I think he'll be there, but they may tone down any heelish acts. Although, knowing Vince McMahon, something similar to what Hawk 34 suggested will happen.

Carter wants $9 million over three years. Toronto was said to be interested, but if they sign Michael Peca they may not have the cap room to offer Carter a deal.

Possible goaltender controversy in Anaheim? I'm surprised that there aren't any teams interested in Giguere, although Anaheim probably wants a hell of a lot for him. I liked what I saw from Bryzgalov in the playoffs, but you shouldn't talk about a teammate like that. I have heard that if the deal between Detroit and Belfour falls through, they could be interested in Giguere.

I would have to believe it'll be Gerber. You don't pay $3.7 million a year to a backup goaltender. I think people tend to overlook the stellar regular season that Martin Gerber had and focus on his non-performance in the playoffs. He won alot of games for the Hurricanes last year.

Should be a fun show. The tag match could be very good if they give it enough time.

I've already heard that alot of Sabres' fans plan to snatch up all the tickets they can as soon as they go on sale, simply to "boo" as loud as possible as the banner is being raised. Aside from that, there were plenty of fights between fans throughout the ECF and I wouldn't expect anything more from the same Sabres' fans this time.

It's Buffalo. They can't hate anyone enough for it to get ugly. The Eastern Conference Finals are still fresh in everyone's minds. Sabres' fans still hate the 'Canes' fans and the 'Canes' fans still hate the Sabres' fans. I didn't mean it would get ugly on the ice, I meant it might get ugly in the stands.

I always thought his In Your House match against Bret Hart from late '95 was very underrated. I felt he was a pretty solid mid-carder. Definitely better than all of the cartoon characters McMahon tried to introduce from '92-'97.
