George Karl - Missed the playoffs only once in his career (not counting 2 seasons where he got fired) - Made the NBA finals with the Sonics Most of my team can coach themselves really so they just need someone who's good at creating mismatches and doing timely substitutions which Karl was great at with the Sonics. His only downfall has been ego driven players or selfish shooters, I have none of those so he'll do a good coaching job I reckon.

Last remaining member of the 'Big 3' on the Canadians defense: Guy Lapointe, D - 4 time all-star - 1 time 1st team, 3 time 2nd team all-star - career +329 (21st all-time) - Hall of Famer; won 6 Stanley Cups - played for Canada in the Summit Series - all-around defined consistency Another leader to add to my team. He could score (622 pts in 884 games) but he more of a defensive stalwart and will make a great pairing with Chelios or I may split them up and draft a few more offensive minded defensemen.

Yah if I was in this when voting happened, I would've voted for groups of linemen.
-
Am I the only one wondering why Therien wasn't double-shifting Crosby and Malkin or Hossa in the second half of the 3rd? It seemed Babcock had Datsyuk and/or Zetterberg on the ice every second shift. Great finish though.
-
Wow how'd he not go earlier? I totally forgot about him!
-
Well I'm in all of them, might as well be in this one too.
-
Yah, I amazed Unitas was still available. And Lambert being off the board made it easier for me to choose a Steel Curtain member to lead my D.
-
Johnny Unitas, QB - Selected to 10 pro bowls - 9x all pro - First quarterback to throw for over 40,000 yards - Holds a record 47 game touchdown streak - 3x AP NFL MVP (1959, 1964, 1967) - 3x UPI NFL MVP (1959, 1964, 1967) - 2x NEA NFL MVP (1957, 1967) - 3x Pro Bowl MVP (1959, 1960, 1963) - 3x Bert Bell Award (1959, 1964, 1967) - 1970 Walter Payton Man of the Year - The greatest QB of all-time, before the 1980's atleast. Was an offensive force in an era where offense was in short demand and is someone that any offense could easily be built around, whether run or pass oriented. Also one of the toughest guys to ever lace up the cleats. 'Mean' Joe Greene, DT - 10x Pro Bowl selection (1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1979) - 11x All-Pro selection (1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979) - NFL 75th Anniversary All-Time Team - NFL 1970s All-Decade Team - 1969 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year - 2x NFL Defensive Player of the Year (1972, 1974) - 2x George S. Halas Trophy (1972, 1974) - 4x Super Bowl winner One of the most feared and dominant defensive players of all-time. He would often draw double and triple coverage and was still able to dominated offenses and change games all by himself. Plus his leadership is unquestionably top notch since he was the captain of the best defense of all-time.

I had a pick lined up but I can't believe this dude is still available: Reggie Theus, SG - Averaged under 18ppg only 4 times in his 13 year career - Career averages of 18.5/3.3/6.3/1.2 - One of only 2 men in NBA history taller than 6'6 to amass over 750 assists in a season - 2 time all-star - All-rookie first team - Played all 82 games in a season 8 out of his 13 NBA seasons (played 81 in another) Umm yah, didn't really think of him but when I realized he was still on the board, I couldn't pass him up. Could score in bunches and dish the ball as well as anybody his size. Was a team player who had no problems filling whatever role was needed while still producing. Great guy that is beyond what I was hoping for in a 12th man.

I don't plan on having a women's divison so not applicable to me. -

There's a few great draws left including some monster ones if you look into Japan. -
Bo still don't know Diddley. RIP to a legend.

Yah I was amazed he was still around. I had him pegged from the start and figured he'd slip for a while but I couldn't risk another round. -
All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

That's funny cause I had 3 teams on my want list. One I'm sure won't get back to me, the other two (one of which were the Fantastics) were toss ups but I just couldn't risk the Fantastics slipping by me and losing a possibly legendary Fantastics/Arn & Tully feud. -
All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

My two picks: The Fantastics - One of the most underrated teams of all-time. Their matches with the Midnight Express were legendary and I firmly believe had they been given more of a chance, Rogers and Fulton could've been huge draws. They were solid on the mic, great in the ring and both good looking enough to draw in the teen female demographic that the Rockers, Rock & Roll Express and Hardy Boyz capitalized on. They will most certainly feud with Arn and Tully. Pedro Morales - The first WWF triple crown champion and one of their biggest pre-Hogan draws not named Bruno. He was huge in New York and especially among the Latino community which, now more than ever, is a very viable demographic to market to. As a hard working, visible minority yet still proudly American he'll be my #2 face after Bret and will help my company expand into Latin America. With him and Bret both being 'worldwide' figures, I can easily run shows overseas with headlining faces who would already be popular and/or respected. -
Beautiful. Now to praying that the guy I want will still be around...
-
I definetely want it.
-
Hmmm tough choice here between defense and a guy I really want...went with the guy I want: Paul Kariya, LW - 39th all-time (5th out of active players) in PPG - 2 time Lady Byng winner - 7 time all-star - 4 time 1st team all-star; 2 time 2nd team all-star - 7 times played all 82 games in a season I shoulda picked a defenseman but I couldn't pass on Kariya. A top line of Bure-Yzerman-Kariya is too good to pass up. Doesn't get more explosive than that.
-
As an observer, I'm shocked Moon went before 3-4 other much more highly acclaimed QB's.
-
The Russian Rocket Pavel Bure, RW 5th all-time in GPG 22nd in PPG 5 times scored over 50 goals; twice scored 60 6-time all star Calder trophy winner Led the NHL in goals 3 times 1st team all-star in 1994; 2nd team all star in 2000 and 2001 - Probably the most explosive player in NHL history and one of the best pure scorers to ever lace up the skates. He'll be a great fit on the wing with Stevie Y.
-
Excellent picks.

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

The Hardy Boyz were who I was gonna pick before I remembered Slaughter, so much for that. Good thing I have 2 more picks saved up who are unlikely, but more possible, to get back to me. -

Sgt. Slaughter - Continuing my trend of guys who can both work and talk, here is one of the most underrated guys of all-time. Insanely over as a heel and as a face, I can feud him with basically anyone on my roster. Diamond Dallas Page - A great underdog face and someone the fans can rally behind. Always works hard, is good on the mic and can put on a pretty good match with the right opponent. I was gonna take a 2nd tag team here with DDP but I couldn't believe that Slaughter is still around so I can't pass him up. Now I got my next 2 picks locked in stone although I fear neither will make it back to me. -
Probably Calderon since no contenders need PG's so Ford will be traded to a lowly team.
