Make sure to state it's "ONLY IN THE US" so no matches that occured in Canada can be nominated. -
Top 10 wrestlers ever in U.S

Austin/Hart - Survivor Series 1996 Austin/Hart - Wrestlemania 13 Hart/Hart - Wrestlemania 10 Haven't really decided on the last...maybe Austin/Foley - Over The Edge 1998, Michaels/Foley - Mind Games 1996, or Austin/Benoit - Smackdown 5/31/01. Barry Windham ruled. I wish death on myself for not mentioning him. Interesting since my top 5 is the exact same except in the 5th spot is Savage/Flair from WM8. -
Your Survivor Series 2003 Predictions
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
World Heavyweight Championship HHH Vs. Goldberg All signs say Goldberg should win and Raw has become a lot better since he became champ...BUT he got the upper hand(by a lot) over HHH on Raw. So HHH comes out looking better but Batista/Orton(whichever they'll push) interferes costing HHH the match. Who Should Win? Goldberg clean by pin Who Will Win: Goldberg via DQ or interference Buried Alive Match The Undertaker Vs. Vince McMahon The promos leading up to this have been decent. And I prefer them than to having these two build their feud physically each week. Match will be shit but will be so bloody and overbooked many will think it's awesome(Vince rarely has horrible matches - cept No Mercy). Expect Steph to come back and, in return for the GM spot, screw over Taker. Who Should Win? Taker Who Will Win? Vince RAW Survivor Series Match Team Austin Vs. Team Bischoff (Booker T, Rob Van Dam, The Dudley Boyz, and Shawn Michaels Vs. Chris Jericho, Scott Steiner, Christian, Mark Henry, and Randy Orton) Stipulation: If Team Austin loses, Austin must give up his Co-GM job. If Team Austin wins, he gets to raise hell. Best built match of the PPV and the only one in which I really have no idea who is winning. I expect a good, hot old school Survivor match with everyone getting their big spots in. Eliminations will likely be: D-Von via Henry, Henry via HBK, Steiner via Book, Bubba via Orton, HBK via Orton, Orton via Book, Book via X, X via RVD, RVD via Jericho sending Austin packing. Who Should Win? Team Bischoff Who Will Win? Team Bischoff SD Survivor Series Match Team Angle Vs. Team Lesnar (Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Bradshaw, Hardcore Holly, and John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar, The Big Show, Nathan Jones, Matt Morgan, and A-Train) This match will not be that bad. Brock, Benoit, Cena, Show & Train(not counting Angle cause he's hurt) will keep iti nteresting by covering up for the rooks and Bradshaw. Who knows how holly will perform. Elimination: Bradshaw via Morgan & Jones, Jones via Cena, Holly DQ'ed for using chair, Angle via Brock, Train via Cena, Morgan via DQ, Cena via Show, Show via Benoit, Brock via Benoit. Who Should Win? Team Angle Who Will Win? Team Angle Ambulance Match Kane Vs. Shane This, unlike Vince/Taker, will be horrible with no redeeming values. That much will be booked to look interesting, this will suck. Expect blood, Shane bumps and, as someone said, a chokeslam through the ambulance roof or Kane being blown up by a bomb planted in his crotch by Shane(would you really be surprised?). Who Should Win? Kane Who Will Win? Hopefully Kane but I'm not so sure Cruiserweight Title Match Jamie Noble Vs. Tajiri 2nd best build of the night. I expect a good match with Nidia making her return costing Tajiri the belt while rey takes care of the Yakuza. Who Should Win? Noble Who Will Win? Noble Women's Championship Lita Vs. Molly I don't really care but Lita sucks, period. Who Should Win? Molly Who Will Win? Lita This PPV won't be that horrible especially since I legit have no idea who's winning the Raw tag match. -

Arguable. At his peak Windham might have been better but, post 94, Windham was BEYOND horrible. Arn stayed pretty consistant with only a marginal drop off in match quality. Plus Arn's mic work >>>>>>> Windham's. -

Are you asking me if those are good? If so, yes. Mania 17 is a top 5 WWF/E match for me. Just wondering what are the other 4 matches in your WWE/F top 5? -
Despite how much he sucks in the ring I've heard from DDP, Austin, Foley and Raven how Nash is one of the funniest guys ever outside the ring.
-
That's my favorite Jesse comment ever. "Gorilla how could you deny that Hogan paid Hebner off? Whoever touches Hogan gets disqualified!!!"
-
Moment: Screwjob Match: Angle/Taker - Just KILLED Angle Show: 2000 or 1999
-
Happens to me too. Happened with Madden 2004, GTA 3 and NHL 2002.

