The Best Announcers
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in General Wrestling
I prefer Tazz & Cole over TNA's guys cause I can not stand West. -
From what I've heard Bischoff wanted Flair gone long before that and that was ifnally an excuse to get rid of Flair...but Flair doens't leave that easily as everyone knows by now.

Fall Brawl 97 is an overall great PPV. That Wargames is by far the best post 92. Only "new" Wargames that actually has emotion, intensity and hatred behind it. Plus a brutal a ending and a hot crowd. Fall Brawl 98 is atroscious.

Harts/Bulldogs where the Harts win the titles. Dynamite never got in the ring. At WM6 Andre was never tagged in.
-
I was cheering for Mosley but when that decision was announced I screamed out "What the fuck?". De La Hoya won, no ifs, ands or buts.

Durign a cage match between Savage & DiBiase. Savage, DiBiase and Virgil are fighting on the top of the cage when a fan scales the cage only to get a striaght kick to the face form Virgil which sends the fan flying to the floor.

1. Eddie 2. Jericho 3. Flair Honorable Mentions: Cena, RVd & Booker

John Ritter is dead at 55
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
Damn I was shocked to see this. I go online an hour or two back and I see in big letters "Johnny Cash dead". I wasn't suprised but then I look lower and saw the piece about Ritter. I actually enjoyed "8 Simple Rules..." the few times I saw it and the Problem Child movies are guilty pleasures of mine. Dumb or not, the first one has hilarious scenes. Damn Hines, Bronson, Ritter and so many more. Bad year for Hollywood. RIP John -

"How to Rob" - 50 Cent "I'll rob Pun without a gun, snatch his piece and run. Nigga weighs 400 pounds how he gonna catch me son?" "I'll Run up on Timberland and Missy w/the pound, like you gimme the cash and u put the hot dog down" "Caught Juvenile for his Cash Money piece, Told him I want it all he said, "Even my gold teeth?""

3 is too hard, you shoulda made it top 5 or 10. 1. Hart Foundation vs Team USA, IYH16: Canadian Stampede 2. Randy Savage vs Ric Flair, Wrestlemania 8 3. Rumble Match, Royal Rumble 1992 3 changes on a daily basis althoguh the first 2 are permanent top 2.

Yah I wanna see Why I Watch.

That Savage & Hogan hate Luger, Sting likes Luger storyline was actually pretty great. It ended with Sting & Luger breaking off I think and that should've led to a Luger turn...but never did. Thanks for finding that.
-
Hogan/Luger was actually a pretty huge deal back in 95. *calls for recap*

Bon Jovi, Period.

Has anyone ever been carried
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to cynicalprofit's topic in The WWE Folder
Nash/HBK is not ***** or THAT big of a carry. Nash was decent when he cared back in 96, he giving his all for his best friend AND it's a basic brawl with bumps from HBK. Bret/Nash is a MUCH better carry job, not 5* though either. Bret/Bulldog IS the closest you'll find. But I wanna add: Steamboat carrying Luger at GAB89 to a 4-5* match. -
The crowd was actually starting to get into The Rock's promo because it was so funny that it was hard to boo him. So he unleashes: Stronger then a bear Faster then a buck The biggest thing to hit Canada 'cause the Maple Leafs SUCK. The crowd wanted to kill him after that. Great stuff. I have that on my xcomp. Best cheap heat EVER. 2nd best is Bret's line about the US's anema being in Pittsburgh. Heyman sometime in 02 in Boston "By the way the Yankees have 26 world series, what do you have?"
-
Austin/Hogan bigger than Austin/Goldberg, Austin/Hogan either guy could go over and it would go smooth cause they seem to beo n the same page and both are cool with Vince. Plus at WM a Hogan match > a Goldberg match. Period.
-
A) Hogan will be back B) Hogan could protect Austin's neck betetr than Goldberg C) I'm probably alone but I want HOGAN to win clean at WM20 since it's MSG and all D) Austin/Goldberg doens't make sense since Vince own't job his boy to WCW's boy and Austin winning KILLS Goldberg
-
At first the thriller part of it was handled decent and it was interesting but Spoiler (Highlight to Read): the climax where they drug Lopez just REEKED of hollywood to me.
-
I'll take both Hogan/Vince(for mark value) AND Brock/Angle(for smark value) over HBK/Jericho, but that's me. I picked Benoit/Angle although I LOVED the TNA matches from this week and the cage match. London/AD was great as well and is probably the runner-up.
-
No everythign was good except for the thriller part of it. And the way it resolved was WAY too conventional.
-
I've seen it. It was good but missed out its chance at greatness. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): All of the parts about how immigrants live in London and about its underground are excellent. But the "thriller" aspect of the movie is disappointing and takes away from the grit of the story. Audrey was great but the main star(not her) who's name escapes me is that much better. One of the best performances I've seen all year. Fuck too lazy to find his name.

Bret Hart or HBK who would you pick?
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin replied to a topic in General Wrestling
I just said that cause someone above mep ut Bret wasn't as over as HBK. I'll take Bret in every possible category over HBK, like I already said.
