Comments which don't warrant a thread.

Jeff Healey died. He was quite famous for being a very talented blind guitarist. Also appeared in 'Road House' .

Worst moments, by team: Toronto Raptors - Vince misses the shot that would've sent the Raptors to the 2001 Eastern Conference finals to face a very beatable Bucks team. He had a good look too so it was heart-breaking. Ottawa Senators - TIE: Elias beating Lalime in game 7 of the East finals in 2003 and getting destroyed by the Ducks in the finals last year. Pittsburgh Penguins - Mario retiring in 1997. Indianapolis Colts - TIE: The playoff loss to the Steelers a few years ago and this year's embarrassment against the Chargers back-ups.

So the Raptors have a good chance to make up ground on Orlando and distance themselves from Cleveland and what do they do? Lose to Indiana and Charlotte. Even without Bosh that's inexcusable. This doesn't really concern me come playoff since the Raptors seem to play better to match good teams but their habit of playing worse to match bad teams is really hurting their chances of getting home court.

Wow the great rap albums are going fast. I have 3 lined up that are still there so here's to hoping no one takes them.

He might be. He's one of three candidates at this point. I don't think you can throw out Chris Paul or Lebron James at this point, with the seasons they've been having. Kobe is absolutely sick, but is he having a bigger impact on his team than Lebron? If Kobe and Lebron switched places, would Cleveland be as good? Would the Lakers? I'm interested in opinions on this. I'd have to lean towards Lebron at this point. I've seen the Cavs win more than their fair share of games this season SOLELY because of Lebron. I remember a game against Toronto where Lebron scored something ridiculous like 25 of 27 4th quarter Cleveland points. Plus, he wasn't just shooting, he was doing everything (passing, rebounding, playing good D). And that is an almost nightly occurrence with the team around him. Even his averages are mind-blowing, no one has had that good of a stat line since Jordan. Kobe's been great and Paul has also been terrific but I think Lebron is definetely MVP this year.

The Raptors really need to stop playing down to the level of their opponents. They currently in a streak of games against NY (2), Ind (2), Minnesota and Charlotte. They should go 6-0 but so far they're only 2-1. This is their chance to get back in the home court picture but they continuously play to their opponents abilities rather than their own. It's very frustrating. Atleast TJ Ford looked great last night and Deflino's been on a roll lately (which offsets Anthony Parker's bi-monthly disappearance).

'Back In Black' - AC/DC - There are other albums I like more but I see them sticking around longer than this. The essential AC/DC album with a lot of the hits, great album tracks and their usual kick ass sound. Johnson's peak as a vocalist and great guitar work up and down the album. Pure balls out rock and roll does not get any better than this (well it does but someone already took 'Appetite For Destruction').

I think he's given enough to the franchise that he deserves the right to finish his craeer there if he so chooses. Not selfish in my opinion.

Yah I've got a few more lined up. Now that I know I'm not the only one looking at R&B, I need to decide when to take them. Should be interesting.

'What's Going On' - Marvin Gaye - The greatest soul album ever made. As topical today as it was back then and still one of the most well-written albums of all time. Marvin was ahead of everybody and poured his heart and soul into this album.

Dixon shoots a lot from anywhere on the court and complains about minutes. I'm really happy we got rid of him. Plus the Raps needed more size and, useful or not, Prezec is big. Plus maybe teaming with other Europeans will help him play more to his, supposed, abilities. Worked for Delfino. Also the Raptors got cash from Detroit. No lose situation for Toronto.

The Cavs didn't get Duhon. Smith, Wallace, Wally and West with a future pick. Good deal for all sides actually and I really have nothing more to say. The Cavs got better, the Bulls got different and the Sonics saved money.

I thought Shaq looked fine in the 2nd half once he got his jitters out of the way (his 4th quarter play was very good). His "presence" was especially huge in freeing up Amare to get boards and to move around. Shaq will work out fine and the Suns are no worse than they were before. Plus atleast now they have someone for put-backs and garbage baskets late in tight games (Amare has a knack for making the easy baskets look very difficult). I didn't like D'Antoni taking Nash out for long stretches like he did. I understand keeping Nash healthy for the playoffs but when a guy is as hot as Nash was to start the game, in a big game like yesterday was, you play him.

"Bo Knows" is my favorite. Although I have a soft spot for the 1998 "I Wanna Be Like Mike" ads that end with Larry Bird saying "I'm not gonna sing."

As much as I want to say yes, there are better players out there this year that deserves it. (See Ovechkin, Alex) Kovalev isn't #1 choice, I agree however he is on the short list with Ovechkin, Alfredsson and Iginla.

I'm curious, am I the only one who thinks Kovalev should get some consideration for the Hart trophy? And I'm a Sens fan saying this.

That would make the team better. Although I would find that hilarious. And I don't think the Wizards would do it. They already have Jamison at the PF position and i don't think Lamar is as effective at the SF. I still remember arguing with Laker fans about how good Caron Butler was and how stupid it was to get rid of him. He was the Scottie for Kobe's MJ right there and they gave it away for nothing. If that trade went through, the Lakers would become THE team to beat rather than one of the teams to beat like they are now.
