Workers 3 Biggest Wins, 3 Biggest losses
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
The Rock Wins: 1. vs Triple H, Backlash 2000 - Ended the Game's big heel run and cemented himself as the top guy by not getting overshadowed by Austin. 2. vs Hulk Hogan, WMX8 - Hogan put the Rock over HUGE and the Rock came out looking like a million bucks. 3. vs Mankind, SS98 - His first title win and the match that cemented him as a top guy. Losses: 1. vs Triple H, WM2000 - The first time a face has ever lost a WM ME and a win would've done so much for the Rock. 2. vs Steve Austin, WM17 - No explanation needed. 3. vs Triple H, Summerslam 98 - The match that MADE the Rock. Defining Moment: Beating Hogan clean at WMX8. -

Bret Hart Wins: 1. vs Yokozuna, WM10 - Made him the top guy once again and the WWF showed they had faith in him. 2. vs Steve Austin, SS96 - Showed the world that he could still go and that he was still one of the best after his hiatus. 3. vs Mr. Perfect, Slam 91 - The match that established Bret as a singles threat and established the sharpshooter as a deadly finisher. LosseS: 1. vs Shawn Michaels, SS97 - Do you even have to ask? 2. vs Shawn Michaels, WM12 - This match took something away from Bret which he never got back. 3. vs Yokozuna, WM9 - Bret's first, but not last, time getting fucked over by politics and it pretty much set him back a few steps. Defining Moment: Being hoisted up by his fellow wrestlers at WM10. -

The Features: • Fully Restored With 18 Minutes Of Added Footage Deleted Scenes • Commentary by Film Historian Richard Schickel • Leone's West: Making Of Documentary • The Leone Style Documentary On Sergio Leone • The Man Who Lost The Civil War: Civil War Documentary • Reconstructing The Good, The Bad And The Ugly Featurette On the Audio Re-Recording • Il Maestro: Ennio Morricone and The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly Featurette On The Composer • Original Theatrical Trailer • International Theatrical Mini Posters" The lord is GOOD!!! Two must buys .

Your teams biggest heartbreaking moment
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to Vern Gagne's topic in Sports
Toronto Raptors: Game 7...2001 Playoffs...Sixers by one... 2.7 on the clock, Vince shoots to send TO to the conference finals(and most likely the NBA finals)....and comes up a bit wide. I stiill have nightmares from that. Ottawa Senators: 1. One of the biggest underdog stories in hockey history as the worst team in the NHL 5 years running, pulls a miracle and makes the playoffs then takes the Hasek-led, East winning, Sabres to game 7. To overtime...but Derek Plante takes a shot from the blue line ending Ottawa's miracle season. 2. Conference finals in 2003. About 3 mins left in the 3rd after the Sens tied it early in the 3rd, a bad defensive breakdown leads to Friesen coming and scoring, taking away Ottawa's Stanley Cup. Indianapolis Colts: Last year was our year. We blow out Tennessee, dominate KC but then it all falls apart in New England. Toronto Maple Leafs: Where do I begin? Here's a general one. Making the conference finals 4 times in 10 years and losing to an inferior team EVERY time(LA,Vancouver,Bufffalo,Carolina). -

The ONE and ONLY Frasier Series Finale Thread
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in Television & Film
It starts with Frasier on an airplane and he tells a psychiatirst sitting beside him(Jennifer Beals) his recent past. Frasier and Charlotte say goodbye and she leaves for Chicago. Martin & his girlfriend get married(agfter a hilarious wedding build up featuing EVERYTHING going wrong). Daphne & Niles have the baby in a vets office with help of Dr. Jason Biggs and some woman. Martin and his girlfriend are then married in the vet office. Frasier gets an offer to host his own show with TV options in San Francisco while Roz becomes the new station manager when Kenny quits to be a DJ. Frasier tries to tell everyone he's leaving to San Fran to take the job but everyone misinterprets and thinks he's dying(very funny part). Eventually they all say goodbye and Frasier goes to take the job. Then we go back to the plane from the begining and, in a twist, find out Frasier's really on his way to Chicago to win Charlotte back instead of to San Fran which the viewer assumed... And it ends without finding out whether frasier got Charlotte back or not. Great finale. Funny, touching and none of the overly sentimental crap that Friends had. -

I find that sad as well, especially considering how superior the Frasier finale was. -

Well I finished the fianle and loved it. Easily one of the best finale's I've ever seen smoking both Friends and Seinfeld in that regard. Bye Frasier -
Terry, Howie, JB and Jimmy(or whoever the 4th guys is since it changes) are the best, barnone.
