Lex Luger's babyface run in 1993
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
SS93 is such a nostalgia show for me. The opener, the main event, Owen's turn and even that horrible "comedy" match with Doink, I love em all. And Luger is DEFINETELY over. -
Ah I have seen it. Starcade 95 is possibly a top 5 ever WCW PPV in my eyes with those two matches and a good triple threat. Althoguh Eddie/Ohtani > Benoit/Lyger that night.

Probably Zak on NYPD Blue. Although Kelly has had a successful string of guest runs on TV shows. Rest have done nothing. -
Phew. At times I scared we'd have Peyton on that cover.

My thoughts exactly. And the shit at the end was just terrible with the apartment followed by a group hug. -
What matches in wrestling history were emotional
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
Hollywood hogan vs The Rock, Wrestlemania X8 - I have never makred out that much in my life, period. For my money the most emotional moment in wrestling history seeing Hulkamania reborn. 10 Man Tag, Canadian Stampede - Hindsight(knowing what happened to half the people in the ring) makes it that much more emotional seeing the Hart family happy and celebrating. Bret Hart vs Yokozuna, Wrestlemania 10 - Bret's my fav wrestler ever so I LOVE the ending. -
Chris Benoit vs Triple H: They've done every possible combination except the one on one match. HHH has been doing pretty good lately and these two have always clicked. Shelton Benjamin vs Charlie Haas: Give'em 15 mins and let'em wrestle, I could see it being good. Think of more later.

Sue me, but I prefer that to Bradshaw. Atleast Vince can cut a heel promo without being insanely racist. -

Eddie, Eddie, Eddie

Best example you'll ever find. Also Austin gets some face heat against Bret at SS96 despite being heel.

Not to nitpick but that was actually on the March 1992 episode of WWF Saturday Night's Main Event. Thanks. Not to nitpick but it was the FEBRUARY 1992 SNME.

Looking to Trade for NWA/WCW Footage..
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I have a lot of WCW from those years and you do have things I'm interested in but I'm still a bit weary since the tape was made last time once you said you were sending the money the next day...but I guess your explanation will do. But ok, can you PM me the match lists of the those TV tapes for 1997?
