Somehow I sense Mo Cheeks being your next pick .
-
Dammit Chris, I've had Frazier down as my point guard from the start. I was very conflicted between him and Drexler, as to who to take first...I chose wrong . Although I'm sure Drexler wouldn't have lasted til my next pick either.
-
Sorry for the delay. I'm very happy that this guy is still around: Clyde Drexler, SG/SF First-team NCAA All-American (1983) Southwest Conference Player of the Year (1983) 10-time NBA All-Star (1986, 1988–1994, 1996, 1997) All-NBA First Team (1992) All-NBA Second Team (1988, 1991) All-NBA Third Team (1990, 1995) Olympic Gold Medalist (1992) 1 NBA Championship (1995) Named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996) Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Player Inductee (2004) Oregon Sports Hall of Fame Inducted (2001) One of only three players in NBA history to have posted career totals of at least 20,000 points, 6,000 rebounds and 6,000 assists

D'Antoni would be perfect for the Raptors. Just saying.

'We Can't Dance' (1991) by Genesis - I'm probably the only Genesis fan who has this as their favorite album but, for my money, it's the most underrated album they've had. With 3 of their best singles (Jesus He Knows Me, We Can't Dance, No Son Of Mine) and, in general, grittier and less poppy tracks than they had in the 80's, this is Phil Collins Genesis at their best.

I was hoping to get Dr. J but I didn't really expect him to be around by the time I chose. Hopefully atleast one of my next 2 picks sticks around though.
-
FUCK!! I was waiting for him to fall to me. Amazing choice Alf.
-
Argh! Another one I hoped would slip to me (Isiah). Ah well, one guy still left who I really want.

They didn't sell out any regular season games but they've sold out every playoff game. -
Damn I didn't think Pippen would go so fast, I thought he might slide down back to me.
-
I thought he meant that everyone's drafting by picking guys who you could build other teams around. Not specifically bigs.
-
Well once you get past Jordan and Magic (and possibly Bird) there is no one else who is absolutely head and shoulders above every else at their position. And MJ is hard to draft around anyway. Duncan is a top 10 all-time player and, for my money, fits this kind of team (each team will have atleast 4-5 recurring all-stars) better than anyone barring Magic.
-
It's funny there were so many close calls cause I was debating between Duncan and Olajuwan but went with Duncan and his superior passing skills.
-
Whose turn?
-
Tim Duncan F/C 2 time MVP, 4 NBA titles (3 NBA finals MVP's), Rookie of the Year, 10 times All-NBA (9 1st team), 10 times All-Star (9 times starter), 10 times All-Defensive team (7 1st team), Mr. Consistency, Mr. Teamwork etc.

Two good series. I have it: Penguins in 5 Red Wings in 7 -
I think you should make it that guys who qualify for both (Isiah, Phil Jackson, Lenny Wilkens etc.) can be chosen as either but once their off the board, they're iff the board for good. So if Jackson the player is chosen before Jackson the coach, Jackson the coach is out of the running.

Thanks, I like variety in my music.

To what end? To the end of my Senators fandom, it looks like. There's speculation he may be the new head coach. Yah these rumors are killing me. Although I really liked the Tortorella rumor that's been going around.

Surely I wasn't the only person who volunteered for this endeavor that suffered from no delusions of what it was going to digress into? I wanted to do it because I thought it would be fun to think about what I think are the 20 albums I'd want to be stranded with. Seeing as how there seem to be only two or three people in the draft that even listen to the kind of music I listen to on anything resembling a regular basis, I was under no illusion that I had a shot at "winning." In fact, when it comes time for the voting, I'll be shocked if I'm anywhere other than dead last. But, I sure am enjoying myself; this is the most I've actually thought about music, ever. It's funny cause if I were to choose anyone's list instead of mine, it'd probably be yours. But yah, I'm in the same boat. I know my tastes differ from everyone and I know I will likely finish bottom 3. Doesn't really bother me none.
-
How about a 12 man roster + a coach. Drafting coaches could be interesting, especially when it comes down to voting.
-
Hell yah! I'm definetely up for that.

Current top 10: Bon Jovi - 'Wanted Dead or Alive' The Eagles - 'Hotel California' 2 Pac - 'I Aint Mad At Cha' Genesis - 'Jesus He Knows Me' Ice Cube - 'Today Was A Good Day' Soul Asylum - 'Runaway Train' Jay Z/Scarface/Beanie Segal - 'This Can't Be Life' Marvin Gaye - 'Trouble Man' Red Hot Chili Peppers - 'Under The Bridge' Commodores - 'Easy (Like Sunday Morning)'
-
I agree. It's legal and it works so I can't fault Popovich but it should be outlawed somehow. It kills the game and really ruined what should've been a very fun series to watch.

Pachulia standing up to Garnett is kinda funny.
