SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No he doesn't his hand chopped off. The fire starts and he reaches for his ring grabbing it just as the fire explodes. He climbs out of the window and goes down on the ladder. When he lands he tries to walk back but slips on some spaghetti he threw out earlier and then the ladder falls but stops inches away from his face. You want the rest of the scene?

Konnan Says WWE Lockerroom Now Is Worse Than WCW's
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Well Konnan's "friends" to my knowledge are Rey Mysterio(jobbing to Albert), Eddie Guerrero(sort of floating in uselessness right now) and Chris Benoit(doing very well). So he could've heard that from Rey or Eddie. Or maybe he's friends with Book & Jericho on Raw. They I wouldn't be surprised. -
In the Bret Hart desire video available on Kazaa he says that phrase. But if you need on tape just get any Raw from 1994-1998 and you'll hear it. The Austin you'll need a Raw from late 96-late 97. As for the song I'd use "Hate Me Now" by Nas f/ Puff Daddy.

I have all of the PPV matches and some of the sergemtns(April,May 1997). And I am soon getting some of the July/Auugust 1997 Raw stuff. I have all the big matches though.

Who is the greatest face of the past 30 years?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin posted a topic in General Wrestling
Why say ever when most haven't seen many of the great faces form the past(inclduing me). We often see arguments as to whether Flair, DiBiase, Hennig etc. is the greatest heel but who do yuo think is the best face based on popularity, money made, and based on whther the fans have ever turned on them or their act gotten stale? My picks: 1. Sting - Yah I know Hogan is the most obvious choice but the fans turned on Hogan more than once and his act gets stale every so often. Sting on the other hand remained the number 1 babyface in WCW from hsi debut at Starcade 87 all the way to his last match on the last Nitro. He's been booked through more shit than anyone(Black Scorpion, Robocop, Shockmaster), he's put over everyone they've asked him too and still never was turned on by the fans. Want proof? Watch 94 WCW and see how, despite the mega-push for Hogan, Hogan never even touched Sting's fanbase and how when turned heel he remained the most popular star in WCW. Next 4 without write-ups: 2. Hulk Hogan 3. Ricky Steamboat 4. Steve Austin 5. Bret Hart That's my list and now what are yuors. -
Who is the greatest face of the past 30 years?

Another point about the Hogan/Austin argument. Austin was huge because he hit his peak right during the rebellious phase of the late 90's. Stuff like South Park was gettign big and austin appealed to everyone. But transform that to 1985. Would Austin be a face or a heel? My money's on a heel because the people in those days wouldn't cheer for someone like Austin. Hogan on the otherhand is loved in 83, 93 and 03. Hogan spans geenrations, Austin was only number one in his. -

Hmm I don't know how I messed up on that. Anyways, if Hogan isn't unique why is Austin? Look? Bad News Brown beat'em too it. Cool heel attitude? Kevin Nash & HBK beat him too it. Great matches in the ME? Bret & Flair beat'em too it. It's hard to define what makes Austin such a stand out, same as it's hard to define why Hogan stands out. Hogan brings a type of electricity to the ring whereever he goes and that pops the crowd. I stand by my comment ifi n 20 years Austin is still as popular then I'll chaneg my vote. -

And i'll add to that Lex Luger and Kevin Nash both of whom got the Hogan push after the fact. -

He wrestled SNME almost every week in the 80's and worked a lot of house shows. BTW did Austin get his own TV show? That anwers yuor question. -
Who is the greatest face of the past 30 years?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to TheOriginalOrangeGoblin's topic in General Wrestling
The main reason I believe Hogan is ahead of Austin is simple. When Hogan left gave so many guys Hogan pushes> More charismatic(Nash), better workers(Bret,Shawn), muscle guys(Luger, Warrior) yet none compared to Hogan. Austin did match Hogan and was up there with him for 4 or 5 years. But you forget, 20 years after Hogan first became he's STILL getting louder ovations than everyone(including Austin) and was mainly responsible for WMx8 not bombing. So if in 20 years Austin is still huge, then I'll consider him ahead of Hogan. -

Yah picture if Bret didn't come back in 1996. No huge Austin 3:16. Bret elevated him more than anyone else ever could have. -
Rock/Hogan sucked workrate wise but it is the PERFECT example of ***** booking. Basically the match gets **, if that. for the workrate but ***** for the story told, booking, crowd etc. Overall i'd give it **** just because it cannot be duplicated as Tim said.

Good interview. Lawler was more candid than Heyman and Hogan(duh) and this pretty damn entertaining. Lawler's also quite intelligent when it comes to the business and it was funny to hear him admit that the WWE begged Bret to appear on Raw X. -

This is actually pretty good. Lawler's a lot moreo pen than Heyman was. -
I'll have to say Corel Centre then. Corel Centre is right altough we get WWE like once a year if that. I'll sya Calgary for hottest city. MSG is close and so are Chicago, Montreal and Toronto.

No offense but I can do you one better. I was there the day AFTER SS97. The crowd was near riot when HBK mocked Bret and we were even more pissed off when the guys we came to see(Hart Foundation) skipped the show as did Mick Foley. The pothetic HHH/Shamrock ME didn't help. The show was absolutely atroscious and the crowd ready the riot during every break. Funny thing is I saw atleast two guys try to rush Hebner but couldn't get over the rail cause of security. Hebner looked legit scared although during the ocmmercial breaks HBK milked his heat for all it's worht by taunting Bret, pissing off the crowd even worse.