My favorite Survivor PPV is Survivor 89. Mark out value all the way. Fav match: Bret Hart vs Steve Austin, SS96
-
Main Event World Title Ric Flair vs Randy Savage, WM8 10 Man Tag Hart Foundation vs Team USA, IYH16:CS Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker, Ground Zero Hulk Hogan vs The Rock, WMX8 Tag Titles Chris Benoit & Kurt Angle vs Rey Mysterio & Edge

PPV's that get all the love that you hate
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Overrated: Great American Bash 89 - Sue me. Sting/Muta is nothing special, the Wargames is average. Only Steamboat/Luger & Flair/Funk are good-great. Best PPV ever my ass. Royal Rumble 2001 - The ladder match is good but Angle/HHH is bad and the Rumble is REALLY underwhelming and predictablr. Underrated: Slamboree 94 - This gets NO LOVE. Sting/Vader blowoff(as close as possible to one), Cactus & Payne/Nasties(ECW never did anything good), an intense Funk/Tully match, a much betetr than expected Regal/Zbsyco match and no crap. Halloween Havoc 97 - Eddie/Rey obviously, Savage carrying DDP to one of his best matches, other good cruiser stuff. Fall Brawl 97 - Best Wargames since 92, Eddie/Jericho, good undercard stuff. -
There's one currently playing up here in Canada: It shows the first American on the moon. He tlaks to Houston, all happy etc. and then gets ready to hit the golf ball. Suddenly a puck hits his helmet cracking it. The camera zooms over to show a Canadian on the moon shooting the first hockey puck. And its a beer commercial. I nearly died of laughter whne I first saw that.

Anyone actually enjoy RAW?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to Cheex Incarnate's topic in The WWE Folder
I've enjoyed Raw for about the past month(barring Shane/Kane). Much better than SD anyway. -
Can't match 10/86: Hogan/Orndorff, Roberts/Steamboat, Bulldogs/Dream Team 2/3 falls and a great Piper angle.

R. Kelly Career Thrives Despite Kid Porn Charge
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Music
I love R. Kelly's music so I hope he gets off. -
Barneys change, like RRR said, I can't get over. Yesterday's show had 2 funny moments: a) Batman dancing in the 60's montage b) And when Homer knocked over Frank "Grimey" Grime's tombstone. Nothing else was remotely funny. Do y'all remember when it was about the whole family and not just the homer Simpson show?

I have this on tape(and surprisingly many of the matches listed) and it blows HHH/Foley street fight from 97 out of the water.
-
yeah it was pretty good, and long from what i remember another one that i think it's from the next or previous Raw was Kane & Undertaker vs. Rock, SHamrock & Mankind. This was when Rocky was getting hot as a face and everybody loved him. And he got the clean victory over Taker, like for the first time ever. Plus Rocky, Shamrock and Mankind were somewhat enemies at this point so they punched and kicked eachother when they taged in and stuff like that. this match is in the Best of Raw DVD. Good thread One of my favorite Raws ever. It had Austin/zamboni incident, Taker & Kane breaking Vince's leg, Foley's first goofy promo and that match.

You, my friend, are a god. Thank you very much.

Ok this has been plaguing me for a long ass time. In the movie "15 Minutes" there is a scene where Kelsey Grammer's character gives a briefcase of money to the Russian guy. In the background there is a rock song playing with lyrics something along the lines of: "...you never said it was gonna be so easy....money making is a wonderful thing, money making is a wonderful thing..." I have done an extensive search narrowing it down to a rock group called "God Lives Underwater". I'm not 100% sure though. Can anyone help me with this?

Holy shit!! "A Special Night in Greenville" is the Horsemen reunion!!! It has the Heenan/Flair "REAL" Worlds Champ promos!!! THIS IS FUCKING AWEOSME!!
-
Yah and the fact that no Hart Foundation members and Mankind weren't at the showp issed us off a lot. Also made my "Bret 3:16 > Austin 3:16" sign useless.

November 10, 1997 Ahmed Johnson def. Marc Mero by DQ Taka Michinoku def. Devon Storm The Headbangers def. Recon & Sniper Jesse James & Billy Gunn def. Justin Bradshaw in a Bunkhouse Brawl The Undertaker NC Kama Mustafa Ken Shamrock NC Hunter Hearst Helmsley; show goes off the air before finish I was at that Raw. I believe Shamrock won by tap out and HHH showed his ass IIRC. HORRIBLE show as the crowd was too busy uttering death threats at HBK to care about the show.
