If you make a rarities tape I would be very interested. Most traders have all of the standard available Bret stuff(including the shanw Survivor Series match) so that wouldn't sell as good as rarities. BTW make sure to add Bret/Savage from SNME in November 1987.

Ya he awesome. I don't know if this was visible live but at one point while Austin & Angle had him near elimination he STILL was able to spit out his gum and swat it out of the air with his hand.

Yup for the secodn year in a row Nas produces the best rap album(and one of the best overall) of the year. His newest "God's Son" is a melancholy of sounds, smooth beats and excellent rhymes featuring a few very heart-felt songs which will stay with you. Althoguh not as good as Stillmatic(best album of 2001) "God's son" features 14 tracks with 13 of them being good-great-magnificent. One weak track "Zoned Out" seems out of place and doesn't fit in with the rest of the albums quietly tragic sound. While "Zoned Out" is the worst many tracks compete for the best on the album. "Thugz Mansion" is yet another version of the 2 Pac original on his "Better Dayz" CD but, for my money, this is the best one. The nice acoustic guitar riffs and Nas's smoother voice(than 2 Pac's) really does bring out the soft sound of the song better. And the last verse of that song by Nas is absolute magic. Then we have "Last Real Nigger Alive" in which Nas settles with Raekwon, Puffy & Biggie and ofcourse gets in the obligatory shots at Jay Z(a nice comparison to the movie Scarface as well). "I Can" is a very upbeat song(a welcome change from the tragedy on most of the songs) and helps send a message to our youth. Then there is "Dance" in which Nas sings passionately and with heartfelt emotion about his mother who passed away this year and you can feel his hurt when he asks for "one last dance". Other tracks are all good as well with "The Cross" standing out among the rest. It's a powerful biblical song which was produced by(surprisingly) Eminen of all people. Overall only one weak song out of 14 is a great ratio. "God's Son" is a must buy and the best Rap album of the year. Plus it proves without a shadow of a doubt that Nasir Jones is the best rapper currently out there.

1. The Hart Foundation coming to loudest pop ever at Canadian Stampede. 2. The whole interview/spear angle between Bret and goldberg in Toronto. 3. Hulkamania coming to life at WMX8. 4. Mr. Perfect lasting to the final 3 in the 2002 Royal Rumble and for the Perfect-Plex he gave Kurt Angle. 5. Ric Flair and Sting fighting on the final Nitro(the whole match and post match antics).

Bret's promo a few weeks after WM13: "I would like to apologize to all my fans in Germany, in South Africa, all over Asia, in Great Britain, all my fans Europe, in Austrialia and most of all, all of my fans in Canada. But all my fans in the United States can kiss my ass cause the US is one big toilet bowl waiting to get flushed." That was an awesome promo. Foley's after the fans chanted for Austin during DX v.2 beatdown. Jake the Snakes promo right before This Tuesday in Texas and after he struck Elizabeth were things of beauty and chilling in every sense of the word. And ofcourse Flair cut two really awesome ones, one after winning the Rumble and one after losing at WM8. A lot more but those stand out.

Favorite / Least Favorite Battle Royales
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I like the Late-93 Battle royal where the last two guys(Ramon & Martel) had to fight for the IC title. There's also a decent one on some 1992 coliseum video on which Bret and Shawn fight for the first time(as singles). Tatanka wins it and it has 40 guys in it. The Smackdown one Superstar mentioned was terrible. As was the Wolfpac vs nWo Hollywood vs Goldberg one at Road Wild 98. -

Royal Rumble '90: Was Tony Shavonie annoucing?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
True he was the face but I still would've expected to bring up DiBiase's run sicne in 91 Piper brought up Martel's and in 92 Gorilla brought up Flairs. Schiavone was actually pretty good before, all the way up to Stacrade 1995(his last good commentating show). -
Royal Rumble '90: Was Tony Shavonie annoucing?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I actually hated his commentary in Rumble 90 because he completely no sold DiBiase's amazign run. Whenever Jesse would bring up how good diBiasde is doing, Tony would switch ot Hogan or warrior or whomever. -
Oh damn I missed ti saying that it was a $500 maximum.

Foley's speecdh the week after DX reformed when he ran down the fans for chanting Austin's name while Foley and Funk were beaten. Ric Flair's speech on the final Nitro.

He was one of the most over wrestlers in the WWF at the time so I wasn't surprised to see him end it. That's pretty scary knowing that Beefcake was, by gawd, popular! BTW my mistake Barron the pre-WM match Perfect did win I got'em mixed up.
-
Well I have a tape called WWF Raw Prime cuts which features all the best Raw moments of 1993 if that helps. Plus I have random Raw matches form those years. If there are any specific you want just ask.

Perfect lost to Hogan on the SNME right before WM6 and that ended his streak.
-
Definetely a forgotten PPV. Eddy/Ohtani is ****1/2 and by the end of it Ohtani is more over than half the WCW guys because he is such a dickhead. Flair/Sting/Luger is 3 matches in one basically, with Luger putting on one of his very best performances. Flair/Savage as a match isn't great(they had both already wrestled oncE) but the Horsemen antics and blood make it worth while. And Schiavone doesn't embarass himself on commentary.
-
Here are the tapes I am currently on the look out for. Preferrably traders in Canada but I don't mind US. And I prefer trade but will buy. Royal Rumble 1989 Royal Rumble 1994 Starrcade 1988 Great American Bash 1989 Clash of the Champions 1 One Night Only(UK Version) If you have any or all of those reply.

The Hart Bros. vs Steiner Bros. tag match.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin posted a topic in General Wrestling
I would give it ****3/4. It would've been ***** if not for ending. IMO the bets tag match in WWH history. What do you guys think? -
I'd give it around ****1/4

That Hogan/Sting match was their first ever meeting and Hogan played the babyface for most of it they switched half-way through when they got the message that crowed loved Sting much more than Hogan. The match was rather good btw and one of Hogan's best in WCW. And the DOD interfered to further the feud between the 'Hulkamaniacs'(Hogan and whoever) and the DOD.

Well I am from Ontario is that helps. If you have specific requests or any questions email me at [email protected]

Here are some: "Guess who held me down?" Below: Picture of HHH grinning " X Pac is fired but he STILL sucks" "Hogan was here" Under it: June 4 1845 "I was there........when HHH held down RVD. I was there when HHH held down Booker T. I will be there when HHH resorts to holding himself down"
