What's the most entertaining match of all
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Most Entertaining Match Ever: Rock/Hogan. No doubt about it. -
There was an awesome September 98 Raw. It had Austin with the Zamboni attack on Vince, Taker & Kane breaking Vince's ankle, Foley's first comedy stuff and the Rock's biggest win to date in a Rock/MankindShamrock vs Taker & Kane tag match.

Surprisingly decent read. As much as I don't like the guy, I can't really argue with success. He got everything for doing nothing in little to no time. Sad really.

I read an interview with him about that. He quit in 1965 when the heroin started affecting his sex drive. He had a choice: drugs or women. He said he picked women.

Hogan doing an Enziguri against Muta blew my mind. -
Redmond's British? By the article I thought he was American.

Yes it was but not the greatest moment in NBA history. I mean, hell, there was like 7 seocnds left in the game and Stockton got off a good shot too. And Jordan unretiring sure kills a lot of the aura surrounding that moment.

BOLD~! prediction: #1 is Jordan over Russell and Boone eliminating BoSox last year is top 10.

If you could change the outcome of the match...

When the guy would rather job the belt to the Brooklyn Brawler than Shawn Michaels, how is that being a piece of shit? He was willing to lose it to ANYONE BUT SHAWN MICHAELS at the PPV. hes a piece of shit for not doing what the man who employed him and his brother and family members for the past 15 years and went against what everyone else said and still put the title on... He was leaving the company and should have done the respectful job like all the workers before him did when leaving a terrortory. Not everyone gets to be like Austin and job to a guy they like on the way out...its still a part of the business. Shawn wouldn't job to Bret, so why should Bret have jobbed to him? If Vince was THAT into just getting the belt off him, he would've given Austin or Vader or Foley the belt before Survivor Series. -
Ditto. I understand the hate for Hogan's ring work but he's a top 5 promo man ever, IMO. He owns most of the guys on that list.

I would've had Bret not lose the WWF title to Sid the night after Final Four. Also, I would've had Savage win the 93 Royal Rumble. Savage/Bret would've been great and Bret going over would've given him a HUGE rub. -
Toronto: 1. Leafs - by miles. 2. Raptors - were huge in 01 when they came one shot away form the East finals. 3. Arognauts 4. Blue Jays - if this were the mid-90's they'd compete for #1, but now their dead last.

The Simpsons Cheers Saved By The Bell That 70s Show 24 -
Pulp Fiction

Same time slot so it holds true. SNL puts it's best stuff early and early-middle becasue more people are watching at that time. WWF also did this as evidenced by matches like hogan/Orndorff, Warrior/Andre etc. going first.

Surprisingly honest so far from Vince. I love the meeting with Bret: "Bret showed up 45 minutes late and I asked 'where the hell were you'. He said something about traffic but then admitted that he was watching the Flames."
-
Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Wow what a final 4. 3 QT movies and one that should be nowhere near a top 20, let alone a top 4.
-
I used to watch Hogan/Bossman every day. It was my favorite match. Those were the days.
-
Tied with Sean Penn for the best actor currently working in mainstream cinema, in my opinion atleast. Although I'm sure De Niro could take back the crown if he did something serious for once.

Yah I like the movie. Not a fan of Wayne himself. And hey one movie out of how many dozens he made.
