Bar none, one of the best ROH shows I've been to in a long while, much better than 5/15's shitfest. RANDOM MUSINGS~!: - Not one match was bad, and all the angles came off well. - Shelley did this really sick looking double stomp to Jay Lethal's knee/shin that looked like he Chong Li'd his ass. - Punk called Jack Evans "Flippy McGillicutty", and I laughed. - Gen Next did a cool beatdown to Colt Cabana, culminating with Aries sandwiching Colt's arm in between two chairs and hitting a 450. - Evans seemed to have had this really huge gash in his arm. It looked pretty deep from my vantage point (in the back row). Not Necro Butcher at TOD3 deep, but deep nonetheless. Speaking of Necro, every independent wrestling promotion should be giving that guy bookings. - Altar Boy Luke has the best entrance theme in the history of the universe. - Rocky Romero is such a great heel. - The pure title change was great, albeit a bit anticlimactic. The submission kinda came out of nowhere. Good match though. Both men were bleeding. Yes, Doug Williams' thigh blood counted. - The three way was a bit underwhelming. - The Scramble Cage was absolutely sick as fuck. Here's the bumps: - DeVito Moonsault from the top - Altar Boy Luke Swanton from the top of the cage to the outside - Fast Eddie Moonsault Fall-a-way slam (!) from the top onto everyone except Acid & Evans - Trent Acid hit an inverted rana off the top rope - Jack Evans attempted a rana off the platform but Acid took it badly, still looked sick - Finally, Evans wins it all with a ridiculous splash from the top. I think he did like two full front flips, almost like a double 450. I could be wrong though. - Plus, there were all sorts of wacky things going on in this match, like Jack Evans flippy-doo-da'ing all over the place, people getting suplexed and powerbombed into the cage, Fast Eddie getting heaved out of the door landing on the floor....If you like spotfests, this is the ultimate spotfest. It was so well timed, and so well executed...better than both previous Scramble Cages. In closing, I fucking love Jimmy Rave and worship the ground he walks on. Plus, he's the only man with the BALLS~! to kick out of a single-leg trapped Joker Driver!
