TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Ok thanks for the warning dude. -
BTW John Cazale should get some award for being in the three of the top 5 movies of the 70's. Godfather, Deer hunter and Dog Day Afternoon. Plus Godfather 2 and The Conversation. He made 5 movies and all are legitamte contenders for the top 50 movies of all time.

Weekend Box Office Report - 3/21/03 - 3/23/03
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in Television & Film
Ok would someone please explain the hard on for Willard? I am very happy that finally a Steve Martin movie makes a killing at the box office. He deserves after how great some of his flops were. BTW for next week it should be close between Basic & Head of State. Still Bernie Mac's on fire and I see Head of State taking number one from BDTH. -
Exactly. According to 99% of the board Benoit can do no wrong. EDIT: Plus Bret & Flair get backlash, Benoit never gets backlash.

Here's mine. BTW I've tried a few screenplays. One I near completed but it was a basically a Pulp Fiction rip off. I've had hundereds of great ideas but none that I've completed a script for. Hopefully this one I'll finish in the usmmer: "Finding Alaska" It starts with a 5 young teenage friends talknig about friends forever and that crap and something like that. Then they reunite in 20 years for the first time and all have taken different paths. One is a big shto actor and is secretly despised by 3 of the other guys. One is a struggling musician who is jealous of the actor. One is a computer analyst and is usually the peace keeper in the group, as he has no enemies. One is unemployed and very bitter. And the last one is an amateur pilot. Thep ilot getst hem ap lane and tehy decide to "Find alaska" by taking a tirp there for an adventure. Soemthing screws up and they lose control of thep lane and crash leaving thme alone in the middle of Alaska with little food, little drinks and nothing else. They search the place in teams(actor & analyst), (musician & unemployed) with the pilot left back with the plane he is injured form the crash. Sitting alone he begins to hallucinate form staring into the white snow and bright sky. After not fidning anythign they trace their way back to thep lane to find the body of the pilot missing. They get worried but assume that maybe he wnadered off and will be back. By morning he has still not come back so they got out to search. Same teams as teh previous day but this time as they search the musician gets shot. Unmployed tries to revive him but he's dead so the unemployed guy stumbles off looking for help and trying to spare himself. Time passes and unemployed sees theo ther two and as he tries to tell them what happened he is attack form behidn by a big man. The man starts stabbing the unemployed guy until he is knocked offv by the actor(redeeming himself for his cikciness) using a frozen piece of meat which they brought along hoping to cook on the plane. The man is beat to death and the three friends walk on desperate for help. Soon after the unemployed guy can't go on and is left behind as the actor & analyst walk on. They get to a cabin where they look inside to see the pilot tied up and dead witrh bites taken out of him. The analyst takes the rifel(he picked up off the man who killed unemployed) and aims through tyhe window waiting for someone to shwo up so they could kill him. Suddenly form behind the actor is stabbed and after a strggule the analyst shoots the second man(obviously a cannibal) and from inside the cabin call search and rescure. They hide the bodies of the pilot and cannibal and are rescued and fly home. That's a roughy copy details aren't hammeredo ut yet. BTW if anyone knows who he is I want Sonny Landham to play one of the two cannibals. And yah this is reminiscent of Deliverance but I'd try to make very different.

Is there anymore orj ust Flair & Colon.

From what I hear Rumble 89 is copy protected since I tried to copy it a while back but it wouldn't go. Ditto for SS 87. And I copied Macho Madness from late 88 recently with no problems.

9. Hmmmm.....Carlos Colon? He's might've ofught at Starcade 83. I don't remember the show that well. 3. Henry Godwin? No idea on the second use of "fuck".

Booker T - bladed against Show Stevie Ray - can't recall Koko B. Ware - never bladed in the WWF to my knowledge Elix Skipper - I'm pretty sure he's bladed Mark Henry - I think he's bladed once or twice Ice Train - Never Zeus - Never

1. Who attacked the British Bulldog during the November 93 Clash of the Champions? Steven Regal 2. When Rick Rude faced Dustin Rhodes for the U.S. title on WCW Worldwide (the match that resulted in the title being held up for several months) - who was Rhodes' originally scheduled opponent for that bout? Maxx Payne 3. Who gave Triple H his first free TV loss? Duke Dumpster Droese 4. During his brief TV title reign, what current WWE star did Larry Zbyzsko lose to via count-out due to Lord Steven Regal's distraction? Steve Austin 5. Who did Virgil warn after his bout at the 1992 Survivor Series? Bret Hart 6. Who did Steve Austin lose to in his final TV match in WCW? Randy Savage 7. At both the January 95 and 96 Clash of the Champions, an explative was clearly heard. Name the two wrestlers and broadcasters involved in the incidents. Heenan said "Fuck off" to Pillman and I'm guessing Tony said it to no idea who. 8. Who interrupted the marriage ceremony between Col. Parker and Sensational Sherri? Madusa 9. What wrestlers participated in both Starrcade 83 and Royal Rumble 93? Ric Flair 10. Why could it be said that Shawn Michaels was at a mental disadvantage going into his title match with the British Bulldog at the final SNME?

- Steiner's purple thong at the Rumble - During Raw last summer when Book was about to face Brock and the nWo confronted Brock. Shawn gets in his face to a pop. Nash gets in his face to a louder pop. Big Show gets in his face to...silence - The HHH forklift driving during Show/Book - Whenever Tony would say "This is the biggest night in the history of our sport"

How very, very true.

EDIT: ASorry double post

Have Big Show continue giving gifts to Taker and then one last one at WM. Taker opens the box and Tenacious Z comes out. Taker beats him up and rips off his prosthetic leg and beats him with, before hitting the Last Ride on the one legged man. While thisi s happening have JR take over on commentary and blab about how "he's a one legged man in ass kicking contest". Sad thing is I actually thought this could've happened a little while ago.

Atlanta booed the Canadian national anthem and no one's bitching about that. Canada disgarees with the war(for the most part including our leader) so we show it. It's not like those morons in Detroit booing Oh Canada for the hell of it.

Memories of first live event
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to cawthon777's topic in The WWE Folder
First show I saw live was form 1996(???) in the Corel Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. Here it is from Caw's site: WWF @ Ottawa, Ontario - Corel Centre - August 4, 1996 Carl LeDuc pinned Justin Bradshaw with a roll up WWF Tag Team Champions the Smoking Gunns defeated Henry & Phinneas Godwinn, the Body Donnas, and the New Rockers in an elimination match after the Godwinns were counted-out; earlier eliminations saw the Godwinns defeat the New Rockers and Body Donnas Marc Mero pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley by blocking a sunset flip Yokozuna (sub. for Ahmed Johnson) pinned Goldust with a legdrop Owen Hart pinned Aldo Montoya with the Inziguri Steve Austin pinned Savio Vega in a No DQ match after a low blow Psycho Sid (sub. for the Ultimate Warrior) defeated the British Bulldog WWF World Champion Shawn Michaels pinned Vader with the superkick The Undertaker pinned Mankind with the tombstone More interestingly I had the chance to see Bret Hart vs Ric Flair in 1992 but didn't go. And I have never seen either live. My second show was the night after Montreal so I just missed Bret. -

Should they make Lawler a real heel announcer?

Curt Hennig would've been great. Back in 1995-96 he made McMahon watchable on commentary. -
