Sorry was out of town unexpectedly. My picks: Gene Upshaw, LG - 7x Pro Bowl - 11x All-Pro - 2x Super Bowl champ - 1970's All-Decade team - NFL 75th Anniversary - Time to start bolstering the O-line and he's the best guy left. Absolutely dominant, very consistent and could block anybody. and Franco Harris, RB - 9x Pro Bowl - 7x All-Pro - 1970's All-Decade team - Super Bowl IX MVP - A member of the 10,000 yd rushing club - I need some form of offense and RB's are going much quicker than WR's so I have to grab an elite one. It doesn't get much more elite than Harris. A perfect combination back who could run for power as well as for speed. Was instrumental in the Steeler's dynasty of the 1970's and will be the cornerstone of my running game.

Scorpio is one of the all-time biggest cases of "should've been a star".

'Exodus' by Bob Marley & The Wailers (1977) - The lack of Bob Marley so far is mind-blowing. It's Bob Marley, what else needs to be said? Arguable whether this is his best CD but it's my personal favorite and is a great vibe to have on an island.

X Pac - Before the whole X Pac heat thing, he was insanely over both as a face (in the WWF) and as a heel (in WCW). He was also a great worker who cut a good promo. Him and Juvi will be my marquee cruiserweight match-up. Juventud Guerrera - The start of my cruiserweight division. Has been over his entire career and could put on some insane spotfests. He'll be useful in putting on high quality exciting matches that get the crowd going.

To add more scoring to an already potent line-up: Steve Shutt, LW - Averaged almost a PPG in 99 playoff games (98pts), had 4 seasons of 45+ goals (including one where hit 60), is a +393 for his career, a phenomenal two-way player, 3 time all-star, hockey hall of famer, 5 time Stanley Cup champion etc. Shutt is another solid two way player who is consistent giving me Kariya, Zetterberg and Shutt as my left wings which is, unquestionably, the best LW stable so far. Plus, another proven winner, never can get enough of those.

I figured if Malkin, Thornton, Heatley and Spezza were already taken then it's a good time to take Hank. He's no worse than any of them in my book.

May be a reach or may be a steal depending on your point of view: Henrik Zetterberg, LW - He obviously doesn't have the longevity of nearly anybody else picked so far but he has gotten better every year of his career (in everything from PPG to +/-) and, even, if this year was his peak - it was one hell of a peak. Best penalty killing forward in the NHL this season and one of the best playoff performances in a while as he was dominant on both ends of the ice and, it seemed, like he never left the ice or got tired. He can do everything from grinding out goals as a checker to highlight reel goals and is as fast as just about anyone in hockey. If Malkin was already picked, Zetterberg is a steal in my opinion.

I liked Zohan but then again I like most Sandler movies outside of the extra sappy ones (50 First Dates etc.).

FUCK!! TD was my next pick. Jack Ham, LB - 7x All-Pro - 8x Pro bowler - 75th Anniversary team - Al 70's team - 20/20 club A leader who had some of the NFL's all-time great instincts. He led the best defense of all-time and now reunites with Green to anchor my defense. Mike Haynes, CB - 5x All-pro - 8x All-AFC - 9x Pro bowler - 75th Anniversary team - All-80's team With Greene and Ham anchoring one half of my defense, Haynes will anchor my secondary. It'd be hard to find 3 better guys to lead a defense.

Riggins is the only "for real?" pick so far. Major reach in my opinion.

I'm happy with how I drafted. The one regret I have is taking the Fantastics so early since I think they would've lasted until my next pick. Then I would've gotten Furnas and Lafon, who I really wanted. The guy I wished came to me but didn't was Jeff Hardy. The Hardy Boyz were one of my most desired teams.

My picks, I'm tired so write ups to come later: North/South Connection (Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch) and Fit Finlay Finlay is a solid midcarder who can talk enough to get over and work a great style that would go over well anywhere. He could work with basically anyone (and easily transition between heel and face) which is a big plus. Adonis/Murdoch are one of the most overlooked teams ever. They're a great complement to the tag division.

Too tired to write up something but my pick is: Sergei Gonchar, D Now has 8 straight seaons of 50+ points and is one of the all-time great powrplay defensemen.

Fuck both my next tag picks (AMW and Furnas/Lafon) are now gone. Back to the drawing board.
