So, one of the least talented guys in the tournament wins it just so he doesn't lose his IWA Heavyweight title. That sucks.
-
I'll probably be ordering. Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki, Chad Collyer vs. Chris Sabin, Tag Gauntlet for the Gold, and Sting are reason enough for me.
-
It wasn't as great as it had been made out to be, but it is still a very good match. ****

IWA's Friday shows have always drawn small crowds, tonight will most likely have a much better turnout. And yes, I think this is IWA's last hurrah, because their future probably rested on how much this show drawed, and 150 fans probably didn't pay the price for A.J. Styles by himself.
-
My guess is after A.J. Styles' great performance at the 2002 Ted Petty Invitational, he'll go at least to the finals if not win the whole tournament.

1st Round: Alex Shelley over Chris Sabin Jimmy Jacobs over Salvatore Rinauro Chris Hero over Arik Cannon Sonjay Dutt over Nate Webb Danny Daniels over Ken Anderson Jimmy Rave over Colt Cabana Jonny Storm over M-Dogg 20 Jerry Lynn over Michael Shane A.J. Styles over Todd Sexton B-Boy over J.C. Bailey Nigel McGuinness over Brad Bradley Tracy Smothers over Ian Rotten 2nd Round: Alex Shelley over Jimmy Jacobs Chris Hero over Sonjay Dutt Jimmy Rave over Danny Daniels Jonny Storm over Jerry Lynn A.J. Styles over B-Boy Nigel McGuinness over Tracy Smothers Semi-Finals: Chris Hero over Alex Shelley Jonny Storm over Jimmy Rave A.J. Styles over Nigel McGuinness Finals: A.J. That really does suck. Hopefully, MLW will get everything back together in time for their GTC Carnival in January or February.

Bryan Danielson returning to Japan

From what I saw of him teaming with the Havana Pitbulls against Jushin Liger, Tiger Mask, and someone else, Danielson can be a pretty good heel. -
ROH/All Japan Supershow Set For Dec. 27th In PA
JustJoe2k5 replied to tpww7's topic in General Wrestling
I'm guessing the convention card will be that show's showcase card, with possibly some of the lower-card talent getting a chance to face some of the All Japan talent. -
Vince McMahon winning the World Championship, forfieting the title and putting it in the 6-Pac Challenge, only to have Triple H win it back. Shane McMahon holding the European Championship and "retiring" it. Vince McMahon facing Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon facing Sable in various PPV matches. The Montreal Screwjob, one of the worst decisions ever by WWE. Bill Goldberg being treated like just another wrestler instead of the unbeatable monster he should be. Mark Henry and Mae Young having a hand for a child. You can't make something out of nothing, which is why Nathan Jones will never amount to anything. You made some good points, but WWE has done just as much stupid stuff, atleast you could count on WCW's cruiserweights to put on a must-see match at nearly every show.

If it wasn't for WCW, WWE's roster would be half of what it is now.

ROH/All Japan Supershow Set For Dec. 27th In PA

Homicide vs. Satoshi Kojima should be awesome, and hopefully we'll get Christopher Daniels vs. Kaz Hayashi. -
This match was like three months ago, RFVideo has already released it on video, which shows just how long it's been, so why don't we quit the back and forth since there will never be a finish and talk about something else?
-
I have a feeling Japan had more to do with Low Ki leaving than anything else, which really sucks since Low Ki was one of the few guys that has been with Ring of Honor since the very first show. I wish him all the best but I'm going to miss seeing him in RoH. If he does come back to the U.S., I hope he is not invited back to Ring of Honor because that would show that RF does show favoritism.
-
What kind of videos do you have?
-
Didn't Triple H attack Steve Austin after the match? I was at the show live and remember seeing that on the video screen before I left, could it have possibly been Triple H?
-
TNA is actually helping Ring of Honor and all other independent federations by insuring that guys like Christopher Daniels, A.J. Styles, C.M. Punk, and Raven are not going to be signed by WWE. So, instead of complaining about C.M. Punk not feuding with Raven in every post, you should start talking about other shit like Low Ki continually choosing Japan over Ring of Honor.

I am a fan of Rey Mysterio, but I do have to agree that his stuff in WWE is nothing compared to his work in WCW. You have to take into account his leg injury though, that could be keeping him from trying new moves or doing some of his past moves. I would love to see him try that springboard DDT-type move he did to Eddie Guerrero at Halloween Havoc '97.
-
Homicide vs. Samoa Joe from Do Or Die is still one of my most favorite matches from Ring of Honor. They are both really good at beating the shit out of each other.
-
Ted Petty Invitational '02, all-around one of the greatest independent shows I've ever seen.
-
For the first time ever I'm rooting for Vince McMahon to win, because Undertaker being Buried Alive can only mean the return of the Deadman possibly at Royal Rumble if Vince McMahon has a match.
-
I have Genesis and Reload on DVD.
-
I'm sure Jeff Jarrett also had a hand in the Raven feud being the first thing highlighted on the show and A.J. Styles getting his very own promotional commercial.
-
How exactly was A.J. Styles buried last night?
-
I would have to go with the Three Stages of Hell match. Just because it is three Alex Shelley vs. Jimmy Jacobs matches together.
