has some great solos on the album as well. As for who my favorite vocalist of The Floyd is, well, I'm a Syd mark.

I see a thread about The Floyd and I'm hooked. Here's some stuff for ya, Edwin: Obscured by Clouds Ummagumma A Saucerful of Secrets The Piper at the Gates of Dawn Tonight Let's All Make Love in London Zabriskie Point More If you can find it, there's a import cd (if you're American, that is) called Anthology I. It contains the first recordings as The Pink Floyd Sound from 1965, with Bob Close as the second guitarist. Also, check out some barrett solo stuff. It's an acquired taste, but who knows? You may like it.

Poll Shows Americans are Incredibly Misinformed...
B. Brian Brunzell replied to a topic in Current Events
Wow...just WOW. And we Americans wonder why we're the laughing stock of the world. -
Bruce is a little more than "nothing special", but he's not Halford. Rob can outsing just about everyone alive. He's still the Metal God. I have to agree with mespher. i[]The Final Cut[/i] is the best alum The Floyd ever did. It's great from beginning to end. Some of Gilmour's best guitar work can be found on that album, especially "The Gunner's Dream."

Ok guys, let's have a WWE "writing session"...
B. Brian Brunzell replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
That's very true. But, they could punish all of us and skip Jindrak and actually use Test, as he fits the "big young gun" mold as well. -

But Zack, how many "big impact debuts" have the WWF fucked up in the last year? Who's to say this one won't fail either? If it happens, that is. -
I'm enjoying a nice apple.

My hatred for the VH1 lists began with the 50 Greatest Hip-Hop Artists, and continues with this. Although I don't particularly like the song, on cannot deny what "Smells Like Teen Spirit" did to music.

Meh, I don't like either idea. Foley should stay retired. Now he'll end up just like Terry funk. Retiring about 12 times only to come back two months later after each retirement. Give it up, Mick. I love ya and all, but give it up. If he just had an on-air role, it would be so bad, but I don't want Foley as a wrestler anymore. Maskless Kane is NOT a good idea at all.
