My first live TNA pay-per-view experience, I also went to the Wilson house show on Friday, and I must say it was quite the show. Definitely a small crowd, but it was also a VERY small venue. MEM was over huge, especially Angle and Sting. I hope the Sabin/Shelley match translated well on television as it was fantastic live. Did TNA ever note Jonny Fairplay's presence in the front row? I should also note that Vince Russo was sitting towards the back of the floor seats on the opposite side of the camera throughout most of the undercard. I believe he headed backstage after the Angle/Jarrett match.

Why not take a countout?

You could also add Hart Foundation vs. The Rockers and British Bulldog vs. Shawn Michaels to that list. I know they've just been released recently on DVD, but we'll see them again.

About as bad as I expected it to be. I like Kane, but his career hardly justifies a three-DVD set dedicated to it. However, I hope WWE continues this recent trend of career-in-review DVDs like Kane's, Eddie Guerrero's, etc., as it keeps the door open for a potential Owen Hart DVD down the line.

Poor MVP, although that was great.
-
It's nice to have an in-ring interview without the "What?" chants after every word.
-
Cody Rhodes is what the fans want to see.
-
Which was halfway off at the end there anyways. And Rey's career is looking shorter and shorter if his knees are really as bad as they seem. He just said "I can't feel my leg" it what looked pretty legit. Don't know about the end, but I think he injured his leg on that botched move about mid-way through the match.
-
So, Kane has him in a completely vulnerable situation and doesn't even make an attempt to remove the mask?
-
The title of the DVD would lead me to believe that it won't address any gimmicks prior to Kane. I just hope they don't attempt to present a WWE Films depiction of his "disturbed" childhood.
-
Don't forget the "New & Improved DX" DVD; six months of content somehow warranted a three-DVD set.

Impact goes live for one night only on 10/23
JustJoe2k5 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
WWA drew a solid crowd back in '02 for one of their pay-per-views in Las Vegas, I would expect TNA could expect the same type of turnout. WWA did have Bret Hart to promote for that show, but outside of that it was a very similar roster to what TNA currently has. -
Shame that it was either LAX or MCMG for the Monster's Ball match, I would rather see those two teams battle it out in a straight-up pay-per-view match than the Monster's Ball match.

I really like the look of the Guerrero set. I like that WWE has started to make "companion" compilations to earlier DVDs and this set will fit very well beside the "Cheating Death, Stealing Life" DVD.
