On Locker Room Scoops, RoH said the first DVD would be a 50-Minute version of Era of Honor Begins, that cannot be the entire show.
-
On the Monday Night War DVD they showed clips from a Juventud Guerrera vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. match that looked like it was from around '96, Rey Jr. was wearing a lime green mask and pants, I was wondering if anyone had a specific date for this match and any thoughts on how good it was. I would also like to know if there was ever a one-on-one match between Juventud Guerrera and Psychosis on Nitro or Thunder, and if so was it any good?
-
I wouldn't mind seeing them have a Japanese team put into the mix against Team AAA, and possibly debuting the Six-Sided Ring for the finals.
-
Where is Blitzkrieg? He was only in WCW for a short amount of time but was in three great matches against Juventud Guerrera and Rey Mysterio Jr. , as well as a four-way with Psicosis.

PWG ''Taste The Radness'' Feb 22 Santa Ana CA
JustJoe2k5 replied to PsychoDriver's topic in General Wrestling
I really hope B-Boy and Homicide retain the Tag Team titles, simply because they are such a natural tag team and seeing them together with the Tag Team title belts just seems right. -
Probably two of the stronger cards CZW has put out in the past few months. Everything between Chris Cash, Jimmy Jacobs, Joker, Ruckus, Sabian, and Sonjay Dutt should be good, and B-Boy vs. Teddy Hart should be great. I'm am praying that The Messiah gets the title off of John Zandig.
-
Chris Sabin will most likely get a second chance considering the breakout year '03 turned out to be for him. Sonjay Dutt will probably get his first chance, as should Deranged. B-Boy, C.M. Punk, Chris Hero, and Colt Cabana should also get their shot in the tournament. Fill in the last spot with either A.J. Styles, Amazing Red, Bryan Danielson, Christopher Daniels, or Low Ki and you're set.

I'm pretty sure the Raven deal was what drove them to add that to contracts. -
I bought the DVD last Friday at Best Buy and watched the whole feature as soon as I got home. I really like most of it, I'm glad Eric Bischoff hasn't been humbled by working with Vince McMahon, because he was definitely full of himself when they were talking about the tactics he used. The only thing that really got to me was the selection of matches and the lack of more extras, and Gerald Brisco's verbal blowjob to Vince at the end of the main feature. I hope they release a Best of DVD for WCW and the Cruiserweights after seeing what amazing quality WCW has kept all of their footage in. One quick question, in the feature they showed clips of a Mysterio vs. Juvi match where Mysterio was wearing lime green tights, can anyone give me a date of when that match took place because it looked pretty good from the clips they showed.

How did all of the "Pure Wrestling rules" play into the main event?
-
Sounded really ordinary for what should've been one of their biggest shows of the year. C.M. Punk going to the finals of the Pure Wrestling tournament was a pretty bad idea, and him possibly being managed by Bobby Heenan is even worse.
-
Ring of Honor gave Donovan Morgan a run as one-half of the Tag Team Champions, and in their seven month reign he was there to defend it only two or three times. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Ring of Honor put the title on their golden boy Matt Stryker.

London vs Sabin TNA HL Vid on Kazaa
JustJoe2k5 replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in TNA Wrestling
I also have that match on tape and I do remember really liking it. I can only imagine what a C.M. Punk vs. Chris Sabin vs. Paul London match could've been like. C.M. Punk vs. Chris Sabin, has it ever happened? -
And my guess for Bobby Heenan's Representative is Jerry Lynn, because they were already talking about bringing him in for the Pure Wrestling tournament a while ago, and I could definitely see him and Bobby Heenan working together.
-
My predictions for the Pure Wrestling tournament. -A.J. Styles over Jimmy Rave -Matt Stryker over Josh Daniels -Heenan's Representative over John Walters -Doug Williams over Chris Sabin -Matt Stryker over A.J. Styles -Doug Williams over Heenan's Representative -Doug Williams over Matt Stryker My predictions for the rest of the show. -Low Ki over B.J. Whitmer, Danny Maff, and Samoa Joe (I think he'll pin either Maff or Whitmer, building to a rematch between Joe and Ki from their Glory By Honor match) -Briscoe Brothers over Backseat Boyz -Special K over Carnage Crew (They have to continue this feud until March 13 for Scramble Cage II, so anything other than Special K winning would ruin it)
-
I don't think it would've been that hard to take Josh Daniels out of the Pure Wrestling Tournament and just have him compete in a regular match earlier in the show, but adding Low Ki to the main event will definitely help it look better on paper. Now, the only match on the Second Anniversary Show that doesn't look good to me is the Country Whipping match between Carnage Crew and Special K.
-
By that time both nWo rosters were probably at their weakest, so they just decided to put them all back together again in that match. It did spark a pretty cool shirt, the original nWo symbol with interchanging red and white lettering.
-
Amazing Red vs. Low Ki in Ring of Honor II! I would love to see just how much better a match between these two could be now that Red has improved his matwork and Low Ki is still Low Ki.
-
One has to wonder if the match would have been even better had Angel Dust and Deranged made the show. Chris Cash and Joker obviously had those spots already planned before the match, so if you would've added Angel Dust and Deranged could it have possibly been one of the best spotfests in CZW history?
-
The Second Anniversary show is shaping up to be a must-see event. The exchanges between B.J. Whitmer and Low Ki should be great, A.J. Styles vs. Jimmy Rave and Backseat Boyz vs. Briscoe Brothers should be awesome as well.
-
Their match at Cage of Death V stole the show in my eyes. When did their rematch take place?
-
Very early results as so far all I know is that someone won a 4-Way match, and B-Boy turned face and joined John Zandig, don't know about any other matches yet. I'll update this thread as soon as I get them. LucharesuFan is in the same chat with me, and it isn't looking too good as far as results go, and the attendance sounds like it may be suffering from the BSB stuff.

Burning Crush 2/13 -Steve Corino© vs. Shane Douglas (World title) -Extreme Horsemen© vs. Stampede Bulldogs (Global Tag Crown) -Dark Fuego, M-Dogg 20, and Sonjay Dutt vs. Hart Foundation 2.0 (Apocalypse, Jack Evans, and Teddy Hart) vs. Juventud Guerrera and Los Maximos (Dragon's Gate match) Burning Crush 2/14 -Sonjay Dutt© vs. Chad Collyer (Jr. Heavyweight title) -Juventud Guerrera vs. Teddy Hart -Extreme Horsemen (C.W. Anderson, Justin Credible, and Steve Corino) vs. Samoan Island Tribe (MANA, Samu, and ???) (Hardcore match) Chris Hero will return as a MLW regular in April. Backseat Boyz will debut on MLW's April tour. Credit goes to MLW's Locker Room Scoops. If the match is anything like their TNA match it should be great, but if they are able to build on to their TNA match it could be spectacular. I'm interested to see how well the six-sided ring match goes with the talent involved.
-
I was hoping it would be Brian XL ever since I heard about the Dark Fuego gimmick. It definitely fits as Brian XL is pretty much a carbon-copy of Red and they can put on some great matches together. Should be very interesting when they get in the ring together.
