2003 IWA-MS Ted Petty Invitational Thread
JustJoe2k5 replied to Sandman9000's topic in General Wrestling
I think the CZW vs. XPW rivalry was more of a John Zandig vs. XPW rivalry. Ian Rotten worked XPW earlier this year and he is now in CZW, M-Dogg 20 has already worked against two CZW wrestlers, Adam Flash and Sonjay Dutt, and they worked a pretty good 3-Way Tag Team match. -

The Ultimate Ric Flair Collection DVD Cover...
JustJoe2k5 replied to Steviekick's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm just hoping they include Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat 2/3 Falls instead of WrestleWar '89 again. -

Why would TNA want Raven, who is still remembered by most WWE fans as the guy who couldn't beat D'Lo Brown and Jeff Hardy on Heat, as their World Champion?
-
People get drink thrown on them almost weekly on RAW and Smackdown, I've never seen them chase after anyone.
-
But, Eddie Guerrero also had a damn good opponent in Super Crazy. Jeff Hardy had a rookie, Krazy K, and Joey Matthews. Not exactly great opposition to show off your skills.

topnotchtapes.com is where I get all of my videos.

Have any results for this show?
-
A.J. Styles must turn face, the man just doesn't have what it takes to be a serious threat as a heel. He has to look up to all of his opponents and hasn't really said anything insulting to get crowd heat. I wouldn't mind seeing Jarrett win the title and join Russo, turning Styles face and getting the fans behind him for a possible rematch. Then, Styles could either win the title back and feud with Daniels, or lose the blowoff by Jarrett cheating, Jarrett feuds with Raven and Styles feuds with Daniels over #1 Contender spot.
-
I think so.
-
I have to go with Special K, they know how to entertain me with their spotfests.
-
B-Boy vs. Homicide should be a good stiff contest and Angel Dust vs. Deranged should be a great spotfest.
-
Have they announced any matches for next week?
-
The free pre-show worked for me, and I didn't order the event.
-
It's called the 630 Splash, TNA showed it in the promo for their show tonight. It's one full revolution and then back into a senton bomb, pretty good when he hits it although the one they show in the promo is kind of messed up.
-
I wouldn't mind seeing a "match" between Hulk Hogan and Vince Russo on TNA. They could build it off the true hatred the two have for each other and it would definitely bring in some buys. Load the rest of the card with good matches involving regulars and TNA could gain more exposure.

WWE will probably use Jimmy Yang as Jamie Noble's other cousin who is an Elvis Impersonator. Was it just me, or was Yang way more into being a Flying Elvis than he should have been.
-
When WCW began their Cruiserweight Tag Team division, they only had Kidman and Mysterio, Romeo and Skipper, Karagias and Moore, and Jung Dragons. So, Kidman and Mysterio, London and Spanky, M. Hardy and Moore, Noble and Yang, and Funaki and U. Dragon would make a pretty good division. It would be very hard for them not to put on great matches.
-
I hope they show both Christopher Daniels vs. Super Dragon and Juventud Guerrera and Super Dragon vs. Los Maximos. I plan on recording those mofos.

You can probably place the blame for all of the insane spots in Independent wrestling on WWE, WCW, ECW, etc. because when a mark watching WWE sees Chris Benoit deliver ten german suplexes in and row to Steve Austin and not get a pin. Then, if he watches an Indy federation and sees someone pinned after one german suplex it would make that worker look very weak.
-
I'm guessing it was because Jersey All Pro Wrestling was running the same night with Al Snow, Raven, and Terry Funk headlining.
-
Speaking of Indy shows, anyone got results of all of tonight's and last night's shows. LXW, USA Pro, and JAPW were all having shows.
-
I would say get Hostile Takeover over Fallout if you can only get one. Both shows are great, but Hostile Takeover has Mexico's Most Wanted vs. New Panthers which is a great tag match.
-
Jimmy Yang vs. Jamie Noble, Jimmy Yang vs. Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Yang vs. Ultimo Dragon, and Jimmy Yang vs. Tajiri would all be great.
