I seem to remember watching that Bret Hart vs. Chris Benoit match, does anyone remember the finish? I seem to remember it being unwanted interference from the nWo on Bret Hart's behalf, though I may be wrong. Mr. J.L. vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. was a very good match for Nitro, and surprisingly long. Seeing stuff like this always reminds me of just how much I miss WCW.

From The Offices of NWA Florida 2/26/04 The St. Pete National Guard Armory will never be the same again as NWA Florida runs their first ever show in the newly renovated building on 2/28/04. Due to circumstances beyond our control it appears that the officials of LXW are not legitimate, Ron Niemi and myself have been in negotiations with LXW for almost 5 months now to make this show come together. First off most of the top talent they promised us were not booked, then all of a sudden we started hearing from the workers that were on the show that they were in fact not booked by the LXW Offices, for example Chi Chi Cruz was supposed to be on the show and was contacted by NWA FL reps and told us no, he was never told about the Armory show and had his ticket to go straight into Miami on Saturday. LXW then started making comical demands of what they wanted out of the show, which was not fair to NWA FL fans or the promoters of NWA Florida, for example that we could not release the video footage for 6 months as they wanted first crack at releasing it, trying to make NWA Offices pay for their talent when the deal was that each promoter would be responsible for their own talent, and the lies, and twists and turns just go on from there! Every time they made a ridiculous request or change we called them on it, and they were so embarrassed they finally said they were not coming, being caught in lies is tough and the only way to save yourself sometimes is to run and hide. This leaves us at the following situation, we would love to have the LXW workers on the show, myself and Ron Niemi have worked too hard and too long to make this show happen only for LXW to start playing games the week before the show. We can only assume that their show in Miami is cancelled as they have no ring and most likely most of the talent has not been booked and they do not even have a ring arranged for the Miami show! The show will go on as planned with or without the LXW roster and will feature many surprises and guests to the NWA FL ring and the fan fest will go on as planned with NWA Workers taking pictures and signing autographs with the fans! NWA FL has been through a lot over the past few months and the loyal and devoted fans are the reason we are still here and will continue to be here. I am also proud to announce that we have signed an agreement with the Brandon All Stars Gym right off Highway 60 and we will be running 2 shows per month in Brandon beginning 3/13, and we will return to the St Pete Armory 3/20 featuring Danny Maff and the return of Steve Corino! With that all being said, ticket prices will change as follows! VIP Tickets will be $ 15.00 in advance and $ 20.00 at the door General Admission Tickets will be $ 10.00 in advance and $ 15.00 at the door. Anyone who purchased an advance ticket already will be refunded the difference when they arrive at the show! Credit IndyInsider.com.

How about their World Tour '96 match? I didn't even know it existed until I saw it on my Best of Bret Hart compilation. I haven't gotten a chance to watch it in full yet, but my guess is it'll be their usual solid bout.

Why does WWE always feel the need to give local independent talent shitty names. Ace Steel-Chris Guy Tony Mamaluke-C.G. Afi Next thing you know they'll have Low Ki going under his old XWF name, Kwik Kick.
-
Hopefully the PPV will be shown in the U.S. I have been wanting to see a little bit of IWS for a while.

Thanks for posting the full results. The show did look really good, and has to be considered one of JAPW's stronger shows of the past few years. Nothing beats Happy Justin Credible in your signature JC2K.

Do you have a matchlist for Cruiserweight Revival?
-
FYE also has Era of Honor Begins and Round Robin Challenge listed on their website. I might get Era of Honor Begins tonight, although I am a little mad they left Christopher St. Connection vs. Da Hit Squad on there and removed Boogie Knights vs. Natural Born Sinners.
-
Check MLW.com, they've got all of their lastest shows on video for sale.
-
It wasn't too long ago, but Shane Helms vs. Shannon Moore would've been a pretty good feud for a little bit in late '00-early '01 for WCW.
-
Don't forget that he also had Eric Bischoff kiss his wife and call her a "big-breasted beauty".
-
I doubt WWE will bring in anyone new for this Cruiserweight Open, the only person I could see debuting would be Nova and that is still very unlikely. I would take Sakoda out of BifEverchad's list and add Nova, that would be my list.

WrestleMania Top 10 Matches Special Announced
JustJoe2k5 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
I would rather see the WrestleMania 2000 Ladder match between Dudley Boyz/Edge and Christian/Hardy Boyz, I personally think it is the better of the two gimmick matches they had. Didn't they do a Top Ten Matches for WrestleMania last year? Just take out whatever #10 was on that show and insert either Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels or Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle. -
Doesn't Ring of Honor usually run in the afternoon? They would most likely be over before WWE's show started.
-
If TNA was to die today it would probably take another year for any other promotion to even get a good television deal. You think it's easy putting together a wrestling promotion from scratch, and then having to secure financial backing and a television deal? Major League Wrestling, although I liked them, tried the lightning-fast approach and failed. World Wrestling All-Stars tried the lightning fast approach and they failed as well. Ring of Honor is probably the smartest promotion by taking it slow and slowly expanding out of the Northeast.

Yeah, Brad Bradley has been teaming with Ryan Boz in IWA Mid-South for the past couple of months.
-
-Christopher St. Connection vs. Don Juan and Fast Eddie vs. Outkast Killahs vs. Ring Crew Express is the scramble match signed for the convention card. -April Hunter, Austin Aries, Brad Bradley, Danny Daniels, Harry Smith, Jerelle Clark, Roderick Strong, Slyk Wagner Brown, and Steve Madison are signed to appear on the convention card.

**BREAKING NEWS** Full Impact Pro's (Florida indy)
JustJoe2k5 replied to r4g's topic in General Wrestling
02.21.03 - FIP would like to thank everyone involved and all the fans who turned out for making Nowhere To Run a huge success! FIP's debut in New Port Richey was an incredible night of action with all of the stars of FIP putting on a tremendous show. Over 140 fans came out to watch a full night of action. Despite a verbal confrontation between FIP Security and a group of rival wrestlers from a now defunct organization everything ran smoothly. Our return to Bronco Bill's will be Friday, March 19th with "Elavate The Hate." Again we would like to thank each and everyone of the FIP fans that showed up to support the only true wrestling organization in Tampa Bay. That is from Full Impact Pro Wrestling's official website. -

Sounds like another great show from Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. I'm not surprised that Bobby Quance and Bryan Danielson delivered the goods in their match, but I am kind of mad B-Boy and Homicide lost the titles so soon after winning them. Next month's show should be interesting because I haven't seen any of the Japanese talent. -
March 6 is looking pretty good with Danny Daniels vs. Jerry Lynn, J.C. Bailey vs. Nate Webb, and Delirious vs. Matt Sydal. Thomaselli Brothers vs. Youthanazia should be good to.
-
Nice looking card, although I would've liked to have seen a C.M. Punk vs. Low Ki match, C.M. Punk and Los Maximos vs. Homicide, Low Ki, and Spanky should be great. Masato Tanaka is defending the World-1 title in Tokyo, Japan against Jack Victory on March 5.

Has there been any confirmed length for WrestleMania? Is it going to be the normal three hours or extended as earlier reports were indicating, I haven't heard anything about that in a while.

So what WWF and WCW PPVs weren't released to the
JustJoe2k5 replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
WCW's last three PPVs, and probably some of their best since '99, were never released. -
Disco Inferno also followed the stable around because he wanted to be a member, by the time they made him an official member the stable was dead.
